Abstract

The utilization of solar energy as an alternative energy source is becoming increasingly important in the face of dependence on fossil fuels and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This study analyzes the use of various energy conversion machines in solar power systems, including photovoltaic technology, thermal solar collectors, and Stirling engines. Advances in photovoltaic technology, such as the use of perovskite materials and tandem solar cells, have improved the efficiency of converting solar energy into electricity. Innovations in thermal solar collectors, including the use of nanofluids and solar concentrator designs, have also improved the efficiency of thermal energy collection. Stirling engines show great potential in solar power systems due to their high efficiency and ability to work with a v8ariety of heat sources. This research also discusses challenges and solutions in the implementation of this technology, including initial costs, efficiency affected by weather conditions, and the importance of efficient energy storage systems. Policy support, financial incentives, and collaboration between government, industry, and research institutions are identified as key factors to accelerate the adoption of solar technology. The social and environmental impacts of solar technology implementation are significant, including reduced greenhouse gas emissions, improved energy access in remote areas, and contribution to national energy security. This research contributes to the development of renewable energy technologies and supports the transition to a more sustainable energy system.

Abstract

Karakteristik pencemaran limbah cair Industri kelapa sawit di perairan laut Cilegon Banten. Parameter limbah industri Kelapa Sawit rata-rata dari hasil penelitian : TSS : 3 mg/L , 2 mg/L , 4 mg/L, 3 mg/L , 4 mg/L. pH : 8,20 ; 8,12 ; 8,10 ; 8,02 ; 8,05 BOD5 : 6 mg/L , 8 mg/L , 8 mg/L , 4 mg/L 6 mg/L Minyak dan Lemak : < 0,2 mg/L , < 0,2 mg/L , < 0,2 mg/L , < 0,2 mg/L , < 0,2 mg/L dan kandungan Nitratnya : 0,6 mg/L 0,7 mg/L , 0,6 mg/L , 0,5 , mg/L , 0,7 mg/L . Dengan kondisi tersebut maka perairan tersebur tidak melampaui ambang batas Baku Mutu Limbah Cair Industri Kelapa Sawit . Debit limbah cair buangan 250 m3/hari. Bealah sebesar 15 mg/L, sedangkan baku mutu yang berapa parameter yang di modelkan adalah BOD, COD, TSS, minyak dan lemak, Nitrat serta Amoniak. Hasil model tidak di sajikan secara keseluruhan sesuai dengan domain permodelan maupun tiap langkah waktu, namun hanya di sajikan sebaran maksimum ( worst condition) atau sebaran terjauh dari simulasi selama 15 hari. Konsentrasi BOD maksimum setelah masuk perairan adalah 15 mg/L, sedangkan baku mutunya sebesar 20 mg/L. Demikian juga yang terlihat pada parameter TSS, konsentrasi maksimum yang terlihat hanya sebesar 15 mg/L, sedangkan baku mutu di perbolehkan sebesar 20 mg/L. Konsentrasi maksimum COD yang terlihat juga tergolong kecil, yakni sebesar 18 mg/L berdasarkan PP RI No. 82 tahun 2001 bahwa batas maksimum COD yang di perkenankan untuk kegiatan perikanan adalah 50 mg/L.

Abstract

In 2021, as part of the Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional/ National Economic Recovery (PEN) program, the government introduced additional tax incentives to boost durable goods consumption, the PPnBM incentives, for qualified new car purchases. This study aims to explore the PPnBM incentives’ impact on automotive sectors in 2021, utilizing the Interrupted Time-Series Analysis (ITSA) methodology and seasonal forecasting method with Holt-Winters exponential smoothing and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) for four years from 2018 until 2021. In particular, using the automobile wholesales and tax administration data, this paper assesses the impact of the PPnBM incentives on car wholesales, participating firms’ sales, purchases, and wage expenditure. The impact of the PPnBM incentives on automotive sectors in 2021 suggested no significant difference in incentives-qualifying cars’ wholesales before and after the PPnBM incentives. However, the impact of the PPnBM incentives on total sales recovery resulted in the incentive participants recovering their total sales to the pre-Covid-19 level. In general, from the variables tested, the result suggests that the PPnBM incentives had a modest impact on wholesale recovery and economic activity for participating automotive manufacturers during the incentives period.

Abstract

Tax revenue remains one of the challenging fiscal issues in Indonesia. Improving tax collection performance through comprehensive reform has been an influential agenda, especially for the Directorate General of Taxes. One of the critical improvement areas is the utilization of information technology in tax assessment and audit functions. This study explores the taxpayers’ ability concept as a complementary measure to the existing taxpayer monitoring module, particularly in case selection and targeting functions under the Compliance Risk Management (CRM) framework. The 5Cs of credit analysis (Character, Capacity, Capital, Condition, and Collateral) are employed as proxies for the taxpayers’ ability to pay. This research aims to identify the most effective machine learning algorithm for classifying taxpayers' ability to pay to enhance the CRM's effectiveness for corporate taxpayers, limited to those administered in large and medium tax offices. Several machine learning algorithms were tested, including logistic regression as a baseline comparison, based on the quantitative and qualitative performance comparison. The findings reveal that the Light Gradient Boosting Machine algorithm provides the most effective results in terms of both accuracy and computational efficiency. However, several challenges need to be addressed to improve the model implementation.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian pada masyarakat oleh tim pelaksana dari Universitas Pandanaran pada pelatihan pembuatan pupuk dari kotoran hewan ternak menjadi pupuk organik cair bertujuan untuk menjadikan lingkungan menjadi sehat. Hasilnya dapat di manfaatkan untuk memupuk tanamannya di pekarangannya, disamping itu dapat dijual sebagai income tambahan dari penduduk Kelurahan Bambankerep Kecamatan Ngaliyan. Disamping itu warga dapat memperoleh pengetahuan cara pengolahan limbah kotoran hewan ternak menjadi pupuk dan dapat mengolah secara mandiri. Dengan pengolahan limbah kotoran hewan ini warga dapat hidup dengan lingkungan besih dan tidak kumuh sehingga mengurangi limbah.

Abstract

Metode yang digunakan dalam membuat rancang bangun alat pengekstrak madu elektrik ini menggunakan metode rancang bangun yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu: (1) desain alat (2) menyiapkan alat dan bahan (3) pembuatan komponen (4) pemeriksaan ukuran (5) perakitan (6) pengujian alathasil pengujian. Pada proses perancangan alat pengekstrak madu elektrik diperoleh (1) Dynamo tanpa kapasitor hanya berputar dengan kecepatan 1.350 rotasi permenit dengan daya yang digunakan 29 watt, (2) Kapasitor 6µf memiliki kecepatan putaran 1.400 rotasi per menit dengan daya 48 watt lebih cepat dan daya yang digunakan lebih besar dibandingankan dengan dynamo tanpa kapasitor, (3) Kapasitor 8µf memiliki kecepatan putaran 1.480 rotasi permenit dengan daya 50 watt lebih cepat dan daya yang digunakan lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kapasitor 6µf, (4) Pada percobaan menggunakan kapasitor 10µf yang menyebabkan dynamo gosong dan tidak berfungsi. Setelah melakukan beberapa percobaan diatas maka diperoleh kapasitor dengan dinamo yang sesuai pada alat pengekstrak madu elektrik ini yaitu kapasitor 6µf.
