Abstract

One of the problems that parents and teachers often complain about is aggressive behavior in kindergarten students because this aggressive behavior is a problem that often occurs in children and is always there in every school year. Several studies have shown that since childhood the handling and prevention of aggressive behavior must be done. This is done in order to prevent disruptive behavior that may arise in the future and have long-term effects so that it can cause negative effects on children and continue until they are adults. One effort that can be done to reduce aggressive behavior is to develop prosocial behavior. Aggressive individuals are taught to behave in non-aggressive ways. This approach is felt to be more effective in reducing aggression by using the principle of behavior modification learning that focuses on strengthening non-aggressive behavior. Prosocial behavior developed using role playing methods with prosocial themes. The development of this prosocial behavior involved 12 kindergarten students in Yogyakarta. Prosocial behavior is taught using several indicators of prosocial behavior such as helping, sharing, entertaining and collaborating. The Time-series Group Nonequivalent No-Treatment Control Group quasi-experimental design is the design used in this study. Based on the results of this research data analysis it is proven that the aggressive behavior of students in Kinder garten can be reduced through prosocial role playing significantly in the experimental group when compared to the aggressive behavior group in the control group (z=-2.169; p<0.05).

Abstract

Inclusive education has emerged as one of the most successful approaches to meeting the educational needs of students with special educational needs (SEN). However, the implementation of inclusive education still faces several challenges. This review aims to address these challenges and identify effective strategies for successfully implementing inclusive education. A total of fifteen research articles from ERIC, ProQuest, and Google Scholar published between 2020 and 2024 were included in this review. The review identified two key strategies to tackle these challenges: providing comprehensive teacher training programs and promoting the use of Universal Design Learning (UDL) in schools. These strategies have the potential to improve the quality of learning, student engagement, equal access to learning materials, and support for SEN students.

Abstract

Anak dan remaja rentan menjadi korban dan juga pelaku bullying di sekolah terutama akibat dari sosial media. Dewasa ini akses kepada sosial media bagi anak dan remaja semakin tidak terbatas. Akibatnya anak dan remaja tidak mampu membedakan perbuatan mana yang merugikan orang lain mana yang tidak, termasuk yang mengarah ke bullying. Hasil diskusi dengan kepala sekolah SMP YLPI P. Marpoyan menunjukan bahwa beberapa perilaku siswa di SMP tersebut menyebabkan konflik dan kekerasan verbal dan fisik yang mengarah kepada bullying, baik yang disadari maupun yang tidak disadari pelaku dan korban. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menjadikan SMP YLPI Pekanbaru sebagai sekolah yang aman dan bebas dari bullying. “Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahap pembuatan materi,” penyuluhan dan evaluasi melalui kuis untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa bertambahnya wawasan dan pengetahuan para siswa dan guru terhadap perilaku bullying di sekolah serta kaitannya dengan sosial media dan bagaimana cara mencegah dan mengatasinya.

Penelitian ini mengkaji intervensi psikologis untuk meningkatkan self-esteem pada remaja berusia 13 tahun. Pada studi ini akan menggunakan studi kasus seorang klien perempuan yang mengalami rendah diri, kecemasan sosial dan kesulitan adaptasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh intensitas penggunaan Instagram terhadap self-image mahasiswa. Intensitas penggunaan Instagram diartikan sebagai seberapa sering pengguna memanfaatkan berbagai fitur yang tersedia di platform tersebut dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Self image dipahami sebagai gambaran umum mengenai diri atau persepsi yang dibentuk individu tentang dirinya sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui dua instrumen, yaitu skala Intensitas Penggunaan Instagram dan skala Self Image. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 390 mahasiswa, terdiri atas 326 perempuan dan 64 laki-laki. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terdapat kontribusi negatif intensitas penggunaan Instagram terhadap self image, artinya semakin intens mahasiswa menggunakan Instagram, maka self image mereka akan semakin negatif, sebaliknya penurunan intensitas penggunaan Instagram menyebabkan semakin positif nya self image mahasiswa. Dengan demikian penting untuk memperhatikan faktor intensitas penggunaan instagram terhadap terbentuknya self-image pada mahasiswa.

