This paper examines the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) fatwa in responding and tackling the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia using the Maqashid Sharia perspective. Maqashid Sharia is the objective of Islam contained in every enforcement of religious rules. The approach used is juridical-phenomenological. Juridically, a fatwa can be an alternative law in dealing with the spread of COVID-19. The phenomenological approach seeks and discovers the meaning of essential phenomena regarding handling COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. The result shows that Maqashid Sharia applied in the MUI fatwa in avoiding COVID-19 appear in four aspects: First, maintaining health and avoiding everything that may cause exposure to the disease. Second, people affected by the COVID-19 disease are obliged to isolate themselves so that transmission does not occur to others. Third, it prohibits activities involving public gatherings and worship at home to break the chain of distribution of the COVID-19 virus. Fourth, prohibit all actions that cause panic and cause public harm, such as buying up and hoarding necessities, hand sanitizers, and hoarding masks. These four aspects relating to the Maquashid Sharia, follow its core values, which ultimately guard the soul.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi nilai-nilai Nahdlatul Tujjar dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat melalui program-program Lembaga Sosial Pesantren Tebuireng (LSPT). Dengan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk memahami peran LSPT dalam pengelolaan zakat produktif, pengembangan UMKM, dan optimalisasi wakaf produktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LSPT berhasil mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi Islam seperti keadilan, amanah, dan keberkahan dalam aktivitas pemberdayaan ekonomi. Program-program LSPT memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat sekitar pesantren, menciptakan ekosistem usaha berbasis pesantren yang berkelanjutan, serta memperkuat posisi pesantren sebagai pusat pemberdayaan umat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semangat Nahdlatul Tujjar masih relevan dan mampu menjawab tantangan ekonomi umat di era modern.

This research stems from a firm will and desire to explore the Qur’anic guidance on human development by highlighting the value of justice in Surah An-Nisa. A comprehensive and brief look at the guidance, knowledge, and objectives found in Surah An-Nisa clearly reveals the significance of justice, as the surah explains and demonstrates its fundamental, general, and detailed principles—whether ethical, human, political, social, legal, judicial, or international, on individual, family, or societal levels. Just as the essence of religion is inseparable from monotheism (tawhid), it also cannot thrive without the spirit of justice. The Qur'an establishes everything on the foundation of justice and fairness, and revolves around these two principles. This research is a qualitative study based on classical and contemporary works of Tafsir and Qur’anic sciences, as well as linguistic references particularly those related to the concept of justice in the Qur’an. It is further supported by secondary sources, including scholarly articles, books, and academic publications. Using the descriptive-analytical method, the study concludes that justice plays a significant role in the development and advancement of both individuals and societies. Surah An-Nisa offers clear guidance on this through its various themes and issues.

This article aims to reveal the Moroccan Government's efforts in empowering women, by involving them in real terms in the Literacy Eradication Program in mosques. This research is a qualitative research, with data collection techniques through interviews with several people related to the Literacy Eradication Program in Morocco and library data. By using descriptive analysis methods and the concept of women's empowerment as a tool for reading data, this article finds that the Moroccan government's efforts to empower women through the Ministry of Endowments in the Literacy Eradication Program in Mosques are carried out by involving women as teachers and participants. It is recorded that more than seven thousand teachers and instructors, program coordinators and education advisors from among women are actively involved in efforts to eradicate illiteracy in Morocco. In addition to being expected to develop social, economic and educational status, as well as improve the standard of living of individual program participants and also the community, this program concretely produced a mushaf written jointly by 75 thousand female program participants, which was then published under the name Al-Mushaf al-Mohammadi min Naskh an-Nisa` al-Mustafidat min Barnamij Muharabah al-Ummiyah fi al-Masajid bi Riwayah Warsy `an Nafi'.AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan mengungkap upaya Pemerintah Maroko dalam pemberdayaan perempuan, dengan melibatkan mereka secara riil pada Program Pemberantasan Buta Huruf di masjid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan beberapa orang yang berkaitan dengan Program Pemberantasan Buta Huruf di Maroko dan data kepustakaan. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dan konsep pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai alat membaca data, artikel ini menemukan bahwa upaya pemberdayaan perempuan pemerintah Maroko melalui Kementerian Wakaf dalam Program Pemberantasan Buta Huruf di Masjid, dilakukan dengan melibatkan perempuan sebagai pengajar dan peserta. Tercatat lebih dari tujuh ribu guru dan pengajar, koordinator program serta penasehat pendidikan dari kalangan perempuan terlibat aktif dalam upaya pemberantasan buta huruf di Maroko. Selain diharapkan dapat mengembangkan status sosial, ekonomi dan pendidikan, serta meningkatkan taraf hidup individu peserta program dan juga masyarakat, secara konkret program ini menghasilkan mushaf yang ditulis secara bersama-sama oleh 75 ribu perempuan peserta program, yang kemudian diterbitkan dengan nama Al-Mushaf al-Mohammadi min Naskh an-Nisa` al-Mustafidat min Barnamij Muharabah al-Ummiyah fi al-Masajid bi Riwayah Warsy `an Nafi’.

يأتي هذا البحث من منطلق الشعور بالحاجة الماسَّة إلى تقوية العلاقات الاجتماعية والإنسانية على أساس من الثقة والاحترام المتبادل، ومراعاة المشاعر والأحاسيس، لما لذلك من دورٍ إيجابي في توثيق عُرى المحبة بين الناس، وفي القدرة على اختراق الكثير من الحواجز النفسية، والوصول بسهولة إلى قلوب الآخرين. وذلك بغرض تجاوز الكثير من الإشكالات والعقبات التي تعترض سبيل السعادة الإنسانية، وتشوِّش على العلاقات القائمة بين الناس. ويعالج البحث هذا الموضوع وفق منهج التفسير الموضوعي، الذي كثيراً ما يركَّز على معرفة الأهداف القرآنية من خلال التعمق في فهمها وتقوية الروابط الاجتماعية والإنسانية، بدءاً من الأسرة وانتهاءً بالعلاقات على المستوى الإنساني العام، في كافة جوانب الحياة ومجالاتها مليئ في الهدايات القرآنية. وقد تناولنا هذا الموضوع مركزين على أمر مهم وهو: تحليل الهدايات القرآنية التي تحث صراحةً على الالتزام بالمعاملة الحسنة مع الآخرين باعتباره خُلُقاً إسلامياً رفيعاً، منوِّهةً بدور ذلك في تقوية الروابط والعلاقات الإنسانية، وبالكيفية التي ينبغي أن تكون عليها هذه العلاقات.
