Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan workbook pada tema sistem transportasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and development (RnD) Thiagarajan dengan desain penelitian kuasi-eksperimen. Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap 1 define; tahap 2 design; tahap 3 development; tahap 4 dissemination. Aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada kerangka kerja Robert H.Ennis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa workbook yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan perolehan N-gain berturut-turut sebesar 0,68 dan 0,66 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji dampak, diperoleh nilai 1,57 untuk peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis sehingga termasuk dalam kategori efektif. Berdasarkan data di atas dapat disimpulkan, workbook yang telah dikembangkan ini efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP kelas VIII.

Abstract

to improve the quality of human resources which will produce output that is faithful to high morality, productive and innovative. A learning cannot be separated from the learning model itself. To improve student learning outcomes, the researchers applied the Think Pair and Share learning model to the Veda material in order to actively involve students in finding creative ideas and being able to solve problems. This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Pasraman Jagadnatha, Palu City. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles using the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart models. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes where in cycle I classical learning completeness increased to 62.5% and classical absorption reached 80.37% while cycle II classical learning completeness increased to 93.75% and classical absorption of 85.68 %. The performance indicators in this study have been successful so that it can be concluded that the application of this learning model can improve the learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMP Pasraman Jagadnatha, Palu City. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on several aspects, one of which is education. In education, learning is carried out online and offline, the impact of which affects the efforts of teachers in facilitating student learning. So this study aims to describe the teacher's efforts in increasing learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic at the 15 Palu State Elementary School. Determination of informants that the researcher uses is purposive sampling, the research uses a qualitative approach, the type of research used is case studies, the methods that researchers use are interview techniques, observation sheets and documentation. Based on the results of the research and discussion that the researchers did, it was obtained from the results of interviews and observation sheets, where the teacher tried to always improve learning activities by providing motivation and reinforcement to students every time the learning schedule started, and the teacher always tried to provide interesting and easy-to-understand learning for students by the assistance of learning media that can support student success, so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 saat ini berdampak disegala bidang. Salah satunya di bidang pendidikan, dimana pendidikan yang seharusnya dapat dilaksanakan seperti biasa di sekolah oleh semua siswa namun sekarang harus dilaksanakan pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas di masa pandemi COVID-19. Guru di masa pandemi COVID-19 dihadapi dengan tantangan situasi yang belum pernah dialami sebelumnya. Guru harus mampu menggunakan strategi yang efektif dimasa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran di SDN 15 Palu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan di kelas rendah adalah strategi pembelajaran ekspositori dan strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan di kelas tinggi adalah strategi pembelajaran ekspositori dan inkuiri. Dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi. Melihat kendala yang terjadi guru berupaya mengatasi kendala tersebut agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan efektif.

Abstract

Hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di lapangan tepatnya di Desa Karya Mukti Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Dampelas bersama guru-guru dan kepala sekolah bahwa para guru SD pada umumnya mengalami kesulitan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Dengan demikian memberikan pelatihan tentang novasi dan pemanfaatan akun belajar.id untuk pembelajaran kepada sebanyak 10 Guru SDN 10 Dampelas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala merupakan solusi dari permasalahan yang ada. Adapun alur pelaksanaan kegiatan gabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan guru sekolah dasar di SDN 10 Dampelas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala Sulawesi Tengah oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) STAH Dharma Sentana yaitu terbagi atas 3 tahapan: tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi yang dilakukan pada tanggal 19-20 juni 2023 dengan rincian 1) melakukan izin kepada pihak sekolah untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan inovasi dan pemanfaatan akun belajar.id untuk pembelajaran, 2) melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan dengan beberapa materi yaitu: pelatihan literasi dan numerasi untuk guru tingkat sekolah dasar, pelatihan penggunaan Canva untuk pembelajaran, pelatihan pembuatan alat permainan edukatif (APE) untuk pembelajaran, dan perancangan games untuk pembelajaran, 3) melakukan evaluasi dengan berdiskusi mengenai kekurangan selama pelatihan. Dengan pelatihan yang ini dapat diharapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) STAH Dharma Sentana untuk pelatihan guru sekolah dasar di SDN 10 Dampelas Kecamatan Dampelas Kabupaten Donggala Sulawesi Tengah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's strategy in classroom management. the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research results obtained show that the teacher's strategies in classroom management in learning such as: conventional formation, chevron formation, group formation, U-shape formation, conference formation, auditorium formation, circle formation. the differences in teacher strategies in classroom management in the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum, namely: the 2013 curriculum uses conventional seating positions, chevron formations, group formations, U-shape formations and conference formations, while the independent curriculum uses auditorium formations and circle formations. In the teacher's strategy in classroom management there are several obstacles and supports that are commonly felt by teachers such as where the lack of cohesiveness of students has limited learning resources and the physical condition of the class is not good, while for supporting classroom management namely good communication between teachers and students, the atmosphere of the room is neat and clean make students comfortable while carrying out learning, decorations and blackboards are well attached.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of using diagram board media on the learning outcomes of statistics material for fourth grade students at SD Inpres Tipo and to find out students' responses to the use of diagram board media in statistics material. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with a sample size of 30 students. The instruments used in this research were multiple choice questions and student response questionnaires, and were validated by validating content, language and constructs as well as documentation. The method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design research type with data analysis techniques used, namely normality and homogeneity tests of questions and hypothesis testing. The research results obtained show that learning before using diagram board media obtained an average learning outcome of 58.33% and learning after using diagram board media obtained an average learning outcome of 76.33% and the average difference was 18% with tcount is 8.464 and ttable is 1.699, so tcount is > from ttable so that ho is rejected and h1 is accepted, so there is an influence of the use of diagram board media on learning outcomes in statistics material in class IV SD Inpres Tipo. Based on the questionnaire, students obtained a good category with a score of 79.6.