Abstract

Since the Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic was officially declared to have entered Indonesia, in March 2020. This outbreak had an impact on the social and economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic which also affected the level of public welfare. This is due to the limitation of economic activity which at a macro level reduces economic growth and causes many people to lose their jobs, thereby potentially increasing the number of poor people. Based on this, the Government seeks to provide direct cash assistance for the community from the Village Fund or called BLT-Village Fund to reduce the burden on the poor due to the impact of Covid-19. BLT-Dana Desa is financial assistance sourced from the Village Fund and is intended for the poor and vulnerable who have difficulty meeting their daily needs, especially due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Village Fund Cash Direct Assistance (BLT-Village Fund) in Harapan Jaya Village, Central Bunguran District, Natuna Regency in 2020, for people who receive Village Fund Cash Direct Assistance (BLT) in Harapan Jaya Village, Bunguran Tengah District, Natuna Regency in 2020. quite a lot, namely with a total allocation of the number of people who receive as many as 225 Family Heads. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the recipient community towards the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) program during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Harapan Jaya Village, Central Bunguran District, Natuna Regency. This research was conducted with descriptive qualitative methods, namely interviews and observations using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique using Milles and Huberman theory, namely redcing, presenting data, and concluding data. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of the four subjects to feel the benefits of BLT are different.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana peran ayah pada kehidupan remaja di Kota Pekanbaru. Masa remaja merupakan fase perkembangan yang kompleks, ditandai dengan pencarian jati diri serta peningkatan kebutuhan akan figur keteladanan dan dukungan emosional. Dalam konteks ini, peran ayah sangat penting, tidak hanya sebagai pencari nafkah tetapi juga sebagai pendidik, pelindung, dan panutan dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 206 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Instrument yang digunakan berupa kuesioner terdiri dari 45 aitem yang mencakup enam aspek peran ayah, yaitu sebagai pemimpin, penyedia kebutuhan ekonomi, pelindung, pendidik, teman bermain, dana sahabat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum peran ayah berada pada kategori sedang, yang berarti ayah telah berupaya menjalankan perannya sesuai nilai-nilai Islam. Analisis inferensial menemukan adanya perbedaan signifikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, di mana remaja perempuan memberikan penilaian lebih tinggi terhadap peran ayah dibandingkan remaja laki-laki. Namun, tidak ditemukan perbedaan signifikan pada variabel kelas, usia, pendidikan terakhir ayah, pekerjaan, penghasilan, maupun dengan siapa responden tinggal.

Abstract

​ The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on educational systems worldwide, leading to widespread school closures and disruptions to early childhood education. This situation has affected the readiness of young children to progress to higher levels of education (elementary school). This study aims to examine differences in school readiness between kindergarten student groups before and during the pandemic. A comparative study design was used, assessing 36 kindergarten students, with 10 students from each group, using the Nijmeegse Schoolbekwaamheids Test (NST). The NST consists of 10 subtests measuring various aspects of school readiness, including cognitive, social-emotional, and physical developmental skills. Statistical analyses were conducted to compare school readiness profiles between the two groups. The results showed no statistically significant differences between the pre-pandemic and post-pandemic groups in terms of overall school readiness. However, univariate analysis indicated significant differences in Subtest 3 (understanding of size, quantity, and comparison) and Subtest 4 (accuracy and detail in visual perception), where the pre-pandemic group performed better than the post-pandemic group. The effect sizes for these subtests were considerable, indicating meaningful practical differences in these two abilities. These findings highlight the impact of educational disruptions on certain aspects of school readiness and underscore the need for targeted interventions to mitigate the negative effects of the pandemic on early childhood education, especially regarding quantitative reasoning and visual perception skills.
