Abstract

The background of this study includes the need for a deeper understanding of the factors that influence job satisfaction of operators in Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools in Banten Province, especially in the context of visionary and transformational leadership. This study explores the impact of visionary and transformational leadership on job satisfaction among operators at Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools in Banten Province. The research employs a quantitative method with a survey technique. One hundred sixty-six operators from Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools in Banten Province participated in the study. Data on visionary leadership, transformational leadership, and job satisfaction were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire with five response options. The questionnaire was validated before use. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis. The findings indicate that transformational leadership significantly affects job satisfaction, while visionary leadership does not. These findings highlight the importance of developing transformational leadership to enhance job satisfaction among operators of Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools, thereby improving their welfare and impacting the quality of Islamic boarding schools and other Islamic educational institutions. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of transformational leadership development as a strategy to improve the welfare and quality of management in the Islamic education environment, which can strengthen the position of pesantren as effective and competitive educational institutions.

Abstract

The important role of Islamic education in shaping the noble character of the nation's younger generation is widely acknowledged. In the era of information and communication technology, these advancements have transformed various aspects of human life, including education. The implementation of technology in Islamic education management holds the potential for significant benefits, such as enhancing school administration efficiency. This study utilizes a qualitative research method to gain a comprehensive understanding of the application of technology in Islamic education management at MAN 4 Pandeglang. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis to ensure a deep comprehension of the subject matter. The research findings demonstrate that the application of technology in Islamic education management at MAN 4 Pandeglang has yielded significant impacts. The utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) in school administration has enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of educational management. Moreover, the adoption of e-learning, mobile applications, and multimedia technology has improved the quality of Islamic education and increased student and teacher engagement in the educational process. In order to ensure sustainability, the implementation of technology needs to be continuous, enabling MAN 4 Pandeglang to develop a modern, efficient, and effective educational environment. This endeavor will help provide high-quality Islamic education to students and strengthen the school's role in promoting the values of Islam, which are good and righteous.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menemukan gaya kepemimpinan adaptif dan partisipatif yang secara efektif dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Karya ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian dengan menganalisis jurnal dalam dan luar negeri. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui penelitian tekstual selanjutnya dilakukan analisis isi. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan gaya kepemimpinan adaptif dan partisipatif, yang berfokus pada peningkatan profesionalisme guru, kepemimpinan adaptif memerlukan pengintegrasian rekomendasi bawahan ke dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Hal ini menumbuhkan rasa penghargaan di kalangan bawahan terhadap atasannya, karena mereka dianggap sebagai individu yang kompeten dan dapat berkontribusi dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Pendekatan kepemimpinan ini efektif membina hubungan yang kuat antara pemimpin dan pengikutnya. Sedangkan, kepemimpinan partisipatif dapat diartikan sebagai proses mengikut sertakan seorang pemimpin dan pengikutnya dalam mengambil keputusan. Kepemimpinan partisipatif mencakup pertukaran pendapat antar bawahan untuk memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan. Untuk mencapai tujuan akademik, seseorang harus mengupayakan keunggulan dalam Pendidikan. Model kepemimpinan ini memainkan peran penting dalam mempromosikan lingkungan kerja yang positif dan kepuasan kerja.