Abstract

KKN Terpadu Sekolah Tinggi Agama Hindu (STAH) Dharma Sentana Sulawesi Tengah di Desa Padalembara Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Selatan Kabupaten Poso merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Kuliah Kerja Nyata dilaksanakan sejak tanggal 25 September 2023 hingga tanggal 22 Desember 2023. Kegiatan terdiri dari kegiatan inti, kegiatan desa, dan kegiatan tambahan. Artikel ini membahas kegiatan desa dan kegiatan tambahan mahasiswa KKN. Kegiatan KKN bertujuan untuk memberi pengalaman dan sebagai proses pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa untuk menggali potensi-potensi desa yang dapat dikembangkan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan KKN di lokasi terdiri dari kegiatan survey, dan perencanaan kegiatan tambahan selain kegiatan inti yang telah direncanakan. Kegiatan tambahan mahasiswa KKN mendapat dukungan dari pemerintah setempat dan masyarakat desa. Kegiatan mahasiswa KKN banyak melibatkan masyarakat dari berbagai golongan, pemerintah desa beserta aparatnya banyak melibatkan mahasiswa KKN dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan desa seperti kerja bakti, pembuatan pembatas dusun, pengadaan pasraman, Pelaksanaan yoga, dan Calistung. Bentuk kegiatan lainnya yang berbentuk moderasi beragama yang melibatkan jemaat gereja dan anak-anak Pasraman. seperti Pembagian Pembatas Alkitab dan Pembagian Naskah Kidung. Kegiatan KKN STAH diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat desa khususnya yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan kebersamaan, dan peningkatan Sosial masyarakat di Desa Padalembara .

Abstract

Background. 21st century education emphasizes the importance of developing high-level thinking skills (HOTS) for students, including analysis, evaluation and synthesis skills. Seamless learning, which integrates technology and media, becomes relevant in this context because it creates a dynamic and connected learning experience. Purpose. This research aims to measure the increase in students’ critical thinking abilities through seamless learning using quasi-experimental methods. By adopting this approach, the research seeks to provide empirical evidence about the effectiveness of seamless learning in improving students’ critical thinking abilities. Method. This research methodology takes a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental methods. Data was collected from a school in West Sumatra, with research subjects being grade 7 students. Data collection was carried out through critical thinking ability test instruments before and after the learning period. Analysis was carried out using the t-test in SPSS to compare the two groups. Results. The results of the analysis showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups, with a greater increase in critical thinking ability scores in the experimental group. The resulting t value was 0.05, with a p value of less than 0.05, indicating that the difference between the two groups did not occur by chance. This confirms that seamless learning has a positive impact in improving students’ critical thinking abilities.   Conclusion. These findings highlight the success of seamless learning in improving students’ critical thinking abilities. However, this study has limitations, such as the relatively small sample size and limited duration of the intervention. Further research with larger sample sizes is recommended to deepen this understanding.
