Abstract

This study is based on a needs analysis of students, which revealed that most students experienced difficulties in understanding the material when relying solely on textbooks. They showed higher motivation to learn through engaging visual media, particularly in the "Aku dan Kebutuhanku" topic. This research aims to develop KPKPD (Student Needs Board Cards) as an instructional medium that is valid, practical, and potentially effective for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 8 Pangkalan Baru. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 35 students. Data collection instruments included needs analysis sheets, expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and tests. The data were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of media expert validation indicated a score of 71.11%, categorized as highly valid. Validation by two material experts yielded scores of 97% and 80%, both falling within the high validity range. The average percentage of the pretest and posttest results reached 80%, indicating a high level of validity. Teacher and student response questionnaires from both small and large group trials showed 100%, demonstrating that the media is highly valid and practical. The normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed, with pretest and posttest values of 0.281 and 0.116, respectively. Furthermore, the hypothesis test produced a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant difference before and after the implementation of the KPKPD (Student Needs Board Cards) media.

Abstract

Students' inability to understand the concepts of Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Greatest Common Factor (GCF) is what spurred this study. It is still difficult for many students to understand factors, multiples, and derived word problems based on these two ideas. This challenge results from a dearth of interesting and distinctive instructional materials. This study aims to investigate the effects of the traditional number game congklak on the mathematical comprehension of fifth-grade pupils at SD Negeri 17 Sungaiselan. A True Experimental Design (TEST) Pretest-Posttest Only Control Design is the quantitative method used in this investigation. Twenty students from the experimental class and twenty from the control class participated in the study. Tests were used to gather data, which was subsequently examined. Using the independent sample t-test, homogeneity test, and Shapiro-Wilk test for normality, it was determined that the data were homogeneous and regularly distributed (p > 0.05). Because the t-test results showed a significant value of 0.007 < 0.05, the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Thus, pupils' mathematical understanding of the components of KPK and GCF is significantly improved by playing the traditional Congklak number game.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 14 Simpang Teritip in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. The underutilization of interactive learning resources, which frequently results in students becoming disinterested and less engaged, is one of the contributing factors. This study's goal was to ascertain the impact of PowerPoint-based interactive media assisted by iSpring Suite 10 on students’ learning outcomes. The study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. each with 20 students. The research instrument was a learning achievement test in the form of pretest and posttest, which through normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The data were normally distributed (Shapiro-Wilk Sig. > 0.05) and had homogeneous variance (Levene Test Sig. = 0.749). Hypothesis testing using Independent Samples T-Test was then carried out. The test results showed a t-count value of 6.143 with a two-tailed significance value (Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. The mean of the experimental group and the control group learning results differ statistically significantly, as indicated by the significance value of 0.000, which is significantly less than alpha = 0.05. Thus, the Ha was accepted, concluding that theeuse of PowerPoint-based interactive media assisted by ispring Suite 10 Had a big impact on helping fourth-grade students learn better about energy topics. These results confirm the effectiveness of interactive media as a learning innovation in elementary schools.
