Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi rendahnya partisipasi belajar peserta didik di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 79 peserta didik yangdiambil dengan caraacak. Instrumen penelitian  menggunakan wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Data diolah dengan analisis faktor untuk mencari faktor yang paling dominan dari 20 variabel. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa dari 6 aspek dengan 20 variabel pembentuknya, didapatkan 6 faktor baru yang terbentuk. Faktor yang paling dominan, yaitu: keberanian memberikan tanggapan, pemahaman peserta didik, keberanian menjawab pertanyaan, kemampuan menjelaskan, kemampuan menyimpulkan, dan kepercayaan diri bertanya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu ada enam faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh palih besar terhadap rendahnya partisipasi belajar peserta didik SMKN 6 Bandung.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has been affected by the Covid-19 virus. The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the education sector in Indonesia, resulting in the government changing the learning system, which is usually face-to-face, now into long-distance through an online learning system. So seeing a situation like this requires information about the effectiveness of the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only is the learning process online, but the TA guidance process must also be online. This study aims to determine aspects of the online TA guidance process, namely the behavior of lecturers, media guidance, time utilization, and student behavior. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method and the data were obtained through a survey. The subjects of this study were students of 2016 and 2017 at PTM who experienced an online TA guidance process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research sample was 117 students. The results of this study are, the online TA guidance process of PTM students is quite effective, including aspects of lecturer behavior and aspects of guidance media, while aspects of time utilization and aspects of student behavior are in the ineffective category.

Abstract

The implementation of this research was motivatedby the low results of student examinations in the Automotive Engine Electricity subject in 2017-2018, namely there were 27 students with an assessment standard of 7.5 after taking the average score of students at a value of 5.17 which indicates the average value of students. is far below the minimum completeness criteria value.Researchersestimatethatthelowachievementofstudenttestscoresisduetolowunderstandingof learning materials, and understanding of this material is influenced by the application of learning mediathatisnotoptimal.Learningmediaisessentiallyabridgeoflearningmessagesconveyedby lecturers to students so that they can be absorbed quickly and precisely according to their purpose. Some of the optimal application of learning media can use Android-based media, especially Unity Media.Researchersstigmatize thattheuseofAndroid-basedlearningmediawithUnitymediacan improve student learning outcomes. The implementation of this study aims to determine whether the use of android-based applications can significantly improve students' ability to read conventional ignition wiring diagrams in the Automotive Engineering course. Retrieval of data in thisstudywastaken fromasampleofautomotiveconcentrationmechanicalengineeringeducation students who are currently taking Automotive Engine Electrical courses. The research design that the researchers used was the Experiment type One Group Pre-test-Post test Design. Based on the research data, the data shows that there is a significant increase in student achievement, which is obtainedbasedonthepretestandposttestscores.TheaverageN-gainscoreobtainedfromthisstudy is 0.41 in the mediumcategory.

Abstract

hisstudyaimsto find out the management and student’s satisfaction in usingfacilities and infrastructure in motorcycle engineering workshops. This research was conducted because when researchers conducted field experience (PPL) activities found that the school management was not maximized, workshop facilities were not appropriate, and the ratio of the number of practical tools to students was not ideal. The method used is descriptive. The head of the workshop and studentsbeing the samplesof SMK X Bandung with the subject of the head of the workshop as many as 1 person and students of class XI as many as 42 students. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire method and observing the workshop facilities and infrastructure, and documentation. Based on explorations that have been carried out in the work area of the engine, chassis, and automotive electrical contacts for electrical contacts the amount does not match the BSNP standard used. Storage room, instructor's work table, chairs, tool cabinets and materials, motorcycle object training facilities, media engine stands, electrical media, Motorcycle Engineering and Business equipment for dial test indicators, workshop support equipment and trolly equipment are not in accordance with BSNP standards used. Data analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis techniques, the analysis uses the percentage of data used to see the comparison of the size of the number of answers given by respondents, because the frequency of respondents' answers for each item is not the same. The results of management research and satisfaction in the utilization of facilities and infrastructure of Motorcycle Engineering workshops are as follows, 1) Management of workshop facilities and infrastructure is included in the excellent category. 2) Student satisfaction in the use itis included in satisfactory category.

Abstract

There are numerous external costs associated with logistics that can potentially have an indirect influence on businesses or society as a whole. The purpose of this research paper is to provide an overview of the external costs related to the health of truck drivers and how it can potentially have a detrimental effect on supply chains. Truck drivers are vital contributors to the logistics and transportation sector and their role has a significant impact on the global economy. However, the demanding nature of their profession often leads them to neglect their own well-being and health, which in turn can have negative consequences for the drivers themselves, their companies, and the overall supply chains. This is a crucial issue that has unfortunately been largely overlooked in the existing literature on logistics and transportation. The objective of this paper is to identify the matter and propose a solution which involves monitoring the stress and fatigue levels of truck drivers in real-time using wearable device sensors and the Internet of Things. The aim is to create awareness within the logistics community and to encourage future research that can help mitigate the issues that may arise due to the presence of unhealthy truck drivers.

