Abstract

Analyzing errors is very important for ESP students because they can relate to their work, it also provides ESP students with corrections Errors in learning behavior. This research aimed to investigate the errors, the most prominent type, and the causes of errors in using English articles in academic writing. The Researcher examined the academic writing by the ESP students. The researchers use an analytical parameter developed based on Biber et al. (1999) to analyze article errors. The causes of errors were obtained through a questionnaire developed based on the categories proposed by Brown (2007). After analyzing the data, the Researcher found 30 errors in Addition, Omission, and substitution categories. The most prominent type of Error is omission error, with a frequency of 293 occurrences or 76%. The main type of omission error is an omission of the definite article "the" before nouns or noun phrases. In contrast, the major cause of errors is mother tongue influence, with an average mean of 4.17 in the questionnaire responses. This study's findings indicate the need for teaching strategies and materials to prevent common article usage errors.

Abstract

This research was intended to find out the utizilation of Canva for education to enhance the students' writing skills in a Project-Based learning among the students in Culinary Program Vocational High School. In this research, a PJBL was conducted to close the gap and enhance the students' writing skills in writing an exposition text using Canva for education. A Descriptive qualitative method was proposed to investigate the problem of the research. The data was collected using observation and questionnaire, and the researcher used purposive sampling to select the data. Thirty-six students in grade 11 are in the Culinary Program of SMKN 6 Yogyakarta as the research data. The results show project-based learning by integrating the Canva app successfully and using the Canva application in the PjBL model to enhance the student's writing skills, especially in Exposition text. It is also supported by the questionnaire of students' perception of using the Canva application. Most of the students agree that using Canva in writing Project of Exposition text can ease their understanding of the learning material, explore their idea and creativity and enable them to focus more on the writing project.

Abstract

This community engagement initiative aims to enhance the digital capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural areas through the promotion of digital literacy. The program underscores the critical role of digital transformation in expanding market access and increasing the competitiveness of local MSMEs. A participatory educational approach was employed, involving structured training sessions, ongoing mentorship, and collaborative efforts with key village stakeholders. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding of digital branding, effective use of social media, and the importance of developing a sustainable village-based economic ecosystem

Abstract

Diberlakukannya dua sistem moneter di Indonesia yakni operasi moneter konvensional dan operasi moneter syariah guna menstabilkan kondisi perekonomian negara. Salah satu parameter utama yang berguna mengetahui dan menilai kemunduran atau peningkatan ekonomi suatu negara yakni produk domestik bruto. Penelitian ini berguna untuk menganalisis pengaruh hubungan instrumen moneter konvensional dan instrumen moneter syariah terhadap produk domestik bruto. Adapun rentang waktu penelitian yang digunakan yakni data triwulan dari tahun 2012 sampai 2020, menggunakan alat analisis Vector Auto Regression atau Vector Error Correction Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Reverse Repo Surat Utang Negara, Sertifikat Bank Indonesia Syariah, dan Fasilitas Simpanan Bank Indonesia Syariah pada jangka pendek tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produk domestik bruto, sedangkan Sertifikat Bank Indonesia memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap produk domestik bruto. Pada jangka panjang hanya variabel FASBIS yang tidak bepengaruh signifikan terhadap produk domestik bruto di Indonesia.
