Abstract

Background: Percentage of exclusive breastfeeding in Jogja is low at 40.24 % , while the national target is 80 % . Many factors influence the success of exclusive breastfeeding, such as knowlwdge skills and techniques in breasfeeding and husband support. Efforts to increase the percentage is to provide breastfeeding counseling to couples. Husband’s support leads to successful breastfeeding techniques.Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of breastfeeding on couples counseling to the knowledge, support, and technical skills as well as the correlation of the couples knowledge of breastfeeding in a group of couples.Method: This research is a quasi experiment that assesses “ Effect of Breastfeeding Counseling In A married couple on Knowledge, skills technical Support to Breastfeeding In Public Health Centers of Yogyakarta “, by pretest-posttest control group. Sampling with consecutive sampling techniques in health centers Jetis, Tegalrejo, and Mergangsan, samples are husband and postpartum primiparous mothers who breastfeed their babies which is 60, randomization techniques are used to divide the block into a treatment group and a control group of 30 samples each. Knowledge variables were measured with questionnaires before and after counseling. The variable of husband support in the questionnaire after counseling, while the variable of breastfeeding skills is observed with breasfeeding the checklist before and after counseling. Analysis of the data uses the Wilcoxon, Man Whitney and Spearman Rank.Result: The results showed the score of knowledge and skills in a group of couples and groups prior to the intervention itself not significant (p> 0.05). The median value of knowledge for couples groups is 56.2, skills is 27, 27. The median value of the group itself to the knowledge is 55,0 27.27. The results of the knowledge, and skills after the intervention showed significant differences (p< 0.05). Couples groups is knowledge median value is 92.5, the value of the skills is 100, while the value of the group’s own knowledge 88,7 and skills is 72.72. Median value of knowledge on husband support to couples is (88,8), higher than own group median value (72.2), there is a significant difference (p < 0.05) . There is a husband and wife correlation knowledge which is significant (p <0.05)Conclusion: There is an effect of breastfeeding on couples counseling to the increase of knowledge, support, and technical skills of breastfeeding in Yogyakarta city health centers. Knowledge, support, and technical skills about breastfeeding in a group of couples is higher than the group itself. Husband’s good knowledge can increase wife’s knowledge about proper breastfeeding techniques.Keywords: Breastfeeding counseling, knowledge, support and skills

Abstract

Kecemasan sosial merupakan salah satu gangguan psikologis yang sering dialami oleh remaja, terutama mahasiswa yang berada dalam fase transisi menuju kehidupan akademik yang lebih kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran konselor Islam dalam menangani kecemasan sosial pada remaja, khususnya mahasiswa Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam (BKI) di INSUD Lamongan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konselor Islam memiliki peran penting dalam membantu mahasiswa mengatasi kecemasan sosial melalui pendekatan religius, terapi kognitif Islami, serta bimbingan dan konseling berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Pendekatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, mengurangi ketakutan dalam interaksi sosial, serta memperkuat keimanan mahasiswa. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi praktisi konseling Islam dalam menangani permasalahan kecemasan sosial pada remaja.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the tradition of ulos holong, that the offering of ulos for bride/groom in every Toba Batak wedding ceremony in Medan, creates an economic impact on the bridegroom. The research was carried out in three sub-districts in two stages of time, that is September 2019 – February 2020 (before the Covid-19 pandemic) and September 2020 to February 2021 (during the Covid-19 pandemic). The sampling method was carried out by accidental sampling by selecting 30 families at each stage of the study. The results showed that all respondents sold most of the received ulos because the utility or use value of the ulos for bride and grooms was very limited. This is a practical and rational choice because the proceeds from the sale (cash) are more useful than ulos, especially in the short term. Meanwhile, implementing ulos tinonun sadari can also be a more practical and economical option as a substitute for ulos holong. However, because ulos holong is still maintained, so that from opportunity cost approach, this tradition has still an economic impact on the bride and groom. The value is the difference between the value of the ulos tinonun sadari which should be received by the bride/grooms from the proceeds of the sale of ulos holong. So, by maintaining the ulos holong tradition, the bride and grooms “lose income” several million rupiah for each traditional wedding ceremony. The value is greater before the pandemic period than during the pandemic.

Abstract

Investments can be made in various types in the financial market. Some of them are gold, stock, foreign exchange and deposit investments. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is very difficult to make profitable and safe investments. This research was conducted to determine which types of investments are safe to do during the COVID-19 pandemic. By using the Kruskal Wallis test, which is non-parametric statistics, which is an alternative to the one-way ANOVA test that can be used if the sample is not normally distributed. From the results of the Kruskal Wallis Test, it was found that the most profitable type of investment in the financial market during the covid-19 pandemic was stock investment and the results of statistical tests showed that there were significant differences that were profitable from the types of investments in gold, stocks, and foreign exchange.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Tersedak merupakan suatu kondisi terjadinya sumbatan atau hambatan respirasi oleh benda asing yang menyempit pada saluran napas internal, termasuk faring, hipofaring, dan trakea. Penyempitan jalan napas bisa berakibat fatal jika itu mengarah pada gangguan serius oksigenasi dan ventilasi. Kondisi tersedak pada anak dapat menimbulkan situasi kegawatdaruratan respirasi yang jika tidak ditangani dengan segera dapat mengancam jiwa ataupun kecacatan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang bantuan hidup dasar dengan sasaran pelatihan yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat awam. Permasalahan mitra kegiatan ini adalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pertolongan pertama pada orang yang mengalami tersedak. Solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan melakukan edukasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat dengan jumlah peserta yang hadir sebanyak 20 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 20 Mei 2025 dengan metode ceramah dan praktik pertolongan pada orang yang mengalami tersedak. Evaluasi dengan memberikan kuesioner pada saat pretest dan post test.
