Abstract

Beberapa model evaluasi yang umum digunakan adalah model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), model evaluasi Kirkpatrick, dan model evaluasi ROI (Return on Investment). Namun, evaluasi model tidak selalu mudah dilakukan. Model Evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) adalah salah satu model evaluasi yang paling sering digunakan dalam evaluasi program. Salah satu model evaluasi yang dapat digunakan adalah model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Model Evaluasi CIPP Model evaluasi adalah suatu kerangka kerja yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi suatu sistem atau program. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep evaluasi model CIPP di SMK. Model evaluasi CIPP adalah model evaluasi yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi suatu program atau sistem dengan mempertimbangkan konteks, input, proses, dan produk. Model ini merupakan salah satu model evaluasi yang paling banyak digunakan di dunia pendidikan. Model CIPP adalah alat evaluasi yang banyak digunakan dalam evaluasi program. Model evaluasi ROI adalah model evaluasi yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas suatu program atau sistem dengan mempertimbangkan biaya dan manfaat. Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang pengertian, prinsip, dan tahapan evaluasi model CIPP serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya di SMK

Abstract

Learning as a learning process built by lecturers to develop creative thinking that can improve students' thinking skills. Project-based learning is a teaching and learning strategy that involves students to work on a project that is useful for solving community or environmental problems. The type of research used is research in the form of classroom action research. However, according to researchers, classroom teaching is not only in a room, but a group of students who are learning. This classroom action research can be done not only in the classroom, but anywhere, as long as there is a group of students who are learning. This study aims to see the results of the application of Project-based learning in Welding Technology Subjects with 29 students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering FT-UNP. The aspects seen in the observation results are visual, oral, listening, writing, monotoric, mental, emotional activities. Aspects seen in student learning outcomes include: project worksheets and assessment sheets. The results of the recapitulation of observation of activeness in Cycle I averaged 60.16% and the percentage of activeness in Cycle II averaged 80.56%. The overall average liveliness between cycles is 70.4% and learning outcomes are 79.65%. Based on the results of classroom action research that has been carried out in 2 (two) cycles in this study, it can be concluded that the application of the project-based learning model can improve learning activeness and learning outcomes of Welding Technology courses of Mechanical Engineering Department Students FT-UNP.

Abstract

This research evaluates the application' of the Project' Based Learning' (PjBL)' learning model in Creative Products and Entrepreneurship subjects in class' XI Heavy' Equipment Engineering' at SMK Negeri 1 Timpeh. SMK Negeri 1 Timpeh strives to achieve the vision of the Revitalization of SMK PK, which emphasizes the preparation of graduates for the world of work or entrepreneurship. Interview results show' that student' learning outcomes' have not reached' graduation standards, and teacher-centred learning conditions and a lack of variety in learning models are the main challenges. Therefore, this research applies the PjBL model as an effort to overcome this problem. The PjBL model is considered the right solution because it emphasizes time-bound processes, focus on problems, and the formation of meaningful learning units. This research includes the results of previous research that shows the success of PjBL in improving student learning outcomes in various educational contexts. This research used method Classroom Action Research (PTK) with an instrument in the form of a project assessment rubric. The research results show a big improve in student learning outcomes after implementing PjBL. In the second cycle, classical completion reached 100%, exceeding the research success indicator. The PjBL model provides alternative options for teachers in learning approaches, creates fun learning experiences, and increases student engagement. It is hoped that the implementation of PjBL can activate students, increase creativity, and produce graduates with skills relevant' to' the demands' of the 21st' century.' This research supports the implementation of PjBL to improve student' learning' outcomes' in Creative Products' and Entrepreneurship' subjects.

Abstract

SMKS Dhuafa Padang equips students with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through the subject of Creativity Products and Entrepreneurship (PKK) However, students' interest in entrepreneurship is still low. This study examines the factors behind it, such as the increasingly narrow job opportunities, Entrepreneurship can create jobs, PKK has an influence on the entrepreneurial spirit, Entrepreneurship learning has an important role in increasing students' entrepreneurial interest. This study uses a quantitative correlational type to determine the relationship between PKK and Entrepreneurial Interest. Data collected in the form of numbers and analyzed using statistics. The research method used is associative quantitative, which aims to determine the influence and relationship between PKK and Entrepreneurial Interest. The study found that PKK has a relationship with students' interest in entrepreneurship at SMKS Dhuafa Padang. This is evidenced through the T test and F test, where the value of Sig. 0.05 and the value of tcount ttable (in the T test) and the value of fcount ftable (in the F test) indicate a relationship. In conclusion, PKK proved to play an important role in increasing students' interest in entrepreneurship, with 29.2% influenced by PKK and the rest by other factors.

