Abstract

Pengelolaan arsip adalah hal penting yang untuk urusan surat menyurat atau bisnis. Pengarsipan merupakan keharusan apalagi di dunia modern. Pengarsipan berjalan sejak dahulu. Untuk saat ini pengarsipan tidak perlu dengan menyalin tulisan menggunakan tangan namun hanya perlu mengkopi pada komputer dan menjaga ile agar tetap berada pada tempat yang mudah dicari. Pengarsipan modern terutama elektronik perlu dikuasai.. Perangkat desa Padamara dan desa sekitar membutuhkan ilmu itu untuk dapat melaksanakan pelayanan masyarakat dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Kekayaan alam yang terpampang nyata berupa kesuburan tanah yang tinggi di Desa Padamara merupakan salah satu aset berharga sekaligus kunci yang dapat digunakan untuk memaksimalkan pengembangan potensi di Desa. Salah satunya dengan melakukan Diversifikasi pertanian sebagai usaha penganekaragaman jenis usaha atau tanaman pertanian untuk menghindari ketergantungan pada salah satu pertanian. Hal demikian sudah direalisasikan oleh masyarakat Desa Padamara. Salah satu buktinya adalah dengan adanya taman edukasi sebagai bentuk upaya salah seorang masyarakat desa padamara dalam memanfaatkan lahan yang kosong. Selain dari keunggulan di bagian kuantitas kayunya pohon jati juga dikenal sebagai pohon yang dapat mengatur suhu, sehingga memungkinkan untuk tetap sejuk di musim panas dan tetap hangat di musim dingin. Sehingga sangat berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai area eduwisata yang dapat digunakan untuk berwisata dengan nuansa alam sekaligus dapat sebagai tempat edukasi atau tempat berlangsungnya pembelajaran. Taman edukasi ini dirancang dengan menambahkan ornamen-ornamen yang tentunya dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak, sehingga anak-anak dapat belajar sambil bermain dan tercipta suasana belajar yang menyenangkan.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan karena malnutrisi yang terjadi pada anak-anak berusia di bawah lima tahun (Rahayu, Pamungkasari, Wekadigunawan 2018). Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh ada sejumlah 18 anak terindikasi stunting di Desa Padamara. Adapun penyebab terjadinya stunting adalah rendahnya derajat kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan yang mana hal ini dapat dilihat dari prilaku pola hidup bersih dan sehat, kemudian kurangnya sarana masyarakat untuk mengetahui informasi penting mengenai stunting serta kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat akan pentingnya kebutuhan nutrisi yang baik sebelum dan pada masa kehamilan serta setelah ibu melahirkan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai makanan dengan pola gizi seimbang, yaitu dengan melakukan demonstrasi masak. Demonstrasi masak yang dilakukan menggunakan ikan tongkol sebagai bahan utamanya. Olahan yang dibuat dalam demonstrasi ini adalah nugget ikan tongkol. Ikan tongkol memiliki manfaat dan nilai gizi yang tinggi salah satunya omega-3 yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan fungsi otak pada bayi dan melindungi dari berbagai masalah kesehaan mental. Pengolahan ikan tongkol menjadi nugget ini bertujuan agar anak-anak dapat lebih tertarik dan berminat untuk mengkonsumsinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan demonstrasi masak makanan sehat sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting di Desa Padamara yaitu pertama observasi, kedua wawancara dan ketiga evaluasi.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan karena berangkat dari fakta masih cukup banyak mahasiswa magister bidang pendidikan Pascasarjana Universitas Mataram (Unram) belum mampu mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya (tesis) pada jurnal ilmiah nasional terakreditasi atau internasional. Oleh karenanya, tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membantu mahasiswa magister bidang pendidikan dalam melakukan swasunting artikel ilmiahnya sehingga layak untuk diterbitkan. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan skenario implementasinya, meliputi: persiapan, pelatihan, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi, dan  pelaporan hasil. Proses dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan andragogis yang mengedepankan dialog dan praktik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum mahasiswa memiliki kompetensi terkait cara dan substansi tulisan yang akan dimuat dalam  jurnal ilmiah. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 6 (enam) draft artikel yang sudah tersusun dan sudah memenuhi unsur kelayakan untuk publis, meskipun masih terdapat kesalahan-kesalahan minor. Implikasinya bahwa proses pelatihan dan pendampingan yang mengedepankan dialog dan praktik menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa menghasilkan karya ilmiah.

