Abstract

The instruction of Manufacturing Technical Drawings remains predominantly teacher-centered, lacking diversity in methodologies, thereby causing students to perceive the subject as challenging. This challenge primarily stems from their struggles in comprehending CAD drawing concepts, interpreting existing drawings, and understanding the functionalities of tools in the AutoCAD application, as outlined in the job sheet. Consequently, students' learning achievements fall short of the minimum passing standards SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya set. This research aims to evaluate the impact of project-based learning on learning outcomes in manufacturing technical drawings and assess the quality of instructional tools employed. The study involves two groups, experimental and control groups, selected through cluster random sampling. Data collection includes pretests administered before the instructional intervention and post-tests conducted after both groups receive different treatments. Results reveal that students in the experimental group attain significantly higher average scores than the control group, indicating a substantial influence of project-based learning on learning outcomes. This approach enhances students' understanding, engagement, and critical thinking abilities within the subject area.

Abstract

Design of a Smart Bin with Data Acquisition At Madrasah Aliyah Al-Huda 1 Jatiluhur is a system created to handle waste by integrating trash into the system. In general, trash cans must be checked manually by visiting their location, for this reason the authors conducted research with the aim of designing and building a system that functions to be able to detect garbage levels, temperature levels, humidity, light intensity, and rain, designing system modeling using unified modeling language (UML), namely use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. Applications are built on two desktop and mobile platforms, for desktop platforms built using visual basic.net, for databases using MySQL, and mobile platforms built using Android Studio, as well as for system testing using black-box testing, as well as for hardware implementation, the author uses Nodemcu ESP8266 and Arduino Uno. By designing a smart waste bin system with data acquisition, it will help handle waste more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Revitalisasi wisata Danau Maninjau perlu didukung agar dapat kembali menjadi destinasi wisatawan. Salah satu destinasi wisata yang dikembangkan oleh Pemerintahan Kabupaten Agam di Kawasan Danau Maninjau adalah Linggai Park. Oleh karena itu perlu sekali didukung dengan adanya kesadaran dan kepedulian dari masyarakat untuk dapat mengembangkan potensi wisata ini. Berdasarkan hasil obseravasi dan wawancara dengan beberapa orang wisatawan yang berkunjung keĀ  Linggai park, perlu adanya wahana yang dapat menarik minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung. Berdasarkan hal tim Desa Wisata Edukatif dari Universitas Negeri Padang melaksakan kegiatan pengabdian yang dapat mengembangkan parawisata Linggai Park. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan pembuatan perahu wisata dari fiberglass. Kegiatan edukasi sadar dan peduli wisata diberikan kepada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Raya. Kesadaran dan kepedulian dari generasi muda sangatlah penting, karena mereka dapat menjadi influencer dalam promosi wisata Linggai park. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan perahu wisata dari bahan fiberglass diberikan kepada pemuda Nagari Duo Koto. Perahu wisata dari bahan fiberglass dari hasil pelatihan dihibahkan kepada Nagari Duo Koto. Harapanya setelah pelatihan ini masyarakat dapat membuat perahu wisata secara mandiri.
