Abstract

Immunization Completeness base is an immunization that must be given to children from birth so that their bodies are protected from dangerous diseases. Complete basic immunization coverage in Suka Raya Village, Pancur Batu District reached 80.7%: the low coverage of basic immunization is related to the knowledge and attitudes of mothers. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and attitudes and the completeness of basic immunization in infants . Data collection from primary and secondary data, data were analyzed using the chi-square test with a 95% confidence level. This type of research is analytical with a Cross Sectional approach , the population in this study were all mothers who had babies aged 9-12 months who visited Suka Raya Village, namely 42 people. The sampling technique is Total Sampling . Collection data For about complete basic immunization data analysis with Chi Square statistical test . The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between maternal knowledge and attitudes with the completeness of basic immunization with a p value for the knowledge variable of 0.003 and a p value for the attitude variable of 0.000. Then, maternal knowledge and attitudes influenced the completeness of basic immunization in infants, mothers with good knowledge and positive attitudes were more likely to complete their infants' basic immunization according to the specified schedule. It is recommended for Pancur Batu Village to further improve the provision of counseling to mothers about complete basic immunization and for health workers in Pancur Batu Village to improve maternal knowledge about the completeness of basic immunization

Abstract

Anemia is a common complication in cancer patients, especially in advanced stages, which affects quality of life and response to therapy. This study aims to analyze the relationship between cancer stage and hemoglobin (Hb) levels in female patients undergoing chemotherapy. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design and involved 54 female cancer patients at the H. Adam Malik General Hospital Polyclinic, Medan. The sampling technique used convenience sampling. Data were analyzed using the Spearman's rho test to determine the relationship between cancer stage and Hb levels. The majority of respondents were in stage 3 (48.1%) and stage 4 (37.0%), with 63% experiencing moderate anemia (Hb 8–10 g/dL). The results of the Spearman test showed a significant positive correlation between cancer stage and Hb levels (r = 0.683; p = 0.000), indicating that the more advanced the cancer stage, the lower the hemoglobin levels tend to be. It was concluded that there was a significant relationship between cancer stage and hemoglobin levels in female patients. These results emphasize the importance of monitoring Hb levels in clinical management and nursing care of cancer patients, especially in advanced stages.

Abstract

The manual registration information system for incoming students is still commonly used by certain universities and colleges in Indonesia. However, the challenge lies in the fact that many potential students, especially those living outside urban areas, face difficulties with manual procedures and indeed many colleges still need a more efficient and effective information system to facilitate ownership of exam participant cards. The purpose of this study is to design a new student admissions website using PHP and MySQL to facilitate online registrants in ownership of exam participant cards. The methodology used in this study involves a system development research procedure, specifically focusing on creating a web-based system for new student admissions information that can be accessed via a web browser. The system for new student admissions information was developed using the PHP programming language and utilizing the MySQL database as a database server. The results of the design of this new student admissions website show that the newly implemented web-based student admissions system is able to offer convenience to prospective students in accessing broad information about the admissions process, as well as completing registration procedures, making online payments, and issuing exam participant cards. Hopefully this system will continue to be developed and can be applied in every college.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor risiko utama penyakit kardiovaskular adalah hipertensi, suatu kondisi tidak menular yang sangat umum di Indonesia. Menggunakan pangan fungsional seperti kurma (Phoenix dactylifera L.), yang kaya akan kalium, magnesium, serat, dan antioksidan, merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengatasi hipertensi, baik secara farmakologis maupun non-farmakologis. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan potensi kurma dalam menurunkan tekanan darah. Peserta dari masyarakat yang memiliki riwayat atau berisiko hipertensi berpartisipasi dalam pendekatan implementasi, yang meliputi edukasi kesehatan melalui ceramah interaktif, sesi tanya jawab, dan pembagian leaflet, di Puskesmas Sibolangit. Tes pra dan pasca digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan, dan hasilnya dikaji secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan temuan, skor pengetahuan rata-rata peserta meningkat dari 60,5 pada tes pra menjadi 85,7 pada tes pasca, dan mereka juga menyatakan keinginan yang lebih besar untuk memasukkan kurma ke dalam pola makan seimbang. Selain itu, peserta melaporkan peningkatan kesadaran tentang cara menyajikan kurma untuk meningkatkan kesehatan kardiovaskular dan dosis yang dibutuhkan. Sebagai sarana untuk mempromosikan edukasi gizi berbasis pangan lokal, kegiatan ini telah menunjukkan hasil yang menjanjikan. Singkatnya, kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penggunaan kurma dapat ditingkatkan dalam upaya mencegah dan mengelola hipertensi.