Abstract

The emerging of the AI-generated Machine Translation or Neural Machine Translation has continued the role of translator to conduct adequate post-editing for the NMT. This research is aimed to analyze the ability of English Education Department Students of University of Mataram in conducting post-editing of narrative text for Google Translate, one of widely known NMTs. The data was collected through CMC, they are the Interpreting and Translation class students’ worksheet of post-edited narrative text which previously was translated by GT. The data then were analyzed using few theories Baker’s textual equivalence theory, and harmonized metric of quality translation. Through the analyzation result, it could be inferred that most students are able to identify which sentences generated by GNMT that require post-editing and which that do not. Most of sentences left unedited by students are proven well-translated by the GNMT. Regardless, some sentences indeed still need to be post-edited after input to the GNMT, as it seems GNMT still struggles to translate well some phrases or terms that related to the culture of the language. Most students in the Translation and Interpreting class at the University of Mataram have proven their ability to identify and correct errors in GNMT-generated sentences through post-editing. This research is hoped to offer valuable insights for both education and translation and serves as a useful reference for readers seeking comprehension in this field

Abstract

This community service was conducted to assist the English teachers at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Model Mataram (SDNMM) adapt and adopt the Common European Framework (CEFR) for Languages into the English Curriculum of the school. The activity involved all English teachers at the school (11 teachers) and the assistance was conducted for one week. The adaptation and adoption processes were completed in four stages: (1) mapping out the core competencies of the CEFR for English primary and the core competences of the SDNMM English curriculum, (2) aligning the core competences of English in the school curriculum, (3) modifying the SDNMM English Curriculum. Some factors which inform the reducement and addition of the competences include (1) the students’ existing competencies, (2) teachers’ teaching competencies, (3) the available reseources at the school, and (4) the school vision and mission.

Abstract

This study aims to Analyze and Categorize the types of category shift that occur in the English version of Indonesian Song’s lyrics covered by Emma Heesters. This research was Descriptive Qualitative Research method and catford (1965)translation shift theory was caried in this study . The sample of this research was the lyrics which consist in 7 Song’s of her cover . The data of the research take on Emma Heester Youtube chanel. Based on Catford''s theory as the foundation of this reserach , a total of 189 data were found across 7 songs covered by Emma Heesters. Structure Shift emerged significantly, reaching 20.11%, Intra System Shift, representing 15.87%, . Conversely, Class Shift appeared with the lowest frequency at 5.82%,. Among the identified categories, Unit Shift emerged as the most dominant, constituting 58.20% of the dataset. In summary, the study revealed the dominance of Unit Shift in these translations, highlighting the complexity of adapting song lyrics, including stylistic, rhyme and rhythm consideration and emotional elements, to a different language.

Abstract

Cultural difference pose challenges for machine translation as it’s challenging to find equivalent words to convey cultural concepts. Therefore, this research conducted to find out the accuracy level of two popular machine translation namely Chat-GPT and Google Translate in translating Culture-specific Items from the bilingual description of historical heritage at Museum Negeri Nusa Tenggara Barat. Using HTER by Snover (2006), researcher try to find the level of accuracy of the MT. After long analysis of the accuracy of MT namely Chat-GPT and GT using the HTER theory by Snover, researcher found that between Chat-GPT and GT almost play accurate with the presentation 99.94% and 99.93% while the error rate for Chat-GPT is 0.06% while GT is 0.07%. Furthermore, the quality index (TQI) of the MTs are in the same range, which is EXCELLENT.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of the Wordwall platform as an interactive medium for enhancing vocabulary learning among fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Jeringo. The study was driven by changes introduced through the 13 Curriculum, which resulted in the elimination of English lessons in early grades and limited access to adequate learning tools. Since 2022, the Merdeka Curriculum has been implemented, reintroducing the English subject to elementary school students. The Merdeka Curriculum is an educational reform introduced by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) in 2022. This curriculum marks a transition toward a more adaptable, learner-focused, and skills-oriented approach to teaching and learning. SDN 1 Jeringo, as one of the Sekolah Penggerak, has started reintroducing English through the Merdeka Curriculum in grades 3 and 5, although students still struggle due to insufficient resources and prior exposure. A pre-experimental research design with a one-group pretest-posttest model was conducted involving 26 students. Vocabulary tests created using the Wordwall platform were administered before and after the intervention. The activities included matching games and picture-word association tasks, conducted in three sessions over three days. The average vocabulary score increased significantly from 60.77 (pretest) to 83.46 (posttest), with a practical gain of 22.69 points. The normality of the data was confirmed using the Shapiro-Wilk test. A paired sample t-test, performed in SPSS 26, showed a statistically significant improvement (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that Wordwall is an effective, engaging, and accessible tool for vocabulary learning in primary education, especially in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum.