Abstract

Considering electrical engineering students at Universitas Negeri Medan as a case study, this research looks at how an SVL affected their grades. Integrating the TAM with the ABET Laboratory Learning Objectives, it provides a comprehensive framework for quality engineering and technology education. This research is the first of its kind to theoretically compare the two concepts in a VL context. This research examines the relationship between student performance in the classroom and the TAM's usability components as well as the ABET's learning objectives. The results from the surveys given to first-year Electrical Engineering students are analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS). Because it enhances student performance and satisfies their learning goals, the results demonstrate that utilizing simulation-based virtual laboratories (SVL) in engineering education offers substantial educational benefits.

Abstract

Based on research conducted by PISA, the ability to solve problems and think critically of Indonesian students is still below the average score set by PISA. Problem based learning is one of the learning models recommended by the Ministry of Education and Culture to be applied in improving these abilities. However, the lack of problem-based learning that has been applied so far is the lack of use of media that can be used as support in learning activities, resulting in inconsistencies in the impact of problem-based learning in improving student skills. The importance of these skills for students to have in this era of the industrial revolution 4.0, makes educators have to be more creative and innovative in implementing learning. Therefore, this study aims at seeing efforts to improve problem solving skills and critical thinking skills through problem based integrated computer assisted instruction (CAI). This study used a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study were undergraduate students of Mechanical Engineering Education, Padang State University. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire which is used to see students' problem solving and critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique in this study is in accordance with the research hypothesis, where research hypotheses 1 and 2 use independent sample t-test and research hypothesis 3 uses MANCOVA. The research covered by his study is in line with higher education's continuing search for effective SCL approaches

Abstract

The learning process of Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects in Vocational High Schools still uses printed books, resulting the students’ boredom in learning the materials. Apart from that, the learning method used is the lecture method which is certainly less effective in supporting students' understanding on the materials so that learning is more teacher-centered. Meanwhile, the demand for the Emancipated Curriculum is that learning must be student-centered. This study aimed to develop learning tools for PjBL-based teaching module on the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects. This research was a research and development using the ADDIE development model. There were 12 experts who validated this module from 3 aspects, including material, media and model, and language aspects, and 30 students as participants for pilot study. The results of this research showed that this module is valid and has positive effects in supporting the learning process for the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects. This study brings pedagogical implications for the effectiveness of Creativity and Entrepreneurship Product subjects and is a method that can be implemented by teachers in the subject learning.

Abstract

Vocational secondary education institutions are able to anticipate and manage change by using various existing skills by utilising technology. Improving teaching media is one way to utilise technology. Learning media in the form of electronic modules must be developed in vocational high schools. The main problem that occurs, the demands of the K13 curriculum regulations require schools to use Project Based Learning with insufficient learning resources, insufficient learning resources and Students have difficulty in applying existing concepts to the tasks given, have poor problem solving skills, have stunted critical thinking skills of students. Overcoming these problems, the real task is to support people with skills to improve the existing learning process. The objectives obtained from this study based on the formulation of the problem: to produce a valid, practical and effective learning module. The 4D Research and Development model was chosen which consists of four phases, namely the defining, design, development and implementation phases. The results of the development research in the form of project-based learning e-modules on Maintenance of Chassis and Power Transfer of Light Vehicles are valid with the test results of each aspect of the first aspect of the material 0.81 second aspect of the grammar aspect 0.85 third aspect of the description of the fourth material self-instructional 1, practical with the test results of each aspect of the first aspect of the content 93% second aspect of use 94% third aspect 89% and effective with the results of the gain score test 0.7 used to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The soft skills competencies needed in the industrial revolution 4.0 era on the 21st century are critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration or known as 4Cs Skills. This study aims at revealing a teaching activity that can develop and improve the 4Cs skills of vocational education students. This research was a quantitative study using a survey method. The research instrument used a questionnaire of the lecturers' statements about teaching activities carried out by educators to improve or develop the 4Cs skills of vocational education students. The respondents in this study were 403 educators that consisting of 200 educators from Universitas Negeri Padang (Indonesia) and 203 educators from Universiti Tun Hussein on Malaysia (Malaysia). Based on the research findings, it was found that the teaching activity that was most often carried out or appeared with a high percentage in improving students' 4Cs skills was problem solving to improve critical thinking skills, debate to improve communication skills, peer partner learning to improve collaboration skills and finally mind mapping to improve creative skills. Based on the results of this study, lecturers in the implementation of learning need to condition learning activities that can develop students' 4Cs skills, so that the competencies possessed are in accordance with the needs of the developing industry in this 21st century.
