Abstract

Abstract

Land registration is a form of land administration regulated in the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA). As stated in the UUPA, land registration must be carried out because the purpose of land registration is very beneficial for land rights holders. However, there are still individuals who have not completed the land registration process in Sinarmukti Village. This is an unorganized form of land administration. Many factors cause the absence of orderly land administration, one of which is the lack of public understanding of agrarian laws and regulations, especially regarding land registration which is one component of land administration. Many problems may arise if land registration is not carried out; for example, a common problem in Indonesia is disagreement (land disputes). Land disputes continue to occur; one of the causes is the irregularity of land administration in the past. This problem can happen anywhere and can appear in the Sinarmukti Village community. Therefore, agricultural law counseling activities are carried out to increase public understanding of agrarian law, especially the orderly land administration with land registration. These activities are carried out through the use of an online seminar system or webinars. The general public can follow the guidelines from the webinars so that the public becomes aware and knows about land administration

Abstract

Legal protection for children who are perpetrators of criminal acts is in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Child Criminal Justice System (SPPA). Children as perpetrators of criminal acts require special treatment due to their immature status legally and psychologically. The main objective of the SPPA Law is to ensure that the legal process against children is carried out with the principles of restorative justice and a diversion approach, so as to minimize the negative impact on the child's future. The research method used is the normative juridical method, with a legislative approach and case analysis. The results showed that the SPPA Law provides legal protection to children through diversion mechanisms at every stage of the judicial process, restrictions on sentencing, and the obligation to involve Bapas (Correctional Center) in the judicial process. However, in its implementation, there are still challenges such as the lack of understanding of law enforcement officials on the concept of restorative justice and limited supporting facilities. In conclusion, legal protection for child offenders has been comprehensively regulated in the SPPA Law, but it requires capacity building of law enforcement officials and infrastructure support to optimize the implementation of restorative justice. Thus, the rights of children as individuals who require special protection can be guaranteed and maximally accommodated. The solution implemented is the restructuring of child protection laws to be more specific in handling them

Abstract

The trade war between major economies, particularly the United States and China, has created new dynamics in the global trade system. Tariff policies imposed by these countries have reshaped global supply chains, altered industrial cost structures, and disrupted export–import flows across multiple sectors. This study has aimed to analyze the effects of tariff policies within the context of the trade war on the industrial sector and international trade, and to examine their implications for economic policy strategies in developing economies. A descriptive–comparative method has been employed, utilizing secondary data from international institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, and WTO covering the period 2015–2024. The analysis has focused on the development of tariff levels, export–import values, and the industrial sector’s contribution to gross domestic product (GDP). The findings have shown that protectionist tariff policies have tended to suppress export performance, increase production costs, and widen trade deficits. However, countries that have strengthened industrial productivity and diversified export markets have proven more resilient. These results highlight the importance of adaptive, competitiveness-oriented trade policies amid global uncertainty.
