Abstract

During the post-Covid-19 pandemic, MSMEs began to be reluctant to get back up, after being in suspended animation during the pandemic. As is the case with community service partners who have a typical Carica beverage entrepreneur with the NSR brand located in Bawang village, Batang district, Central Java. The 3 years of non-production has caused several partner problems, including the end of PIRT legality and upgrading of HALAL certification, equipment that is no longer suitable for use because it has not been in production for a long time, and also conventional marketing problems. This third thing made the team consisting of lecturers and students carry out community service through mentoring and training methods for Carica's NSR MSME partners. With the provision of equipment assistance, assistance in HALAL management, and digital marketing training, it provides benefits for partners. After the dedication drink activity was held, the public or consumers are increasingly consuming carica with the NSR brand because in November 2022 a HALAL certificate has been issued. Then the partners have a virtual shop to market NSR Carica drinks on social media Tiktok Shop and e-commerce Shopee. With a combination of conventional marketing and digital-based marketing, the results of increasing sales and increasing number of employees are obtained.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan potensi masyarakat dengan pelatihan pembuatan kuliner berbasis Olahan Singkong (Olasi) dan budidaya jamur di Kelurahan Wonosari, Kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang ini berangkat dari keprihatinan akan kondisi masyarakat di kelurahan Wonosari, Kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang yang sebagian berada pada tingkat ekonomi yang menengah ke bawah dan berprofesi sebagai buruh pabrik. Limitansi kondisi masyarakat adalah keterbatasan lahan untuk dikembangkan, namun memiliki potensi berupa waktu luang dari sebagian warga masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Pelatihan pembuatan kuliner berbasis olahan singkong (Olasi) dan budidaya jamur dirasa tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan masyarakat karena keahlian tersebut dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, cukup mudah untuk diaplikasikan, dan tidak membutuhkan lahan yang luas untuk pengembangannya. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan pembuatan kuliner Olasi dan budidaya jamur dilakukan dengan harapan dapat memberikan keterampilan dan sebagai akibatnya meningkatkan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat Wonosari. Selain budidaya jamur sebagai keterampilan, masyarakat juga dikenalkan dengan berbagai olahan dari bahan baku jamur yang akan meningkatkan daya jual dan daya simpan jamur sebagai produk hasil budidaya jamur. Berbagai produk Olasi dan olahan jamur ini kedepannya akan dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai modal untuk pengembangan destinasi wisata kuliner yang didahului dengan penataan wilayah dan lingkungan.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of the ecological crisis requires active engagement from various institutions, including Islamic educational institutions such as pesantren, in fostering environmentally responsible behavior grounded in religious values. This study aims to analyze the role of Bustanul Ulum Mlokorejo Islamic Boarding School in responding to the ecological crisis and to examine the integration of Islamic values in shaping ecotheological awareness within the pesantren environment. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with pesantren administrators, kyai, and students, as well as document and literature analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns in the integration of religious values and ecological practices. The findings reveal that the pesantren has implemented several environmentally oriented practices, including waste management, routine communal work, independent water resource utilization, and reforestation initiatives. These practices reflect the emergence of ecological awareness rooted in Islamic values such as tauhid (oneness of God), khalifah (stewardship), amanah (trust), tawazun (balance), zuhud (simplicity), and the prohibition of fasad (destruction). However, the integration of these values remains largely implicit and has not yet been formally institutionalized within the curriculum or governance system. Furthermore, limited environmental literacy, resource constraints, and the absence of structured policies constitute major challenges in strengthening the role of pesantren as centers of ecotheological education. This study contributes to the development of Islamic ecotheology by emphasizing the importance of integrating religious values with institutional management systems in fostering sustainable ecological awareness. It also offers practical implications for developing a more systematic and structured ecotheology-based pesantren model that is responsive to contemporary environmental challenges.
