Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of augmented reality learning media on students' motivation and learning outcomes in elementary social studies subjects. The research method used is quantitative experimental, pre experimental design, one group pretest-posttest. The data collection technique was done by giving pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques using inferential statistics include parametric statistics using paired sample t-test. The results of the study found that there was a big influence on the use of augmented reality learning media on students' motivation and learning outcomes in elementary social studies subjects. There are two aspects of increasing students' learning motivation including intrinsic and extrinsic aspects. Meanwhile, the increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain is at levels C1, C2 and C3. The results of this study suggest that teachers, especially teachers at the elementary level, make more use of technology in making learning media, especially in social studies subjects. In addition to facilitating the planting of learning concepts, the use of technology-based learning media is also useful in making learning activities more interesting and making it easier for students to understand learning materials.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the influence of the application of problem-based learning models to mathematical problem solving abilities of fifth grade students of SDN Jati Sidoarjo. Describe how much influence the implementation of problem-based learning models on mathematical problem solving abilities of fifth grade students of SD Sido Jati SDN. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research design uses True Experimental Designs in the type of Posttest Only Control Design. The population that was used as the object of research was all students of grade V Jati Sidoarjo Elementary School totaling 44 students, the sampling technique in this study used Simple Random Sampling which was carried out in class V of SD Sido Jati as many as 22 experimental class students and 22 control class students. The results showed 1) there was an effect on problem solving abilities of fifth grade students of Jati SDN by using problem-based learning models and obtained results of tcount = 2.107 greater than t table = 2.08 (2.107> 2.08) with a significance level of 5%. 2) there is a moderate influence between the problem-based learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of class V SDN Jati Sidoarjo. It is evident from the calculation of the data using the Eta Squared formula obtained a value of 0.096. If interpreted then 0.06 ≤ 0.096 <0.14, which is concluded to have a moderate influence.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the learning planning, application of PKn (Civics) instruction, and teacher barriers in online learning for fourth-grade students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects include teachers, principals, and students from SDN Panggreh II. Data collection techniques comprise interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis employs the Miles and Huberman model. Findings reveal that teachers at SDN Panggreh II implemented online learning plans, encompassing syllabi, lesson plans, and learning media. However, they encountered challenges due to limited experience in online teaching and difficulties in selecting appropriate learning materials and activities. The study underscores the need for effective strategies to enhance online Civics instruction and overcome these obstacles, thereby ensuring quality education during times of crisis. Highlights: Importance of online learning: Explore the challenges and strategies involved in implementing online learning for fourth-grade students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Enhancing Civics education: Investigate the application of PKn (Civics) instruction in an online learning environment, emphasizing the need for effective learning plans and appropriate teaching methods. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Group Investigation learning model toward IPS (social studies) outcome in grade IV SDN Suko 1 Sidoarjo. This study used the pre-experimental design model with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The result shows that the T-test calculation was 19,31 ≥ t-table 1,717, which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means there is an influence of Group Investigation Learning Model toward social studies outcome in grade IV SDN Suko 1 Sidoarjo as 0,94. This study can be concluded that the Group Investigation learning model has a significant effect on social studies outcome at grade IV SDN Suko 1 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence and the level of influence of using Microsoft Power Point-based video learning media on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Keret Krembung. The research method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest. The subjects of this study were elementary school students in the fourth grade at SDN Keret Krembung. Data collection techniques using tests. Data analysis used t test (paired) and eta squared formula. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Keret Krembung. The result is tcount = 18,131 which is compared to ttable = 1,711 for a significance level of 5%. It is known that the result of tcount is greater than ttable (18,131 > 1,711). Meanwhile, the results of the eta squared formula obtained a value of 0.93. This shows that the video learning media based on Microsoft Power Point has a major level of influence on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Keret Krembung.

