Abstract

Satisfaction of patients hospitalized in Dr Pirngadi Medan  much experience dissatisfaction. Patient satisfaction is related to the quality of nursing care that assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. This study aims to determine the quality of nursing care to patient satisfaction in Dr Pirngadi Medan. This research is an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population is all inpatients in Dr Pirngadi Medan  on average per month amounted to 138 people. Sample of 102 people, the sampling technique by means of proportional random sampling. Data collected from interviews using questionnaires, analyzed by Multiple Logistic Regression at α = 5%. The results showed that the quality assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of influence on patient satisfaction in hospitals Dr Pirngadi Medan  and the most dominant variable influencing patient satisfaction in hospitals Dr Pirngadi Medan  is variable implementation, namely on the value of the coefficient regression exp (B) 19.978. It is suggested to RSUD Dr Pirngadi Medan , to pay attention to the nurses in the room to be more active in improving the quality of nursing care in the patient, for the nurse to study more detail about the problems that emerged so that the accurate nursing diagnosis can be made, the nursing plan that has been formulated can give Quality nursing care and comprehensive, should nurses should be able to document any nursing actions that have been implemented and is expected to improve the performance of nurses so as to improve nursing care in patients.

Abstract

The elderly are a vulnerable group at high risk of experiencing nutritional problems due to various factors such as decreased appetite, digestive disorders, and economic and social limitations. Poor nutritional status in the elderly can increase susceptibility to disease and reduce quality of life. This community service activity aims to improve the nutritional status and awareness of the elderly about the importance of consuming nutritious food through the provision of supplementary food (PMT). The activity was carried out at the Village Health Post (Poskesdes) in Sukaraya Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2025. The methods used included nutrition counseling, simple health checks, demonstrations of making supplementary food from local ingredients, and distribution of PMT consisting of mung bean porridge, biscuits, milk, and fruit. A total of 50 elderly people actively participated in this activity. Evaluation results showed an increase in participants' knowledge about the importance of balanced nutrition and motivation to improve their daily diet. The elderly also said they felt happy and helped by the PMT that could support their daily nutritional needs. This activity not only focused on providing supplementary food but also strengthened education so that the elderly could implement a healthy diet independently. It is hoped that community service activities like this can continue to be carried out sustainably to support promotive and preventive efforts in improving the health status of the elderly and realizing healthy, independent, and productive elderly people

Abstract

Breast milk is a liquid that contains white blood cells, immune substances, enzymes, hormones, and proteins that are suitable for babies. Breast milk is an ideal source of nutrition, rich in food essences that can accelerate the growth of brain cells and the development of the nervous system. In breastfeeding, mothers often experience anxiety caused by milk production. Breast milk production can be influenced by several factors, namely infant birth weight, gestational age, maternal age and parity, maternal stress/illness, smoking, alcohol consumption, consumption of contraceptive pills, maternal diet, husband and family support, breast care, type of delivery and hospitalization. when giving birth. Mothers who experience anxiety will cause the let-down reflex to occur, resulting in disruption of breast milk production due to inhibition of the production of the hormones prolactin and oxytocin. This study aims to The relationship between the anxiety level of breastfeeding mothers and the amount of milk production in Mothers who have babies aged 1-12 months in Sigumpar Dangsina Village, Sigumpar Health Center Working Area. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional data collection approach. The population of this study were all breastfeeding mothers who had babies 1-12 months. The sampling technique used is a total sampling of 17 respondents. The data was processed by Spearman correlation test. The results showed p value = 0.003 so p < 0.05 which means that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety of mothers who breastfeed their babies to the amount of milk production in mothers who have babies aged 1-12 months in Sigumpar Dangsina Village, Sigumpar Health Center Work Area. Mothers/Communities and their families support each other in breastfeeding so as not to cause anxiety in breastfeeding mothers

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a pain in the uterus that occurs during menstruation and is one of the most common causes of pelvic pain and menstrual disorders in women. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of young women toward the management of dysmenorrhea in class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Doloksanggul, Doloksanggul District. This type of research is descriptive quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional design. This research was located at SMA Negeri 1 Doloksanggul, Doloksanggul District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The research was conducted in April - May 2023 starting from the initial survey to data processing. With a total population of 219 people and sampling with purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 69 people. Data collection used a questionnaire, then examined and processed using a frequency distribution table. Of the 69 respondents, most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge, as many as 40 people (58.0%), and a small number of respondents had less knowledge, as many as 11 people (15.9%). Most of them had a positive attitude as many as 60 people (87.0%) and a small portion had a negative attitude as many as 9 people (13.0%). Most of them did not treat dysmenorrhea as many as 40 people (58.0%). A small number of 29 (42.0%) handled dysmenorrhea. It is expected that respondents will be able to increase their knowledge and information about dysmenorrhea management such as reading health books, asking health workers, or using facilities such as the internet to find out good dysmenorrhea management efforts.

Abstract

Diet is one of the human behaviors that is carried out every day in meeting the needs in dealing with hypertension sufferers so they can control their habits. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of the elderly about diet and the prevention of hypertension. This type of research is quantitative analytic research with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in April-July 2023. In Hutasoit I Village, Lintong Nihuta District. The population is elderly in Hutasoit I village, 70 people. The accidental sampling technique was taken and used the Slovin and Chi-square formulas with a total sample of 41 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between the elderly's knowledge about diet and the prevention of hypertension with a confidence level of 90% and df = 2, which obtained a chi-square count of 10.812 > chi-square table of 4.605. The attitude variable has a relationship with the prevention of hypertension by using chi-square with a confidence level of 90% and df = 1 obtained chi-square count 8.744 > chi-square table 2.705. It is expected that the respondents will get more information to increase their knowledge and attitudes in increasing the level of health regarding diet towards the prevention of hypertension
