Abstract

In the teaching and learning process there is a strong interrelationship of teachers, students, curiculum, equipment and infrastructure. The teacher is to select models and media which are appropriate to the learning material and hopefully this will stimulate students interest in learning. This study of modular quantum teaching is an experimental research as an alternative to overcome teachersproblems in achieveing the learning objectives, especially in the learning of social science in elementary schools. Study was done in the Elementary Schools 06 of Cendono Kudus in 2010. The samples were taken through a cluster sampling technique and assigned into an experimental group and a control group. The data of activeness and process skills were taken through observation and achievement test. The obtained data were descriptively presented and analyzed through variant analysis. The study showed that the learning activeness of modular quantum teaching group was categorized as learning active. Meanwhile the process skills and learning activeness of expository group were categorized as skilful. Based on the test of influence, process skills, motivation and students activeness of modular quantum teaching group had 4.9% of influence and other factors had 95.1% of influence. The t-test showed different learning achievement of the two groups. The mean score of experimental group was higher than that of control group.

Abstract

This study aims to idenfify the effectiveness of cooperative leaming of Jigsaw and STAD models at elementary school students. Specifically this study aims to (i) identify the learning activities of students in Jigsaw and STAD model, and (ii) identify the effect of cooperative learning on student outcomes, and (iii) identify the effects of cooperative leaming on social skills on elementary school students. Subjects are fourth grade elementary school student of SD Sambungan 01 and 02 in Sub District of Undaan in Kudus Regency, was randomly selected through cluster sampling technique includes two experimental groups. lt consists of 20 students for STAD model and 21 students for Jigsaw model. Collecting the data in the form of student leaming outcomes conducted during the 2009.1 academic year through tests and non test. Data was analyzed using ANOVA and testing requirements through the normality test and homogeneity of variance. Data processing activities and skills gained through observation and then be processed through descriptive analysis. Research results revealed that the implementation of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw and STAD model was capable to improve student learning activities. While the use of both models show that students only skillful in capturing the concept. The value of the influence of process skills with Jigsaw model is 59.6%, and with the STAD model is 55.5%). Average yield study showed significant differences that Jigsaw model is better than STAD model. This means that the Jigsaw model is more able to improve student leaming activity compared with STAD model. It is concluded that the Jigzaw model is better than STAD model. Teachers are advised to apply Jigsaw method of cooperafive learning model as an altemative to teaching in the classroom.

Abstract

THE APPLICATION OF NATURE EXPLORATION APPROACH TO TEACH PLANTS GENERATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ABSTRACT The Nature Exploration Approach is one of innovative approaches in teaching natural science and natural study which scientifically employ natural surroundings and stimulation as learning sources with students-centered learning. The Nature Exploration Approach emphasizes a closer relationship between the students’ learning and real world life to enlarge students’ knowledge. This approach enables students to learn various concepts and relate them to real world life so that the students learning achievement is effective. This study adopts the Nature Exploration Approach and employ a one-group quasi-experiment design with a pretest and a posttest. The subjects of this research are 27 sixth-year students of Jurang 2 Elementary School at Kecatamatan Gebog of Kudus Regency. The finding shows the score of individual activeness is 85 which is categorized as very active. The learning mastery score is 88.03 of homogeneous category. Using Anova, the value of sig (=0,000) < α (=0,05 is found. Students’ Learning activeness has a linear relationship with students’ learning achievement. The score of R² ( R square) = 0,648 indicates that students’ activeness influences students’ learning achievement as much as 64.8% and other factors influence it as much as 35,2%. With the score of sig (=0,000) < α (=0,05) and the score of R² ( R square)=0,616, it indicates that process skills affect students’ achievement as much as 61,6%, and other factors influence it as much as 38,4%. Using A t-test, the t-observed of pre-test and post-test is 12.2 with sig of 0,000=0% < 5%. The findings shows that there is a significant difference between the students achievement before and after the treatment employing the Natural Exploration Approach. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketrampilan motorik di rumah dan sekolah terhadap kreatifitas anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Pertiwi Prambatan Lor Kabupaten Kudus. Subjek penelitiannya  siswa  kelompok A yang berjumlah 30 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data tes dan oobservasi. Sebelum dilakukan analis data terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Analis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian signifikansi Uji t digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)  berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 29,529 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Niali signifikansi F hitung lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Motorik di Sekolah (X1), Motorik dirumah (X2) berpengaruh terhadap kreatifitas siswa, (2) pengaruh Motorik di Sekolah terhadap kreatifitas siswa. Pengujian hipotesis pertama (H1) memiliki nilai X1= 0,850 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (sig<0,05), sehingga H1 diterima. Jadi variabel Motorik di Sekolah berpengaruh positif pada kreatifitas siswa. (3) pengaruh Motorik di rumah terhadap kreatifitas siswa. Pengujian hipotesis pertama (H1) memiliki nilai X2= 0,110 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (sig<0,05), sehingga H1 diterima. Jadi variabel Motorik di siswa berpengaruh positif pada kreatifitas siswa.

Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan proses mental yang unik, suatu proses yang semata-mata dilakukan untuk menghasilkan sesuatu yang baru, berbeda dan orisinal. kreativitas dapat berkembang jika ada “press” atau pendorong, baik dari dalam maupun dari luar individu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas   penerapan permainan berbasis kecerdasan majemuk  terhadap peningkatan  kreativitas  pada anak usia dini  di TK Kaliwungu kabupaten Kudus. Penelitian   dilakukan   pada tahun pelajaran  2016, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 30  anak. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi ekperimen  atau eksperimen semu dengan  One Groupdesain pre test – post testPengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman observasi dan tes perbuatan. Sedangkan metode analisis data  menggunakan uji beda analisis Uji t, yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas data dan homogenitas varian, dilanjutkan uji linier regresi sederhana.Hasil penelitian diperoleh rerata pada saat sebelum diberi perlakuan sebesar 71 dan setelah perlakuan sebesar 86,500.   Dengan demikian ada  perbedaan rerata antara  rerata antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Uji beda  diperoleh skor  0,047. Maka dapat ditarik suatu kesimpulan bahawa penerapan permainan berbasis kecerdasan majemuk dapat meningkatkan kreativitas pada anak usia dini di TK    Kaliwungu Kudus.Uji regresi diperoleh  skor 0,372, dengan demikian disimpulkN Bhwa penerapan permainan berbasis kecerdasan majemuk berpengaruh 37,2% terhadap kenaikan kreativitas anak, dan masih ada 63,8% pengaruh dari variabel lain.Kata-kata kunci: kecerdasan majemuk, anak usia dini, kreativitas.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to test how science learning can measure the congenital development of early childhood. So from these problems, researchers need to know whether the implementation of science-based learning has an effect and can improve early childhood cognitive development in RA Nurul Yasin, Kudus Regency.  The sample of this study was 17 early childhood children in RA Nurul Yasin, Mejobo District, Kudus Regency in 2022. The design of experimental research was explored using activity experiments with observations. The analysis used is the analysis of different tests before and after the experiment.  The results showed that there was an influence of 0. 411 with a sig of 0.128. This indicates an increase in the ability of cognitive abilities after being given treatment.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the learning media product specifications based on Video Scribe Whiteboard Animation in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and product attractiveness for the tutors and students. The applied method was testing the distinguishing power with the non-primary school education students of the Opened University at UPBJJ Semarang, exactly in Pati Learning Group by using the applied media for the students who took the scientific article writing course. They were explored with questionnaire. The applied data analysis was distinguishing power with stratified experimental test for the students and the field test for the non-primary education students. The results showed the product specification development was valid. It was indicated by all indicators that provided valid and reliable criteria. Secondly, the applied media was effective based on the obtained percentage, 80%. It showed most students understood the video materials and they understood the content from the media. This result was found both in pretest and posttest groups. Third, there was the influence of Video Scribe Whiteboard Animation-based learning media toward the scientific article writing material understanding. The research limitations were such as the difficulties to control the respondents while filling the questionnaire. It was because the questionnaire was filled simultaneously by the students so the results would have bias risks.

Abstract

Melihat realita yang terjadi di masyarakat, masih ditemukan penyelenggaraan pendidikan anak yang belum sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak. Hal ini dikarenakan pemahaman yang terbatas dari pengelola maupun pengajar tentang perkembangan anak. Berbekal dengan kesadaran akan arti pentingnya pendidikan anak usia dini, maka dosen di UPBJJ UT Semarang melakukan Pelatihan Mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran Bagi Guru TK/PAUD se Kecamatan Limbangan Kabupaten Kendal guna memenuhi kebutuhan layanan pendidikan anak usia dini di lembaga-lembaga PAUD yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan perkembangan anak sekaligus meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Tahapan kegiatan: 1) survei lokasi/perijinan, 2) Pelatihan secara teori 3) pelatihan secara praktek dan 4) monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil monitoring dengan memberikan kuesioner pada peserta diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: merasa senang dengan kegiatan PkM ini, materi menarik, mudah dilakukan, dan bahan mudah di dapatkan, bermanfaat bagi guru siswa.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan potensi masyarakat dengan pelatihan pembuatan kuliner berbasis Olahan Singkong (Olasi) dan budidaya jamur di Kelurahan Wonosari, Kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang ini berangkat dari keprihatinan akan kondisi masyarakat di kelurahan Wonosari, Kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang yang sebagian berada pada tingkat ekonomi yang menengah ke bawah dan berprofesi sebagai buruh pabrik. Limitansi kondisi masyarakat adalah keterbatasan lahan untuk dikembangkan, namun memiliki potensi berupa waktu luang dari sebagian warga masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Pelatihan pembuatan kuliner berbasis olahan singkong (Olasi) dan budidaya jamur dirasa tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan masyarakat karena keahlian tersebut dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, cukup mudah untuk diaplikasikan, dan tidak membutuhkan lahan yang luas untuk pengembangannya. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan pembuatan kuliner Olasi dan budidaya jamur dilakukan dengan harapan dapat memberikan keterampilan dan sebagai akibatnya meningkatkan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat Wonosari. Selain budidaya jamur sebagai keterampilan, masyarakat juga dikenalkan dengan berbagai olahan dari bahan baku jamur yang akan meningkatkan daya jual dan daya simpan jamur sebagai produk hasil budidaya jamur. Berbagai produk Olasi dan olahan jamur ini kedepannya akan dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai modal untuk pengembangan destinasi wisata kuliner yang didahului dengan penataan wilayah dan lingkungan. Â