Abstract

The purpose study are (1) to find out whether there was an effect of videoscribe learning media on social studies learning outcomes for grade 4 at MI Nurus syafi'I, (2) to find out how much influence videoscribe learning media had on social studies learning outcomes for grade 4 at MI Nurus syafi'i This study uses a quantitative experimental research design using the PreExperimental – One Group Pretest Posttest Design research design. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the videoscribe learning media on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MI Nurusyafi'I Gedangan, as evidenced by the t-count value of 10,947> 2,074, and the magnitude of the effect can be seen from Cohen's d calculations which show the result of 2.12 > 0 ,8 The conclusion of this study is that there are a major influence on student cognitive learning outcomes at MI Nurus Syafii.

Abstract

Konflik antara Sudan Selatan dan Sudan Utara merupakan konflik internal yang mengakibatkan pelanggaran standar kemanusiaan dan kematian jutaan orang. Konflik antara Sudan Selatan dan Sudan Utara harus mendapat perhatian dunia internasional, khususnya organisasi perdamaian dunia, khususnya PBB. Mengingat PBB mempunyai peranan yang sangat diperlukan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan internasional yang berkaitan dengan rusaknya perdamaian dan keamanan internasional, guna melindungi masyarakat internasional dari bencana perang. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui peran PBB dalam menyelesaikan konflik Sudan Selatan dan Sudan Utara. Dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan induktif, serta berdasarkan teori-teori yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBB sebagai organisasi global untuk perdamaian memegang peranan yang sangat penting bagi negara-negara yang berkonflik. Khusus pada konflik Sudan Selatan dan Sudan Utara, PBB berperan dalam menetapkan tiga program misi perdamaian, yaitu: UNISFA (United Nations Interim Security for Abyei); UNMIS (Misi PBB di Sudan); dan UNMISS (Misi PBB di Sudan Selatan). Upaya ini merupakan pemenuhan peran PBB dalam menjaga perdamaian dan keamanan internasional.  Oleh karena itu, ketiga misi perdamaian tersebut membantu konflik yang sedang berkecamuk saat itu, terutama dengan melindungi warga sipil dari segala ancaman fisik seperti kekerasan seksual, pemaksaan anak terhadap anak menjadi tentara, dan lain-lain. Tujuan dari penyelidikan ini adalah untuk menentukan peran PBB sebagai organisasi internasional dalam penyelesaian konflik di suriah. Pendekatan deduktif terhadap penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Selain itu, informasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari sumber-sumber yang memiliki reputasi baik. sumber-sumber seperti publikasi akademis dan situs berita.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada dasarnya merupakan suatu upaya sadar untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik secara optimal. pendidikan karakter, yaitu; membentuk pribadi anak, supaya menjadi manusia yang baik, warga masyarakat, dan warga negara yang baik, sehingga mampu mengantisipasi gejala krisis moral dan berperan dalam rangka pembinaan generasi muda. Pendidikan IPS adalah mata pelajaran yang mengkaji kehidupan sosial yang bahannya didasarkan pada kajian sejarah, geografi, ekonomi, sosiologi, antropologi dan tata negara. Melalui pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial dapat di masukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dengen mengintegrasikan materi dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial tersebut.

Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan hidup merupakan usaha melestarikan lingkungan dengan mengajarkan di sekolah secara formal. Pendidikan lingkungan hidup bukanlah suatu bidang studi yang berdiri sendiri. Namun, dapat di integrasikan ke dalam suatu bidang studi di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan lingkungan hidup ke dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pustaka dengan metode studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian bahwa pendidikan lingkungan hidup dapat di integrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar melalui 6 standar kompetensi dasar. Pendidikan lingkungan hidup dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber pembelajaran akan menciptakan sekolah hijau.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan tinggi keguruan (LPTK) merupakan lembaga formal pencetak calon guru yang memiliki peran central dalam peningkatan kualitas calon guru. Salah satu permasalahan pendidikan yaitu tidak meratanya tenaga pendidikan di wilayah Indonesia dan permasalahan karakter bangsa. Kegiatan keorganisasian kemahasiswaan pramuka sangat penting bagi mahasiswa untuk menanamkan life skills. Kegiatan keorganisasian kepramukaan kurang diminati oleh mahasiswa, penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan masukan secara teoritis di pendidikan tingg LPTK mengenai organisasi kemahasiswaan pramuka sebagai wadah pengembangan life skills mahasiswa calon guru di LPTK.
