Abstract

The development of technology in the world of education brings various positive and negative impacts. In this regard, the use of technology in learning in the modern era has led to various kinds of innovations, which are marked by the use of video as a learning medium. This study aims to explore the video-based learning process as a learning medium, as well as to analyze teacher and student perceptions of these activities. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on this, the researchers found findings in the form of, the application of video as a learning medium received a good response from teachers and students, one of which was an interesting activity because in addition to being educational. In addition, the results showed that with the use of video as a learning medium, students became more focused and enthusiastic, but in this use, it was found that students were not very comfortable due to problems in several ways, one of which was the low quality of the video causing audio and visual elements of the material. Islamic Religious Education Learning is not delivered optimally.

Abstract

Aims: Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis must limit fluids to prevent fluid overload, which worsens the condition of patients with chronic kidney disease. Restricting fluids results in reduced oral intake, which results in a dry mouth and rarely flowing water on the tongue. This condition can trigger a feeling of thirst. One way to manage thirst is to chew ice cubes. Objective: to determine the effect of chewing ice cubes on reducing thirst in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Method: This research is a type of quantitative research with Quasy Experiment research with a pretest and posttest approach with a sample size of 60 respondents, 30 respondents in the intervention group, and 30 respondents in the control group using purposive techniques sampling. And for data collection using the DTI (Dialysis) questionnaire Thirst Inventory). Results: The effect of giving the intervention of chewing ice cubes to patients undergoing hemodialysis obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) for pre-post in the intervention group and a p-value of 0.317 (p > 0.05) for pre-post in the control group. It can be concluded that the posttest value of the intervention group and the posttest value of the control group obtained a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in group posttest scores between the intervention group and the control group. Conclusion: The results of the study show that the intervention of chewing ice cubes in patients with chronic kidney disease has an effect so that it can be used.

Abstract

Abstract

Currently educators are faced with great challenges, where educators are required to develop human resources by utilizing technology, especially in modern physics learning in the era of Society 5.0. This research aims to design and develop a 360° video microlearning that is feasible to use as a learning media for modern physics courses on the topic of length contraction to support effective learning in class. This research is a type of development research using the ASSURE model. In this study, the sample used consisted of 60 respondents taken from 1 class of physics education students and 1 class of UNJ physics students. This study shows that the use of 360° videos significantly improves students' understanding of complex physics concepts and increases their involvement in the learning process. The impact can be seen from the improvement of learning quality that creates an interactive and engaging learning experience. The final product of this research is a 360° video presented using the YouTube platform and can be accessed easily by students using supporting electronic devices. The 360° video has gone through the feasibility test stage to media experts and material experts. The results of the product feasibility test by media experts with a percentage of 93.75% get the results of "Very Feasible", as well as by material experts with a percentage of 87.5% get the results of "Very Feasible".
