Abstract

Mastery of graphic design is very important because of the importance of graphic design in organizational or community activities. The training session took place at Darma Alam Housing Complex, Jember on 20 May 2023. The workshop participants consisted of youth from Darma Alam Housing as well as officials from the local Rukun Warga. Before starting to use the Corel Draw application, participants were given graphic design material to read. This dedication activity emphasizes hands-on practice, so that a lot of time is spent practicing so that innovations in graphic design can be utilized immediately. The participants' understanding of the participant's visual design was quite strong, as evidenced by the participants' ability to remember the type and position of the tools used according to their needs. This course helps young people improve their graphic design skills by utilizing the Corel Draw application. Furthermore, the purpose of this activity is to foster creativity in the world of computers, especially graphic design. Based on the findings and discussion of Corel Draw graphic design training, it can be concluded that Darma Alam Housing youth partners can develop their creativity in the field of Corel Draw graphic design. Partners have also demonstrated design skills using Corel Draw tools, as well as knowledge of tips and methods for creating graphic designs, especially fences

Abstract

Development of the Village Creative Economy Industry Based on Local Wisdom and Entrepreneurship is one of the flagship programs to be achieved from this service. The creative economy is an evolution of concepts based on creative assets that can generate economic growth and development. Minister of Cooperatives and UKM, Teten Masduki revealed that the creative economy community (Ekraf) is most likely in the national economy. In order to increase their productivity, the Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM, encourages the creative economy community to consolidate into a format. The Department of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises of Jember Regency in running one of the services encountered several obstacles, namely there were still many cooperatives that had not reported financial reports and RATs in accordance with standards. Financial Information System training and development is one of the efforts made to resolve these obstacles. This Financial Information System will be used by the Department of Cooperatives to carry out Monitoring and Evaluation of the implementation of the Financial Reports and RATs of each of the cooperatives under its guidance. The end result of this service is in the form of a Financial System Training Module that can be used to facilitate cooperatives in carrying out financial reporting in accordance with established standards.

Abstract

This community service activity is a collaboration between the Information Systems Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Jember and RTIK Jember with the Sekar Kartini Jember Women's Consumer Cooperative. From the data collection carried out, it was found that many cooperative members who were MSMEs experienced marketing problems and lacked updates on digital technology. This training aims to provide training in the field of digital marketing and social media optimization to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The main goal is to increase the visibility and competitiveness of local MSMEs in the rapidly growing digital market. The methods used in this activity include providing practical and interactive training which covers basic digital marketing concepts, social media optimization techniques, use of digital marketing tools, and online marketing strategies using effective microsites. The final result of this activity is an increase in participants' understanding and practical skills in utilizing digital platforms to promote their MSME products or services. From initial observations, only around 10% of participants knew about Digital Marketing, so at the end of the activity it increased to 90% of participants who understood the importance of Digital Marketing. In this way, it is hoped that local MSMEs can expand their market reach, increase sales and strengthen their brand awareness among local and international consumers. Apart from that, this activity is also expected to build networks and collaboration between local MSMEs, industrial players, and educational or research institutions to support local economic growth through the use of digital technology. With good collaboration, it is hoped that an ecosystem will be created that supports the growth and sustainability of MSMEs in the current digital era

Abstract

Segmentasi nasabah merupakan strategi yang penting dalam industri perbankan untuk memahami karakteristik dan kebutuhan pelanggan secara lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini menerapkan algoritma K-Means clustering untuk mengelompokkan nasabah berdasarkan faktor demografi dan finansial, seperti usia, jenis kelamin, pendapatan, status pernikahan, dan kepemilikan aset perbankan. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari 600 record nasabah yang diambil dari sumber daring dan diproses menggunakan metode unsupervised learning dalam data mining. Proses clustering dilakukan dengan beberapa nilai k (jumlah cluster) untuk menentukan pengelompokan yang optimal. Validasi dilakukan menggunakan Within-Cluster Sum of Squares (WCSS) dan Davies-Bouldin Index guna mengukur kualitas hasil segmentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa segmentasi dengan nilai k = 2 dan k = 4 memberikan pola yang lebih jelas dibandingkan k = 3, di mana setiap cluster memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dalam hal profil risiko, preferensi produk, dan tingkat keterlibatan dengan layanan perbankan. Dengan pendekatan ini, bank dapat meningkatkan strategi pemasaran, manajemen risiko kredit, serta personalisasi layanan berdasarkan segmentasi yang dihasilkan. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan sistem berbasis data mining yang dapat membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan bisnis di sektor perbankan.

