Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the implementation of the project-based learning model on the Pancasila student profile of students in the material of the structure and function of the body of living things. This study is a type of action research in the classroom (classroom research) to overcome problems in the classroom. The subjects of the study were students from Class VIII D of the odd semester for the 2024/2025 academic year, with a total of 37 students at SMP Negeri 7 Banjarmasin. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle reflected in the specified actions. Data collection techniques used observation sheets, tests, project assignments, and documents. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the learning model in the Pancasila student profile has a significant impact on increasing the attitude of reciprocal cooperation and creativity of students, and that the PjBL model is effectively used for learning because it does not damage student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the study in cycle I and cycle II which experienced an increase in both the attitude of mutual cooperation and creativity as well as the value of student learning outcomes which were overall declared complete

Abstract

Students face obstacles in solving problems or problems related to learning materials, especially materials related to calculations, especially in science learning. Based on this, this research is aimed at making LKPD with a STEM approach in learning effort and energy material that is in accordance with the validity, practicality, and effectiveness assessment indicators so that it is designed to improve students' ability to solve problems. The method applied is the R&D approach with stages adapted to the ADDIE model. The trial implementation was applied to 30 students in class VIII E at SMP Negeri 5 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques involved LKPD validation instruments, learner response questionnaires, and cognitive tests to measure problem solving skills. The results of the study showed the following: (1) the validity level of STEM-based LKPD products obtained a value of 0.76 which was declared valid, (2) the practicality value of 72.08% showed a practical level, and (3) the effectiveness obtained a value of 0.62 which met the effective category. Based on the results of the study, STEM-based LKPD on effort and energy can be applied in learning activities.

Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to examine the extent to which the use of the paper-based Quizizz platform impacts the learning process in improving students’ academic achievement and critical thinking skills. This research employed a pre-experimental approach utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample was randomly selected from one of the seventh-grade classes. Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments to assess learning outcomes, along with a critical thinking test. The analysis revealed an average N-Gain score of 0.82, which falls into the high category. Statistical testing using the Paired Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.00, indicating a statistically significant improvement in learning outcomes. A separate One Sample T-Test also revealed a significance level of 0.00 for critical thinking, confirming a significant enhancement in students’ critical thinking abilities. Further analysis of each test item demonstrated that all questions were effective in measuring various aspects of critical thinking, including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and drawing conclusions. These findings suggest that implementing paper-based Quizizz as a learning tool can effectively foster comprehensive critical thinking and deepen students’ understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

Pendidikan sangat penting untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa, terutama dalam keterampilan kerja ilmiah di bidang Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Namun, siswa di Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut, seperti yang tercermin dari hasil asesmen PISA. Oleh karena itu, penelitian difokuskan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum terhadap keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa. Desain yang dipilih pada penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design, subjek dibagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu: kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data diperoleh melalui tes keterampilan kerja ilmiah dan observasi selama praktikum. Analisis hipotesis diukur menggunakan independent sample t-test dan uji korelasi bivariate pearson dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,015. Lebih lanjut, terdapat hubungan positif yang cukup kuat antara model pembelajaran dengan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa, yakni nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,488. Observasi menunjukkan peningkatan pada hampir semua indikator keterampilan kerja ilmiah, terutama dalam mengkomunikasikan data dan merancang percobaan. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan keefektifan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum, menjadikannya opsi pembelajaran IPA yang inovatif dan menarik.

Abstract

Tujuan utama proyek ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek siklus mandiri untuk siswa IPA di SMP Negeri 24 Banjarmasin, dengan penekanan pada keanekaragaman hayati dan ekologi di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan kelayakan, efisiensi, dan kegunaan modul yang dimaksudkan. Teknik pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation) digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 24 Banjarmasin dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini antara lain: survei respon siswa, penilaian hasil belajar, dan formulir validasi modul. Validasi modul pasca pembelajaran dengan skor 3,33 menunjukkan bahwa alat validasi ketiga memberikan baseline yang valid. Ujian hasil belajar modul juga dinilai asli dengan nilai 3,10. Temuan kepraktisan modul menghasilkan skor 82,24% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Dengan n-gain 0,75 dan kriteria tinggi, modul IPA berbasis Project Based Learning juga dinilai efektif. Berdasarkan kelayakan yang dicanangkan dan validitas temuan pengujian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ilmiah yang dibangun tentang keberlanjutan tanah dan kehidupan melalui Project Based Learning dapat diterapkan sebagai konten terbuka.
