Abstract

Olahraga tradisional merupakan permainan yang dihasilkan oleh tradisi masyarakat sekitar karena di dasarkan oleh alam, budaya, dan kultur masyarakat. Olahraga tradisional Paku Sukha khas Kabupaten Lampung Barat Provinsi Lampung sudah mulai terlupakan oleh generasi muda saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merevitaliasi olahraga tradisional Paku Sukha di Kabupaten Lampung Barat yang sudah mulai terlupakan oleh generasi muda. Penelitian kualitatif tentang olahraga tradisional "Paku Sukha" di Kecamatan Belalau, Kabupaten Lampung Barat, Provinsi Lampung, dengan sumber data berupa wawancara dan data tertulis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pengamatan langsung pada objek peneltian , wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data penulis menggunakan beberapa cara diantaranya: (1) reduksi data. (2) penyajian data, dan (3) verifikasi data atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sejarah olahraga tradisional Paku Sukha dijumpai khususnya didaerah Lampung Barat yang berada didaratan kecamatan Belalau. Olahraga tradisonal Paku Sukha tercipta berdasarkan kebiasaan masyarakat setelah pulang bekerja mereka inisiatif membuat permainan yang berasal dari sumber daya alam sekitar yaitu sejenis tumbuhan pakis/paku lalu ditambahkan dengan Injang (Kain Sarung), net dan lapangan sebagai media bermainnya. pemain olahraga tradisional Paku Sukha dalam satu tim terdiri dari lima orang pemain. empat orang pemain bertugas memegang dua Injang (Kain Sarung), membentuk dua pasang di dalam lapangan permainan. Sementara itu, satu orang lainnya bertugas sebagai pelempar bola, yang melemparkan bola kepada salah satu pemain di dalam lapangan pada awal permainan dan saat mengumpulkan hasil bola dari poin yang akan didapat. Setiap kelompok harus mencapai poin sembilan agar bisa memenangkan permainan.AbstractTraditional sports are games that are produced by the traditions of the surrounding community because they are based on nature, culture and the culture of the community. The traditional sport of Paku Sukha, typical of West Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, has begun to be forgotten by today's young generation. The aim of this research is to revitalize the traditional sport of Paku Sukha in West Lampung Regency which has begun to be forgotten by the younger generation. Qualitative research on the traditional sport "Paku Sukha" in Belalau District, West Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, with data sources in the form of interviews and written data. The data collection techniques used are direct observation of the research object, interviews and documentation. To analyze the data the author used several methods including: (1) data reduction. (2) data presentation, and (3) data verification or drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the history of the traditional sport Paku Sukha is found especially in the West Lampung area which is on the mainland of Belalau sub-district. The traditional sport of Paku Sukha was created based on people's habits after returning home from work, they took the initiative to make games that came from the surrounding natural resources, namely a type of fern/fern plant and then added Injang (Song Cloth), a net and a field as playing media. Paku Sukha traditional sports players in a team consisting of five players. Four players are tasked with holding two Injang (cloth sarongs), forming two pairs on the playing field. Meanwhile, another person serves as the ball thrower, who throws the ball to one of the players on the field at the start of the game and when collecting the ball results from the points that will be obtained. Each group must reach nine points in order to win the game.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a traditional game model adapted to the characteristics of students with special needs to improve their quality of life in Special Needs Schools. The research method used is Research and Development by adapting the Borg & Gall model that has been modified simply. The research subjects involved students from various levels of education in special needs schools. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, as well as limited and extensive trials of the developed traditional game models. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively to assess aspects of feasibility, implementation, and the impact of the game on students' quality of life. The results of expert validation of the four game models showed a maximum achievement of 100%. This confirms that the four game models are considered very suitable for application to students with special needs. Meanwhile, based on the World Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire which consists of 26 questions and covers four domains of quality of life assessment. The physical domain is 40% in the good category, 60% in the sufficient category. The psychological domain, 40% is in the very good category, 33% in the good category, 27% in the sufficient category. In the social domain, 27% were in the excellent category, 46% in the good category, and 27% in the fair category. In the environmental domain, 33% were in the excellent category, 34% in the good category, and 33% in the fair category. Overall, the findings of this study demonstrate that the traditional game model is effective in supporting the improvement of the quality of life of students with special needs in special needs schools.
