Abstract

Almost all industrial establishments have thought that increasing quality requires high production costs. But there is another opinion stating that the quality can lower costs if the company applies the correct management, including by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM is a way to improve performance on an ongoing basis at every level of operation or process using all human resources and capital available. Efficiency is the appropriateness ways to run something by not wasting time, effort and cost. The concept of TQM can bring a positive effect on improving the quality and cost savings. The production process is attention to quality will produce a product that is free from damage or failure, so the company will avoid waste or loss. This research was conducted at PT. Indo Pacific Packing Lamongan is located in the district of Lamongan Kembangbahu. The purpose of this study was to investigate the application of TQM in PT. Indo Pacific Packing and determine the cost effectiveness of production before and after implementation of TQM, by comparing the efficiency before and after the application of TQM. In conducting this research method used is a method of study on PT. Indo Pacific Packing Lamongan. From the results of this study showed that an increase in efficiency by 2.08% after the implementation of TQM and some activities are in accordance with the main elements of TQM. Thus the application of TQM in the company has been run well and have an influence on the efficiency of the production costs. Suggestions author of the company's successful implementation of TQM in the company should not make the management of PT. Indo Pacific Packing feel satisfied, and so maintained even increased further.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of collateralizable assets, liquidity, profitability, and company growth on the dividend policy. This research was the quantitative method. Furthermore, the research population used LQ 45 companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2016-2020 period. by purposive sampling method, it obtained 17 LQ 45 companies with 85 observations. Moreover, the research analysis technique used multiple linear regressions analysis. This research used the purposive sampling method, a sample selection with determining criteria. This research concluded that: (1) Collateralizable Assets did not affect the dividend policy, (2) Liquidity had a positive effect on the dividend policy, (3) Profitability showed a positive effect on the dividend policy. (4) Company’s Growth did not affect the dividend policy.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of tax amnesty and Samsat online on the taxpayers’ obedience in paying the tax vehicle. While, the tax amnesty is one of the government policies in encouraging taxpayers who are late in paying their tax vehicle by giving no sanction toward their out of date payment. Meanwhile, Samsat online is one of the new breakthrough systems in having tax vehicle payment in every Samsat offices within one province. The data is primary data, taken from questionnaires which were distributed to one hundred students of STIESIA including Diploma Three, Strata One, Strata Two and Strata Three education levels. Moreover, the data collection technique used Accidental Sampling, in which the sample was chosen accidentally among respondents by the researcher. From the research results, it concluded the tax amnesty had significant effect on taxpayers’ obedience in paying the tax vehicle, because taxpayers’ who are in arrears feel that they are given relief without being subject to fines so that they are enthusiastic about paying their taxes immediately. On the other hand, Samsat online had insignificant effect on the taxpayers’ obedience in paying the tax vehicle, because there are still the taxpayers’ who do not understand how to pay taxes online.

Abstract

The purpose of community service carried out through counseling and assistance in handling complaints at PT Cipta Daya Gemilang Surabaya is to further improve the quality of marketing personnel in handling complaints at the company. The company here will be introduced to how to take steps in dealing with complaints that occur against the company. The method of implementing activities through four stages, namely preparation, counseling on complaint handling materials, monitoring and evaluation. The results of this activity show that there are still many step-by-step observations that must be addressed by this company to further improve the quality of salespeople in finding and maintaining existing customers.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by low financial literacy and minimal use of digital technology in marketing strategies by MSMEs in the home industry sector in Kebonsari Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. The main problems include financial records that do not follow SAK EMKM, conventional word-of-mouth marketing, and a low understanding of the importance of internet-based marketing strategies. This activity aims to improve the competence of MSME partners in financial management and marketing through community education and direct training. The implementation method consists of socialization, counseling, and hands-on training that is applicable and tailored to partners' needs. The main work of this activity is in the form of a financial recording training module, according to SAK EMKM, a simple financial report template, and offline and online marketing strategy materials, including the use of the marketplace. The impact of the activity includes changes in business behavior towards a more professional pattern, the use of the internet in promotion, and the emergence of awareness of the importance of systematic financial management. The conclusion of this activity confirms that training based on the real needs of partners, with an applicable and participatory approach, can directly increase business capacity and community economic growth.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya literasi keuangan dan minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh pelaku UMKM sektor industri rumahan di Desa Kebonsari, Kecamatan Candi, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Permasalahan utama meliputi pencatatan keuangan yang belum sesuai dengan SAK EMKM, pemasaran konvensional dari mulut ke mulut, serta rendahnya pemahaman akan pentingnya strategi pemasaran berbasis internet. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi mitra UMKM dalam pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran melalui pendidikan masyarakat dan pelatihan langsung. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri atas sosialisasi, penyuluhan, serta hands-on training yang aplikatif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mitra. Karya utama dari kegiatan ini berupa modul pelatihan pencatatan keuangan sesuai SAK EMKM, template laporan keuangan sederhana, serta materi strategi pemasaran offline dan online, termasuk pemanfaatan marketplace. Dampak kegiatan mencakup perubahan perilaku usaha menuju pola yang lebih profesional, penggunaan internet dalam promosi, serta munculnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang sistematis. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan nyata mitra, dengan pendekatan aplikatif dan partisipatif, mampu meningkatkan kapasitas usaha dan pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat secara langsung.

Abstract

The purpose of fostering women in rural areas in the form of productive economic business training for women homeworkers carried out by the Lamongan Regency Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service is to improve the economy and family welfare. This productive economic business training was attended by 75 participants consisting of: 1) Women homeworkers, and 2) Women cadres. The method of implementing the training was carried out by the lecture method, and question and answer. The results of the productive economic business training for women homeworkers: 1) The training participants have shown a desire to manage productive economic enterprises at the family and group level in their respective villages and or sub-districts, and 2) Participants are also enthusiastic about knowing and implementing strategies proper marketing for business continuity.
