Abstract

This research aims to understand and describe Ibn Soubari's political strategies in his efforts to win the village head election against the incumbent in Tanjung Laut village in 2021. This study is qualitative research using primary and secondary data as sources of information. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted in Tanjung Taut village. The data analysis techniques used in this study include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that Ibn Soubari used the Personal Branding and Positioning political strategies. Personal Branding is an advantage possessed by a marketer that can shape a positive perception of oneself among the community, while Positioning, carried out by the campaign team, involves understanding the community's needs and making them the focal point before promoting their candidate along with their Vision and Mission. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi politik Ibnu Soubari dalam upaya pemenangan pemilihan Kepala Desa melawan petahana di Desa Tanjung Laut Tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder sebagai sumber data. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Tanjung Laut. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ada 4 yaitu: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimanastrategi politik Ibnu Soubari menggunakan Strategi Politik Perosnal Branding dan Positioning. Dimana Personal Branding adalah sebuah keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh seorang pemasar yang dapat membentuk pandangan positif Masyarakat terhadap dirinya sedangkan Positioning yang dilakukan oleh tim sukses yakni dengan cara memahami terlebih dahulu apa yang dibutuhkan serta menjadi pokok kebutuhan dimasyarakat, baru sesudahnya memasarkan calon mereka bersama Visi dan Misi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Pendampingan Legalitas Guru dan Unit Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran/Taman Kanak-kanak Al-Quran Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia (TPA/TKA BKPRMI) Kabupaten Ogan Ilir (Studi pada TPA/TKA Kecamatan Lubuk Keliat dan Pemulutan Selatan). Metode yang dipakai adalah metode CBR (Community Based Research) karena melibatkan stakeholders terkait. Tahapan proses penelitian dengan metode CBR ini ada 4 tahapan. Pada kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan adalah pendampingan langsung dalam penggunaan aplikasi. Sebelumnya mereka pernah mendaftar secara manual tetapi ternyata belum terdata dalam aplikasi sehingga mereka perlu input ulang tetapi dengan persyaratan-persyaratan yang telah lengkap yang mereka miliki serta telah membawa perangkat seperti laptop dan Handphone untuk mendaftar. Dalam proses pendampingan pendaftaran pada SIPDAR-PQ, terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi TPA, mulai dari yang telah daftar sebelumnya lupa password, lupa email, dan lain sebagainya. Sehingga kebermanfaatan program ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi guru dan unit sehingga lebih mudah untuk mendaftar ke SIPDAR.

Abstract

The wedding procession ceremony in the culture of the Navel village is one of the cultural products. Currently, the ceremony is still taking place in the village and is carried out by the people of West Baturaja District in the village of Pusar as one of the socio-cultural aspects. This study aims to (1) describe the wedding ceremony of the village of Pusar and, (2) analyze the local wisdom contained in the wedding ceremony of the village of Pusar. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. With the research subject, namely OKU Regency in the village of Navel. The problem of this study is the symbolic meaning in the wedding procession with the sacrifice, the slaughter of black goats in the village of Pusar, West Baturaja sub-district. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the culture of marriage processions with sacrifices, the slaughter of scapegoats was started and created from an idea, an idea that is meaningful and has its own meaning for the people of the Baturaja sub-district, especially in Pusar Village.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and analyze how local politics plays a role in managing environmental security and cleanliness in Kelurahan Sungaiselincah, Kecamatan Kalidoni, Kota Palembang. Local politics is an important instrument in regional development because it determines policy direction, inter-agency coordination, and community participation in maintaining environmental order and cleanliness. In practice, the management of security and cleanliness in Kelurahan Sungaiselincah still faces various challenges, ranging from high crime rates, lack of street lighting, lack of community participation, to suboptimal waste management. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews with village officials, RT/RW heads, and local communities; direct observation at the location; and documentation from various primary and secondary sources. Data analysis was conducted descriptively-qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that local politics plays an important role in shaping security policies and coordination through the Siskamling program and cooperation with the police. In terms of cleanliness, the kelurahan government initiated community service programs, environmental awareness campaigns, and procurement of trash bin facilities. However, the effectiveness of these policies is hampered by low community awareness, budget constraints, and weak synergies between local actors. This research emphasizes the importance of implementing collaborative governance that involves all stakeholders to create a safe, clean and sustainable environment.

Abstract

This study addresses the complex industrial conflict in Mangun Jaya Village, which arose from unilateral mass layoffs by PT. Pinago Utama. The discontent was triggered by a management change that introduced oppressive policies, the unfair implementation of a fingerprint system, the imposition of burdensome integrity pacts, inequities in compensation and facilities, and the threat of losing their sole livelihood for a community heavily reliant on plantation work. The research aimed to analyze the forms of resistance adopted by the community, identify the factors driving this resistance against PT. Pinago Utama's policies, and evaluate the role of the government in mediating the conflict. Employing a qualitative research method with a case study approach, in-depth interviews with key informants (PT. Pinago workers, ex-employees, and local community leaders) and field observations were conducted for primary data collection. Secondary data was gathered from relevant documents such as company reports and Manpower Office data, and thematic descriptive analysis was applied. The findings indicate that the community's resistance manifested as open defiance, strengthened by social solidarity among workers and support from civil society organizations and local figures. From James C. Scott's resistance theory perspective, this represents a struggle to maintain dignity, identity, and livelihood amidst an unequal power structure. The government's role, particularly through the Manpower Office, in mediating this conflict remained largely symbolic and limited to facilitation. The government tended to be neutral and passive, failing to substantively protect workers' normative rights, which highlights a lack of political will and partiality in enforcing social justice.

Abstract

This study discusses the legalization process of teachers and TPA/TKA BKPRMI units based on collaborative communication in Ogan Ilir Regency, specifically in Indralaya and North Indralaya Districts. This study uses the theory of "communicative action" by Jürgen Habermas. This theory emphasizes that communication that is free from manipulation and is consensus-oriented can build mutual trust, transforming individual interactions into effective collective collaboration. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach involving the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Ogan Ilir Regency, the People's Welfare Section of Ogan Ilir Regency, DPK BKPRMI administrators, and TPA/TKA institutions. Data were collected through interviews and observations. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of three stages: data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. Active involvement between teachers, unit administrators, and related parties plays an important role in accelerating the legalization process, from administrative processing to the issuance of operational permits. The collaborative approach encourages effective coordination, transparency, and mutual trust so that bureaucratic challenges can be overcome together. The results of this study indicate that collaborative communication in the Legalization Process for Teachers and TPA/TKA Units of the BKPRMI in Ogan Ilir Regency has been successful in realizing community empowerment. This collaboration enables more effective problem-solving in the legalization process for teachers and units and can also improve the quality of early childhood religious education services in the area.
