Abstract

Parking area problems generally still rely on traditional systems, while the automatic smart parking system utilizes RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to manage vehicle access in and out of the parking area. This smart parking system is designed using RFID integrated with the Arduino Uno microcontroller, and system programming is carried out using the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) software. A survey of parking facilities at PT. SI conducted on 50 employees showed that 82.80% of them did not get a parking space and had to park their vehicles elsewhere because the parking area was full and it was difficult to find an empty parking lot. In addition, 67.20% of respondents stated that the parking area was poorly lit. This article discusses the design of an RFID-based smart parking system implemented using Arduino Uno, which makes it easier for drivers to find available parking spaces with the help of LED lights. The Research & Development method is used in this study to produce and test the effectiveness of the product prototype. The results of the study show that the prototype of the RFID-based smart parking system and RFID cards has been successfully developed, with information on parking availability displayed on the LCD screen. This prototype is also equipped with LED lights that make it easier for drivers to find empty parking areas. Furthermore, a more sophisticated RFID system is being developed to improve RFID reading response, as well as being equipped with CCTV and other security support sensors to improve the security of the smart parking system.

Abstract

In this era of rapidly evolving information technology, the need to monitor and manage indoor air quality is becoming increasingly important. Poor air quality can have a negative impact on human health and productivity. Therefore, this research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Indoor Air Quality Monitoring System. The proposed system uses sensors connected to the IoT network to measure air quality parameters, such as temperature, humidity, particle content, and certain gases. The data collected by these sensors will be sent in real-time to a server via an internet connection. The server will process the data and present it in a form that can be accessed through a web interface. The implementation of IoT allows for more efficient and accurate monitoring, and provides easy access to data remotely. Users can monitor indoor air quality through their mobile devices or personal computers. The use of IoT technology in this monitoring system is expected to increase responsibility and awareness of indoor air quality. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve the health and comfort of indoor environments. The conclusion of this research includes evaluation of system performance, analysis of the data generated, as well as potential development and improvement for further research.

Abstract

Perancangan Prototype Kanopi Pelindung Jemuran Berbasis Internet Of thing dirancang untuk memudahkan masyarakat dalam proses penjemuran pakaian atau makanan secara efektif. Saat ini banyak masyarakat yang mendapatkan masalah pada proses penjemuran, hujan yang turun secara tiba-tiba membuat masyarakat kesulitan dalam proses pengangkatan jemuran. Oleh sebab itu dirancang prototype kanopi pelindung jemuran berbasis Internet of thing yang terintergrasi dengan aplikasi blynk dengan memanfaatkan tiga sensor yang dipasang yang berfungsi untuk memonitoring dan mendapatkan data cuaca. Yaitu : sensor hujan berfungsi untuk mendeteksi turunnya hujan, sensor cahaya berfungsi untuk mendeteksi gelap atau cerahnya cahaya dan sensor suhu yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi perubahan suhu. berdasarkan kesimpulan data yang didapatkan dari ketiga sensor tersebut, pengguna dapat memutuskan untuk menutup atau membuka kanopi yang digerakkan menggunakan motor servo. Sehingga proses penjemuran dapat dilakukan secara efektif.. Kata kunci:  Internet of thing, Blynk, Kanopi, Monitoring cuaca, Jemuran.
