Abstract

This research was conducted with two objectives, (1) to describe the content of magical realism in the children's horror novel series Creepy Case Club by Rizal Iwan, and (2) to describe the opportunities for using the book to support Indonesian language learning achievements in various learning phases. The approach used in this study is qualitative. Data is collected through documentation. The source of this research data is six children's horror novel series books Creepy Case Club by Rizal Iwan. Analysis is carried out by content or content analysis. The results of this study are (1) the children's horror novel series Creepy Case Club is a work of magical realism based on the existence of five magical realism markers that appear in each book, and (2) these six books can be used to support Indonesian language learning activities starting from phase A to phase F students. This book not only provides fear or tells stories about something that does not make sense but can also support the educational process of various Indonesian language learning materials.

Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Indonesia, 11(2), 250–258. https://doi.org/10.29210/020254073This article has been retracted by Publisher based on the following reason:The article titled “Pengungkapan Identitas Sosial Melalui Bahasa dalam Nama Diri Keluarga Jawa Islam Tiga Generasi: Kajian Sosiosemantik” has been retracted at the request of the editorial board. Although the manuscript had been formally accepted for publication, it still required minor revisions during the post-acceptance editing stage. However, the authors refused to make the necessary corrections, citing time constraints and formally requested withdrawal of the article. This conduct violates the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which state that authors have a responsibility to engage constructively with the editorial process, including fulfilling revision obligations after acceptance. COPE further emphasizes that withdrawal of accepted articles without valid and justified reasons undermines the integrity of the peer-review system and misuses editorial resources. Therefore, to maintain transparency and uphold publication ethics, the editorial board has decided to retract the article.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menjadi salah satu upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan serta mengembangkan kompetensi guru. Selain itu, penulisan PTK menjadi salah satu penunjang kepangkatan seorang pendidik. Tahapan awal PTK adalah permasalahan pembelajaran yang diketahui melalui proses refleksi. Meski demikian, masih terdapat guru-guru yang memiliki rutinitas refleksi pembelajaran. Selain itu, pemahaman tentang sistematika penulisan PTK masih terbatas. Kondisi ini tampak pada sekolah mitra, yakni pada guru-guru di Kampus St. Bernadus Kota Madiun. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan dua tujuan, yaitu melatih guru merefleksikan kegiatan belajar untuk menganalisis permasalahan pembelajaran serta menentukan tindakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dan melatih guru menuliskan PTK sesuai dengan sistematika penulisan dan ketepatan setiap bagian. Peserta pengabdian terdiri atas guru PAUD, SD, dan SMP yang berada di bawah naungan Yayasan Taruna Bhakti Kota Madiun. Pendampingan dilakukan dengan strategi PAR, dengan keterlibatan pelaksana secara penuh. Selain pendampingan tatap muka, pendampingan juga dilakukan secara daring dengan memanfaatkan WhatsApp dan Google Spreadsheet. Berdasarkan proses pendampingan selama sepekan, diketahui bahwa guru dapat merefleksikan pembelajaran, menemukan permasalahan pembelajaran, serta menentukan alternatif solusi untuk mengatasi kendala belajar tersebut. Guru juga dapat mengetahui sistematika penulisan PTK melalui identifikasi karya yang telah terpublikasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide experience as well as the ability to write, especially prose fiction, for students of SMA Negeri 5 Madiun. Specifically, students who take part in this community service activity are participants in journalism extracurricular activities. Journalistic extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 5 are called Student Literacy Studios or Sangrila. This community service produces outcomes in the form of increasing students' ability to make prose fiction frameworks.