Abstract

Penipuan digital merupakan pemanfaatan internet untuk menipu korban dengan berbagai modus. Munculnya kasus penipuan digital yang dialami beberapa warga desa Sidomukti Mayang menjadi salahsatu indikator pentingnya pendampingan kepada masyarakat dalam hal literasi digital. Kecakapan dibidang digital safety atau Keamanan Digital menjadi salah satu kecakapan yang harus dimiliki masyarakat supaya terhindar dari penipuan digital dan kejahatan siber lainnya. Materi yang disampaikan didalam kegiatan pendampingan terhadap perangkat desa serta warga ini meliputi pengenalan berbagai jenis kejahatan siber, modus yang digunakan pelaku kejahatan penipuan digital, beragam contoh identifikasi penipuan serta keamanan yang bisa dilakukan sebagai upaya pencegahan dan pelaporan jika terjadi penipuan digital. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan berupa diskusi serta praktek langsung bagaimana cara melakukan pengamanan data pribadi serta situs-situs yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengecekan rekening dan nomer telpon serta situs untuk pelaporan jika terjadi penipuan digital.

Abstract

Data mining, khususnya Association Rule Mining, digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan tersembunyi dalam data dan menemukan aturan asosiasi yang bermakna, dengan algoritma seperti Apriori dan FP-Growth yang meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses ini. Dalam konteks pendidikan, teknik ini dapat membantu sekolah dalam mengoptimalkan strategi promosi dengan menyesuaikan pesan dan penawaran berdasarkan preferensi audiens, sehingga meningkatkan efektivitas alokasi sumber daya. Dengan memanfaatkan Association Rule Mining, sekolah dapat merancang strategi berbasis data untuk menarik dan mempertahankan siswa. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan perbandingan penggunaan Apriori dan FP-Growth dalam mencari rule asosiasi pada data pendidikan untuk menunjang promosi sekolah SMP 1 Muhammadiyah. Algoritma Apriori dan FP-Growth dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis pola asosiasi dalam data pendidikan guna mendukung strategi promosi SMP Muhammadiyah 1. Hasil analisis menghasilkan 16 aturan asosiasi dari Apriori dan 6 aturan dari FP-Growth, Apriori menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas calon siswa berasal dari Kecamatan Kaliwates dan lebih banyak berasal dari Sekolah Dasar Negeri, sedangkan FP-Growth mengidentifikasi bahwa calon siswa potensial juga berasal dari Kecamatan Patrang dan Sumbersari, yang dapat menjadi fokus dalam promosi sekolah.

Abstract

Typhoid fever remains a significant public health problem in Indonesia, particularly in areas with limited medical facilities. This study aims to develop an automatic classification model for typhoid diagnosis using an ensemble learning approach based on the Soft Voting Classifier. The model combines three base algorithms, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Gradient Boosting, to enhance predictive accuracy. The dataset was obtained from Balung Primary Health Center, Jember Regency, consisting of 510 patient records with typhoid symptoms. Experimental results show that the ensemble model achieved an accuracy of over 92%, outperforming individual models. Furthermore, adequate precision and recall indicate the model’s potential to support rapid and accurate medical diagnosis. These findings demonstrate that the Soft Voting Classifier can serve as an effective tool to assist healthcare workers, especially in resource-limited settings, in improving the quality of typhoid fever diagnosis.

Abstract

The selection of a final project topic is a crucial stage in the academic journey of students, as it determines the direction of research while serving as a means to apply the knowledge acquired during their studies. However, in practice, many students experience difficulties in choosing a topic that aligns with their interests and areas of expertise. This challenge is largely attributed to the absence of systems capable of providing personalized recommendations. To address this issue, this study develops a final project topic recommendation system by integrating the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) algorithm with a cookie-based approach to accommodate user preferences. The dataset used consists of 200 final project documents from the Informatics Engineering program, with titles and abstracts serving as the primary features for topic modeling during model training and perplexity evaluation. In addition, users’ search histories and relevance feedback stored in cookie sessions are utilized as personalization features to generate more tailored recommendations. FastText is employed to produce more contextual word vector representations, while cosine similarity is applied to measure the closeness between search keywords and final project topic documents. Evaluation results based on perplexity indicate that the model with 22 topics yields the most statistically optimal performance. Furthermore, testing using Click-Through Rate (CTR) demonstrates that the combination of topic modeling and user preference personalization produces the highest relevance, achieving a CTR of 15.6%, which is significantly higher than the baseline CTR of 2.2%. These findings confirm that the proposed system is capable of delivering more relevant, adaptive, and user-oriented final project topic recommendations.

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of inadequate information security systems in Informatics Engineering laboratories, which leads to high risks of data leakage, unauthorized access, and low user awareness of information security. The aim of this research is to design and implement an information security system based on the ISO/IEC 27001 standard to enhance the protection of information assets and establish sustainable security governance. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method consisting of literature review, needs analysis, risk assessment using a Risk Assessment Matrix, system design and implementation of security controls, and system evaluation through penetration testing and user compliance surveys. The results show that the implementation of technical security controls, such as data encryption, firewalls, and access management, significantly reduces data leakage risks and improves user compliance and awareness of information security practices. The study concludes that ISO/IEC 27001 is effective in establishing a structured and sustainable information security management system within the Informatics Engineering laboratory environment
