Rheumathoid disease and joint inflamation is the most diseases find in society, particularly in 40 years old. More than 40% from them suffer muscle pain. The objectives is knowing effect of ginger compresses in pain intensity who suffered Rheumathoid Arthtritis in 40 years old in Tiga Balata Health Center 2015. this study adopted quasy eksperimental method with pre-test and post test design. This research was conducted at Tiga Balata Health Center in march 06, 2015 until 20 march 2015. There are 30 respondens for this reseached who suffered rheumathoid arthritis and suffered pain. The sample in this research are with purposive sampling technique. Data collecting by interview and observation using interview and observation pain form. In this reseach noted that mostly respondent in their pain scale before ginger compresses (pre-test) at least 4,73 with standar deviasi 1.311. whereas pain intencity of rheumathoid arthritis after gingger comppresses (post-test) is 2,13 with deviasi standard 1,008. With wilcoxon sign rank test obtained such as rate of (p value = 000 < 0,05). This indicated that there is a significantly differences of pain intensity before ginger compresses with after ginger compresses (post-test). It is suggest to nurse that ginger compresses can use for complementary managing pain of rheumathoid arthritis could continue as intervention independent by patient. Advice for nursing practice that ginger compresses can use as complementary therapy to decrease pain intensity of rheumathoid arthritis.Keywords : Pain, Rheumathoid Arthritis, Ginger Compresses.

The occurrence of the Sinabung eruption resulted in damage to houses and land, even some residents had to lose their homes due to heavy damage and were not fit to be occupied. This makes people very sad, feeling confused, anxious because the eruption still continues. Even so, this does not discourage people from staying in Gurukinayan Village. This high fighting spirit makes people able to survive even not wanting to move house. They tried to make adjustments after natural disasters, in order to survive. Adaptation by the community aims to enable them to re-adapt adaptively. The purpose of this study was to analyze the adaptation strategies of Gurukinayan Village residents after the eruption of Mount Sinabung. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive phenomenological approach. Data collection was done through participant observation and in-depth interviews with key informants who were victims of Mount Sinabung eruption. The analysis was carried out using a description of content analysis and life history with the number of participants 6. The results obtained were survival strategies conducted by Gurukinayan Village residents: On the health aspect: participants stated that they went to health services for treatment when experiencing health problems such as coughing, shortness of breath, flu, and fever, but there were some participants who made their own efforts by concocting traditional medicine, but there were also those who let the complaint heal themselves without having to go for treatment. In the psychological aspect: participants revealed a lot of the losses suffered due to eruptions, of course this made people experience deep sadness, but they still tried to stay motivated despite the many impacts experienced, this high enthusiasm made citizens become motivated to maintain their survival. Socio-economic aspects: Participants express the strong attachment and social interaction of citizens so that this is what makes citizens stay afloat. Infrastructure Aspect: participants said they were trying to improve infrastructure such as repairing damaged houses and land.

Infeksi saluran pernafasan akut (ISPA) merupakan salah satu penyakit paling banyak di derita oleh masayarakat. Kebiasaan merokok anggota keluarga tanpa memperhatikan lingkungan sekitar selain dapat menimbulkan masalah bagi perokok itu sendiri juga dapat menimbulkan masalah bagi orang lain. Termasuk balita yang tinggal bersama. Salah satu masalah yang sering kali timbul pada balita akibat paparan asap rokok adalah infeksi saluran pernafasan akut (ISPA). ISPA pada balita menjadi penyebab utama kunjungan balita ke pelayanan kesehatan dan kematian balita di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Hubungan Kebiasaan Merokok Anggota Keluarga Di dalam Rumah Dengan Kejadian ISPA pada Balita di Puskesmas Helvetia Pada Tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan rancangan Cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 1.108 dengan sampel 92 orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dengan uji statistic spearman menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Kebiasaan Merokok Anggota Keluarga Di dalam Rumah Dengan Kejadian ISPA pada Balita di Puskesmas dengan nilai p = 0,000. Disarankan kepada agar orang tua diharapkan tidak merokok di dalam rumah dan perlu memperhatikan ventilasi rumah untuk sirkulasi udara kotor seperti dari asap rokok.

Airway obstruction by a foreign body is an emergency that requires immediate treatment often occurs in children aged less than 3 years. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge with handling techniques airway obstruction by a foreign body which carried out the family in children less than 3 years in the village of Kute Lot Takengon. Type of research is descriptive research with cross sectional correlational. The population in this study is a family in the village of Kute Lot Takengon, with a sample of 40 families that mothers using total sampling and test (Spearman).The results showed a family of knowledge in the handling of airway obstruction by a foreign body in children less than 3 years old enough to be in a category by 60 % while handling technique family with airway obstruction by a foreign body in children less than 3 years the majority is not done by 75 %. The results showed a correlation value of 0,424 with p value < a ( 0.006 < 0.05 ) means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and handling techniques airway obstruction by a foreign body which carried out the family in children less than 3 years in the village of Kute Lot Takengon.For nursing practice is expected to provide counseling and health education to the public about handling techniques airway obstruction by a foreign body in children aged less than 3 years so that people can have knowledge of experience in preventing and provide treatment airway obstruction by a foreign body in children.