Abstract

Air merupakan tiga perempat bagian yang paling banyak dalam tubuh manusia. Manusia rata-rata membutuhkan asupan air sebanyak dua liter dalam satu hari. Kekurangan 1-2% air pada tubuh dapat mengakibatkan fungsi otak menjadi terganggu. Air yang berkualitas dijelaskan dalam tiga parameter, yaitu parameter fisika, kimia dan biologi. Pentingnya pengukuran tingkat pH dan karbon dioksida pada air merupakan upaya agar dapat mengetahui apakah kualitas air yang diukur memiliki tingkat keasaman yang baik atau buruk. Tujuan dilakukan pengujian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karbon dioksida dan pH yang terkandung di dalam air. Hasil dari pengujian akan dijabarkan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu penyajian data yang diperoleh dari perhitungan jumlah senyawa beserta pengamatan terhadap angka yang muncul pada alat pengukur secara jelas dan sistematis. Pengujian yang telah dilakukan menghasilkan nilai pengukuran kadar karbon dioksida tertinggi dan terendah masing-masing dari sampel A5 (12,32 mg/L) dan A1&A3 (3,52 mg/L). Nilai pH tertinggi dan terendah masing-masing diperoleh dari sampel A4 (8,4) dan A1 (7,9). Hasil pengujian ini membuktikan bahwa perbedaan jenis air akan memengaruhi nilai pengukuran disertai faktor intensitas cahaya yang masuk dan jenis pereaksi yang digunakan dalam proses pengukuran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sulfur, saponin, and cardiac glycoside content in cassava tapai using three different processing methods: steamed tapai, plastic-wrapped tapai, and boiled tapai. Chemical tests were conducted to identify the presence of these three components in two separate trials for each sample. The test results revealed that none of the three types of tapai contained sulfur. However, plastic-wrapped tapai showed a significant presence of saponin, with the test results indicating a considerable amount (++), in the first trial and a moderate amount (+) in the second trial. Meanwhile, no saponin was found in either steamed or boiled tapai. Additionally, cardiac glycosides were detected in all three types of tapai, in both the first test and the repeated test, with results consistently showing (+) for all samples. This study provides insight into the differences in chemical composition based on the processing method used, which can influence the nutritional value and functional properties of cassava tapai.

Abstract

Competition among manufacturing companies drives industrial growth to adopt a competitive pattern. One way for companies to compete and avoid falling behind is by optimizing production activities through scheduling each workstation (job shop scheduling). This scientific article employs a literature review method with an evidence-based approach to identify relevant case studies. The research findings indicate that the job shop scheduling model has a significant positive impact on companies, such as increasing production efficiency and enhancing resource performance, ultimately minimizing costs and production time. However, it cannot be overlooked that this model also has negative effects, such as increased waste, pollution, and depletion of non-renewable resources. Therefore, the manufacturing industry must implement the concept of sustainability, focusing on three main pillars: economic, environmental, and social aspects. This approach aims to maintain productivity, enhance the quality of production performance, and minimize risks associated with optimizing job shop scheduling, ensuring maximum profitability for the company.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi dalam Warehouse Management System (WMS) semakin penting seiring meningkatnya kompleksitas rantai pasok di era revolusi industri 4.0. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesenjangan antara fitur WMS yang ditawarkan penyedia third-party logistics (3PL) dengan kebutuhan spesifik berbagai sektor industri. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengumpulkan artikel dari jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan pada fitur WMS yang ditawarkan oleh 3PL, kebutuhan sektor industri terhadap WMS, serta identifikasi kesenjangan antara keduanya. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode sintesis tematik untuk memahami hubungan antara fitur yang tersedia dengan kebutuhan sektor tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun fitur IoT dan RFID banyak diterapkan, teknologi analitik prediktif dan keberlanjutan logistik masih kurang diimplementasikan. Kesenjangan ini mempengaruhi kemampuan 3PL dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sektor industri yang dinamis, seperti e-commerce dan manufaktur. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa inovasi lebih lanjut dalam fitur WMS diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan keberlanjutan layanan logistik, khususnya penyedia 3PL.

Abstract

Manual inventory recording in warehousing is prone to high risks of data entry errors, data loss, and operational inefficiency. This study aims to design and test an RFID simulator device based on Arduino UNO R3 and ESP32 microcontroller to simulate warehouse automation. The system design includes the development of integrated hardware and software components to form a comprehensive RFID workflow. Testing was conducted to assess reading accuracy, maximum reading distance, response time, as well as the ability to modify and delete data. The results show that the system can read tags with 100% accuracy, with a maximum range of 15 cm and an average response time of 4.83 seconds. The system also successfully performs data modification and deletion via a web interface, indicating its applicability to basic warehouse and logistics systems.
