Abstract

Inflation is the increase in prices and goods in a certain period whose growth is always sought to remain low and stable in order to realize public welfare. High inflation fluctuations have a major influence on a country's economy, so forecasting is needed that can be used as a reference for the Government and Central Bank to prevent high inflation while maintaining price stability in the future. In addition, inflation forecasting can help economic actors in decision making. Forecasting can be done with various methods, one of which is Cheng's Fuzzy Time Series. The inflation data used in this study was obtained from the Bank Indonesia website from January 2003 to September 2023 with a monthly data period of 249 data. The prediction results for a 9-month period are 5.54% for the highest inflation and 2.92% for the lowest inflation. Based on the testing that has been done, the MAPE error value is 9.54% with a very good MAPE value category.

Abstract

This community service program aims to overcome the low efficiency of agricultural land management in Kalibaru Manis Village, Banyuwangi, by focusing on increasing farmers' knowledge in utilizing drone technology for mapping. This training provides theory and practice of drone operation and processing aerial image data using Geographic Information System (GIS) software. The implementation method includes preparation, training, and evaluation stages. Participants were trained to operate drones, retrieve image data, and analyze it to produce land maps. A collaborative approach between lecturers, students, and practitioners was applied to ensure the success of the program. As a result, participants are able to use drones independently and utilize the data for more effective land management. This program increases agricultural productivity and supports environmental sustainability through the application of modern technology.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of a coffee fruit sorting system, which is a part of an embedded automation system for coffee processing and storage. The implementation of this system aims to improve and maintain the quality of coffee throughout the production and storage processes. The embedded automation system for coffee processing begins with the coffee fruit sorting system, which is responsible for selecting perfectly ripe and high-quality coffee fruits. Subsequently, the system proceeds with coffee bean production and storage processes. The developed system comprises small-scale subsystems capable of performing various coffee processing tasks. These subsystems can be integrated to form a larger system capable of handling coffee production and storage processes. The research utilizes software technology embedded in the hardware system. The employed software technology is a component of an intelligent control system, which utilizes artificial intelligence as its underlying control mechanism. The maturity classification of coffee fruits is divided into three classes: KM (immature), MM (mature), and MS (fully mature). This classification scheme simplifies the understanding of the sorting process.
