Abstract

Pada tahun 1980an, Pulau Tanakeke memiliki kawasan ekosistem mangrove seluas kurang lebih 1.770 hektar. Namun, dalam kurun 1980an-2000an, luasan tersebut berkurang hingga 60 persen akibat dari pemanfaatan yang tidak terkendali oleh masyarakat sehingga terjadi perubahan lingkungan. Tulisan ini bertujuan mengkaji posisi sumber daya mangrove terhadap pengelolaan saat ini dengan mengestimasi nilai manfaat dan kerugian yang diterima masyarakat dari adanya pemanfaatan mangrove. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui metode survei dengan 40 responden pemanfaat mangrove. Analisis data menggunakan teknik valuasi ekonomi sumber daya alam dan lingkungan. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai manfaat ekonomi ekosistem mangrove masih lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai kerugian yang timbul. Hasil analisis tersebut berimplikasi pada dua hal: 1) yaitu di satu sisi membuktikan bahwa ekosistem mangrove di Pulau Tanakeke memberikan kontribusi ekonomi yang cukup besar bagi masyarakat, 2) tetapi di sisi lain, nilai manfaat yang cukup besar tersebut dapat menjadi insentif bagi masyarakat untuk semakin ekspansif mengeksploitasi ekosistem mangrove sehingga dapat menjadi peluang ancaman bagi kelestarian ekosistem mangrove di Pulau Tanakeke apabila tidak dikelola dengan seksama.Title: Analysis of Benefits and Losses Value of Mangrove Ecosystem Uses in Tanakeke Island, South SulawesiIn the 1980s, Tanakeke Island had around 1,770 hectares of mangrove area. However, within a period of time 1980s-2000s, this area has reduced nearly 60 percent due to uncontrolled utilization by community resulting in environmental changes. This study aims to examine the position of mangrove resource towards existing management by estimating benefits and losses of mangrove utilization. Primary data were collected through a survey from 40 respondents of mangrove beneficiaries. Data were analysed using the resource and enviromental economic valuation techniques. The results indicate that the total economic value of mangrove ecosystem is greater than the losses value. This finding led to two implications: on one side, it is proved that the mangrove ecosystem in Tanakeke Island gives economic contribution in a considerable amount to the community. However, on the other side, this high value of benefits leads to an increasing exploitation of the mangrove ecosystem. Therefore, this condition could be a threat to the sustainability of mangrove ecosystem in Tanakeke Island if it is not managed carefully

Abstract

Introduction: Banks are responding to environmental concerns by adopting green banking practices. Financial institutions such as Sharia banking can contribute to sustainable development that meets current and future needs. Furthermore, the banking industry can play a role in balancing the economy and the environment. The customer onboarding service facilitates quick and precise transactions. Research Methods: This research analyzes the implementation of the customer onboarding service at Bank Muamalat Indonesia Ponorogo Head Office (BMI KCP Ponorogo) in support of green banking. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The primary data source used includes interviews, documentation, and observation. Results: The research findings indicate that customer onboarding at BMI KCP Ponorogo supports green banking through online transactions. BMI KCP Ponorogo implements customer onboarding as its commitment to conducting healthy operational activities in line with the principles of green banking and the requirements of Bank Indonesia. Conclusion: Customers benefit from customer onboarding as it makes the transaction process more effective and efficient, providing flexible access while supporting the green economy for sustainable development.

Abstract

Abstract: When a borrower fails to repay a bank loan on time, it creates a financing problem. Islamic banking faces similar issues, where borrowers may struggle to repay their loans on schedule. One example is KUR (micro-credit program) financing at the Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Kartoharjo Madiun Branch Office, where some borrowers have fallen behind on their KUR loans due to unstable economic conditions. This research analyzes the handling strategies and causes of problematic KUR financing at the BSI Kartoharjo Madiun Branch Office to address this issue. The study uses a qualitative approach, conducting field research and interviewing borrowers and BSI Kartoharjo Madiun Branch Office representatives. The analytical method used is the triangulation method. The study reveals that the best way to avoid problematic KUR financing at the BSI Kartoharjo Madiun Branch Office is to provide billing letters, visit borrowers at their residences, offer withdrawal letters, and allow for restructuring or rescheduling. The primary causes of problematic KUR financing are unexpected events like natural disasters or illness and business decline or loss. Abstrak: Ketika peminjam gagal membayar kembali pinjaman bank tepat waktu, hal ini menimbulkan masalah pembiayaan. Perbankan syariah juga menghadapi masalah serupa, dimana peminjam mungkin kesulitan membayar kembali pinjamannya tepat waktu. Salah satu contohnya adalah pembiayaan KUR di Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Kantor Cabang Kartoharjo Madiun, dimana beberapa peminjam mengalami tunggakan pinjaman KUR karena kondisi perekonomian yang tidak stabil. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi penanganan dan penyebab pembiayaan KUR bermasalah di Kantor Cabang BSI Kartoharjo Madiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu melakukan penelitian lapangan dan mewawancarai peminjam dan perwakilan BSI Kantor Cabang Kartoharjo Madiun. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode triangulasi. Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa cara terbaik untuk menghindari pembiayaan KUR bermasalah di Kantor Cabang BSI Kartoharjo Madiun adalah dengan memberikan surat penagihan, mengunjungi peminjam di tempat tinggalnya, menawarkan surat penarikan, dan memungkinkan dilakukannya restrukturisasi atau penjadwalan ulang. Penyebab utama pembiayaan KUR bermasalah adalah kejadian yang tidak terduga seperti bencana alam atau penyakit, serta penurunan atau kerugian usaha.
