Abstract

the inhibiting factors of students' cognitive abilities on the theme of our friendly environment in class V SD Inpres Sritabaang. Determination of informants with purposive sampling. The methods used: observation, tests, interviews, documentation and validation sheets. Based on the results of the pre-test scores of 29 students who got sufficient category scores with an average score of 58.37, namely 8 students, and students who got less category scores with an average score of 48.9 were 21 students, the highest score in the pre-test namely 63 with an average score of 50.93. Meanwhile, the results of the post test scores of 29 students who got sufficient category scores with an average score of 62.70, namely 15 students, students who got less category scores with an average score of 49.49 were 13 students, and 1 student who got a score in the good category, the highest post-test score was 73 with an average score of 57.34. In the results of interviews conducted by researchers with fifth grade students at SD Inpres Sritabaang, it was found that the inhibiting factors for students' cognitive abilities came from: internal factors and external factors, in which internal factors were influenced by physical factors and psychological factors, while external factors were influenced by family factors, friend and environmental factors.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the syllabic method on reading skills in Indonesian language subjects for class 1 students at SDN 24 Palu. Determining the sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The method used is quantitative with research type One-group Pre-test-Post-test Design with data collection techniques used, namely observation, validation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. From the results of the hypothesis test, the tcount value is 9.173 and the ttable value is 1.703, so the tcount value is greater than the ttable value. So that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, then there is an influence of using the syllable method on reading skills in Indonesian language subjects of class 1 students at SDN 24 Palu. In the learning process using the syllable method in this research, students received 8 good responses and 20 very good responses with an average score of 88,21%.

Abstract

It is important to instill discipline in every person so that good character values ​​emerge. The importance of strengthening disciplined character is because currently there is a lot of deviant behavior occurring. This research aims to determine teachers' efforts to instill discipline character. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, primary data sources were obtained from 13 teachers consisting of 12 grade 1 principal teachers. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The research results obtained show that teachers use several efforts to instill discipline character, namely example, rules, habituation, praise and punishment. Supporting factors in instilling students' disciplined character are supervision or control from the school principal, teachers being directly involved with students, awareness within students. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the students' parents and the environment. The efforts made by teachers at SD Inpres 3 Tondo have achieved good results. With the efforts used by teachers in instilling a disciplined character in students, students can apply discipline to the environment and also to themselves. For example, students are orderly in their studies, come to school on time, and obey existing school rules, and respect teachers or respect their elders.

Abstract

This research aims to determine teachers' obstacles as well as ways to overcome and supporting factors for teachers to improve student learning outcomes at SDN 9 Mamboro. The method used is qualitative research in the form of descriptive data using three data collection techniques consisting of: observation, interviews and documentation. The technique for determining informants in this research uses a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research show that there are obstacles experienced by teachers in improving the learning outcomes of lower class students, namely: low student ability in calistung, students playing more than studying, students making more noise when studying. And high class, namely: lack of understanding of the material provided by the teacher, students' different grasping abilities, difficulty in using IT technology and the teacher cannot convey the material in full. The ways teachers overcome obstacles in improving the learning outcomes of lower class students are: approaching students, providing stimulus in calistung, inviting students to sing, forming student study groups. And high class, namely: observing students, the teacher guiding the students one by one, and providing motivation.