Response time is fully committed to the patient time when patients arrive until response or a response from the emergency room. The speed of the service in this context is the implementation of the act or examination by physicians and nurses in less than five minutes from the first arrival in er patient. Patient satisfaction family is based on the fulfillment hope the patient and family. The gratification of the family closely related to response time (time responding). The purpose of aware of the relationships response time a nurse with satisfaction the family patients in emergency room RSUD Dr.Pirngadi city medan. This is the kind of research descriptive correlation with delightful the study of cross sectional. The population of this research was 320 people by the number of sample of the 48 patients taken with relatives of the accidental of sampling techniques. Collecting data was done using a questionnaire and observation, then the data analysis by test chi-square. Based on the research indicates the presence of the relation of response time a nurse with the family satisfaction atients in emergency room RSUD Dr.Pirngadi city medan (p=0.002; a 0.05). Based on the result of the study can be in conclude that Rapid response time to increase life expectancy for patients, prevent a disability physical or death, and to increase the satisfaction of the family and the patient against services offered by hospital. Hence advised for hospitals, relations with leaves response time a nurse with satisfaction hospital patient and the management team can implement intervention to increase the satisfaction of the family patient against response time nurse.

Hypertension is often referred as a dark killer (silent killer), because it includes a deadly disease without any prior symptoms as a warning to the victim. Obesity is one of the factors that increase the risk of hypertension and heart attack. One method to prevent hypertension is to keep the weight off. Some anthropometric measurements conducted to identify obesity as screening for cardiovascular disease, one of which is through the measurement of BMI and waist circumference. This study aims to determine the relation of BMI and waist circumference with hypertension in village communities at Masjid SungaiIyu Aceh Tamiang. This research is a correlation Analytical study with cross sectional design. The sample in this research that most people who live in the village of Masjid Sungai IyuAceh Tamiang thataged 25-55 years amounted to 73 people, the sampling is purposive sampling technique. Results of statistical test Spearman correlation between BMI with systolic and diastolic blood pressure was obtained p value = 0.000 (p value <0.05). It is known that there is a significant relation between BMI and waist circumference with systolic and diastolic blood pressure and closeness of this relationship has a strong, positive patterned. It is recommended to the public to perform routine measurements of BMI and waist circumference. People who have BMI and waist circumference above the normal recommended to exercise regularly, reduce the consumption of fatty foods and more activity in order to prevent accumulation of abdominal fat area which could be at risk of hypertension.

Perform ungood of body mechanics is one of the causes of the risk of Low Back Pain (LBP). Which if left untreated can seriously lifelong paralysis. This study aims to look the relationship between body mechanics of nurse with the risk of Low Back Pain (LBP) at the Dr.Pringadi General Hospital, wits 41 nurses. Results of this study showed the body mechanics of nurse are good (25 people or 62,5% ) and the risk for Low Back Pain (LBP) are 33 people (82,5%). Resuts of this study wits fisher’s exact test p=0,007 (P < 0,05) means that there were hare relationship between the nurse’s body mechanics with occurrence risk Low Back Pain (LBP) of the nurses in the Dr. Pirngadi General Hospital. From these results, it is expected to increase the knowledge of nurses and to inform the nurses and to inform the nurse so much more attention to body mechanics when performing each action the patient to improve the quality of hospital care through a batter nurse.

Hypertension is a condition when blood pressure in blood vessels increases chronically. Seeing the complexity of the problem of hypertension and the existence of pharmacological treatment of hypertension barriers due to the declining purchasing power of people and having a price that is quite expensive so that non-pharmacological treatment can be a good and useful alternative choice, both in terms of economical (cheap) and affordable. Non-phamacological therapy is by modifying daily patterns and returning to natural products (back to nature). Referring to the concept of back to nature by using local materials that are widely available in the community because these materials are rich in antioxidants and potassium. Cucumbers have potassium and magnesium while star fruit contains potassium and sodium which have an effect on reducing blood pressure. This study aims to compare the administration of cucumber fruit juice with sweet star fruit to the reduction in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The type of this research is quasy experiment with pre and post test group design.The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. Blood pressure is measured using a sphygmomanometer. The results showed a decrease in blood pressure after being given cucumber juice and star fruit. Based on the Independent T test, the P value of 0.653 (P >0.05) shows that there is no significant difference, meaning that between starfruit juice and cucumber can lower blood pressure, so it can be concluded that cucumber and starfruit are equally good at reducing blood pressure in patients hypertension in Posbindu Mekar Sari Helvetia Medan

Getting old is the process of the changing or phisical appearance and biological decreasing that cause the creasing of sleeping quality and cognitive function to elderly. Brain gym is one of the non pharmacological therapies to stimulate the brain and can fix the nerve position and blood flow, so it can increase the relaxation for the elderly to help sleeping quality and cognitive function. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of brain gym to the cognitive function and sleeping quality for the elderly in Public Health Centre Rantang Medan. The study design is quasi eksperimental with the approach one group pre and post test design. The sampling method is purposive sampling with 21 elderly. The results of the study show that 67% of the respondents have light cognitive problem and 66,7% have bad sleeping problem after doing brain gym. The t test paired (p<0.05) shows that there is effect of brain gym to the elderly cognitif function and mc nemar (p>0,05) shows that there is no effect of brain gym to the sleeping quality. It is suggested to the public health centre to apply brain gym exercise to the elderly to increse cognitive function and also apply other therapies like aerobic to increase sleeping quality.
