Abstract

Accurate inventory recording is a crucial aspect of maintaining warehouse operational efficiency. XYZ Institution is a government agency that operates two distinct types of warehouses: the Central Supply Warehouse and the Environmental Chemical Warehouse. Historically, manual inventory recording in both warehouses has resulted in discrepancies between system data and actual field conditions, with an average data accuracy of only 67% in the Central Supply Warehouse and 44% in the Environmental Chemical Warehouse. This study aims to develop an inventory management application based on AppSheet using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of design, implementation, and Black Box testing to verify the application's functionality. The application users consist of an admin, who acts as the warehouse supervisor, and end users, namely staff of the Central Supply Warehouse and the Environmental Chemical Warehouse, each with workflows tailored to their respective operational requirements. The test results indicate that the application successfully meets the designed system requirements and is ready for operational use. It is expected that the implementation of this application will serve as an initial step toward the broader digitalization of logistics systems within government institutions

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi saat ini, perkembangan dunia bisnis sangat pesat, salah satunya bisnis dibidang ekspedisi. Bisnis ekspedisi merupakan suatu usaha yang bergerak di bidang layanan pengiriman barang antar kota, antar provinsi, antar pulau, bahkan antar negara. Layanan ekspedisi meliputi pengiriman surat, dokumen berharga, pengiriman barang dengan kapasitas kecil hingga besar. Dimensi kualitas pelayanan pengiriman barang pada pelanggan, kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada ekspedisi J&T. Metode yang digunakan Systematic Literature Review. Hasil review 15 jurnal mengenai dimensi kualitas pelayanan telah memenuhi kriteria di antaranya jurnal 1-15 jurnal yang diterbitkan pada rentang waktu tahun 2017-2022 dan sumber didalamnya mengenai dimensi kualitas pelayanan, indikator pelayanan pelanggan, dan pengaruh positif pelayanan pelanggan pada ekspedisi J&T. Dari hasil yang telah ditelusuri mengatakan bahwa indikator dimensi kualitas pelayanan pengiriman barang pada pelanggan ekspedisi J&T diantaranya adalah fasilitas, harga, kecepatan pengiriman, keamanan pengiriman, tangiable (berwujud), rehability (kehandalan), responsiveness (tanggapan), assurance (jaminan), emphaty (empati), product quality (kualitas produk). Indikator tersebut dijadikan sebagai penunjang dalam menentukan seberapa puas pelanggan terhadap ekspedisi pengiriman J&T. Setiap indikator yang secara keseluruhan memiliki jumlah 10 indikator pada dimensi kualitas pelayanan pengiriman barang pelanggan ekspedisi J&T, secara keseluruhan menghasilkan atau memberikan nilai pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada ekspedisi J&T. Dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan nilai positif dari para pelanggan selama menggunakan ekspedisi J&T.

Abstract

Pengelolaan persediaan yang kurang efektif dapat menimbulkan pemborosan biaya dan mengganggu kelancaran distribusi material penting pada perusahaan layanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dan Just In Time (JIT) dalam pengendalian persediaan pipa HDPE di Perusahaan XYZ. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menganalisis data pemakaian pipa tahun 2024, melalui observasi dan wawancara untuk memperoleh data kebutuhan, biaya pemesanan, biaya penyimpanan, serta parameter safety stock dan reorder point. Metode EOQ digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan optimal dan total biaya persediaan dengan mempertimbangkan cadangan pengaman dan titik pemesanan ulang, sedangkan JIT menyesuaikan pemesanan dengan kebutuhan aktual guna meminimalkan kelebihan stok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa JIT menghasilkan total biaya persediaan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan EOQ, dengan penghematan sebesar Rp3.065.040 untuk pipa 2 inci dan Rp3.006.017 untuk pipa 4 inci. Namun, frekuensi pemesanan yang tinggi dan keterbatasan sistem pengadaan membuat metode ini belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kondisi operasional perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, metode EOQ dipilih sebagai pendekatan yang paling tepat diterapkan dalam jangka pendek hingga menengah karena mampu menekan biaya secara efisien, menjaga ketersediaan material, dan lebih sesuai dengan kapasitas sistem yang ada.

Abstract

The dynamic development of the business world demands that Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an accurate and easy-to-use sales forecasting system, considering that many MSMEs still rely on intuitive methods that cause supply chain inefficiencies. This study aims to design a prototype of a multi-method-based sales forecasting system that is adaptive to data characteristics and can be easily operated by MSMEs with various levels of digital literacy. The methodology used includes collecting and analyzing user needs, data pre-processing (including outlier detection and ABC classification), and time series modeling with five methods (ARIMA, Holt-Winters, Prophet, Theta, LightGBM). Model accuracy was evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) on data divided 70:30 for the training set and test set, while usability was assessed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with ten non-technical respondents. The test results showed that the system was able to automatically adjust the selection of the best method based on historical product data patterns. The system also achieved an average SUS score of 90, indicating an "excellent" level of usability. Therefore, this prototype has the potential to be a practical sales prediction tool for MSMEs to support data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

Manual inventory recording in warehousing is prone to high risks of data entry errors, data loss, and operational inefficiency. This study aims to design and test an RFID simulator device based on Arduino UNO R3 and ESP32 microcontroller to simulate warehouse automation. The system design includes the development of integrated hardware and software components to form a comprehensive RFID workflow. Testing was conducted to assess reading accuracy, maximum reading distance, response time, as well as the ability to modify and delete data. The results show that the system can read tags with 100% accuracy, with a maximum range of 15 cm and an average response time of 4.83 seconds. The system also successfully performs data modification and deletion via a web interface, indicating its applicability to basic warehouse and logistics systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of service failure and service recovery on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention among Shopee Xpress users in the Greater Bandung area. Using a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM via SmartPLS, data were collected from 150 active users. Results show that both service failure and service recovery significantly affect customer satisfaction but do not directly influence repurchase intention. Customer satisfaction has a strong and significant effect on repurchase intention and mediates the relationship between service failure and recovery toward repurchase behavior. These findings highlight the importance of service quality improvement and responsive recovery strategies to build customer loyalty in Indonesia’s competitive e-commerce logistics sector.
