Abstract

 Farming in the dry season is a difficult job to do, because it is constrained by the limited availability of water. This situation occurred in the village of Pasirnanjung which caused agricultural activities to cease. In order that agriculture can continue to run, a micro-scale agricultural mitigation can be applied during dry-season by planting in polybags based on bokhasi fertilizer in the yard of the house. Bokashi is an organic material that can improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil, that has an effect on plants growth and yield. Empowerment of farmers have been carried out in Pasirnanjung village, from August to September 2018, by the methode of counseling, training, demonstration and planting. The participants were joined by 14 groups, 11 farmer groups, 1 Putra Karya Sejahtera Youth Group, 1 Mawar Lestari Women's Farmers Group and 1 Nanjung Jaya Gapoktan Group. Training materials include preparation of tools and materials, seedling of vegetable seeds, making bokashi, preparation of planting media, planting, cultivating and harvesting. As a result, each group can make bokashi and can grow vegetables in a polybag in their yard during the dry season. This activity will have a good impact on the acceleration of the realization the village government program to make agricultural education village and ecovillage.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap toksikologi lingkungan melalui kegiatan bersih sungai dan edukasi menggunakan poster di Jalan Lasitarda, Kelurahan Kambu, Kota Kendari. Sebanyak 11 mahasiswa berpartisipasi dalam membersihkan area sungai dari limbah organik dan anorganik serta menyebarkan poster edukatif yang memberikan informasi tentang pengelolaan limbah. Meskipun tanpa keterlibatan langsung masyarakat, kegiatan ini berhasil menciptakan dampak positif terhadap kesadaran lingkungan. Upaya berkelanjutan melalui kegiatan yang melibatkan masyarakat diperlukan untuk memastikan perubahan perilaku yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran PPKn serta dampaknya terhadap hasil belajar di SMK Negeri 2 Kolaka. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap siswa kelas XI Teknik Permesinan serta guru mata pelajaran PPKn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi siswa yang rendah disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor internal seperti rendahnya minat belajar, kurangnya konsentrasi, dan hambatan psikologis (malu, takut salah, rendah percaya diri), serta faktor eksternal seperti metode ceramah yang monoton, lingkungan kelas yang tidak mendukung, dan kurangnya fasilitas. Kondisi ini berdampak langsung pada pencapaian hasil belajar yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan partisipatif, seperti model Problem Based Learning dan Student Teams Achievement Division. Kontribusi dari studi ini terletak pada fokusnya terhadap konteks pendidikan kejuruan di daerah, yang masih jarang dikaji,serta memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran PPKn di SMK.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges faced by Indonesia’s correctional system in fulfilling the rights of inmates with disabilities through a case study of Agus Buntung, a disabled inmate experiencing accessibility difficulties at Class IIA Kuripan Prison. Although Law No. 40 of 2008 and related government regulations stipulate rights to accessibility and inclusive rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, implementation in prisons remains inadequate. Limited infrastructure, insufficient assistive devices, and a lack of inclusive rehabilitation programs cause inmates like Agus to experience isolation and obstacles in participating in correctional programs. These issues hinder the achievement of rehabilitation goals aimed at preparing inmates for reintegration into society. This research employs a normative legal method with a statutory approach to analyze the fulfillment of accessibility rights, the implementation of inclusive rehabilitation programs, and the barriers encountered. The findings highlight the need for comprehensive reforms, including facility improvements, enhanced staff capacity, and more specific regulations to create a more inclusive and just correctional system for inmates with disabilities. These results are intended to inform policy recommendations that uphold human rights and support effective rehabilitation for disabled inmates.
