Abstract

HIV/AIDS causes physical problems, such as recurrent infections, growth disorders and malnutrition.HIV/AIDS also causes psychosocial problems, such as being shunned by friends and gettingdiscriminatory behavior. All of the problems described earlier affect children’s mental growth anddevelopment which will affect the quality of life of children with HIV/AIDS.This research is a cross sectional study, conducted at the Intermediate Care Unit of Infection Disease ofChildren Outpatient Clinic in Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya and Voluntary Counselling andTesting Outpatient Clinic in Gresik General Hospital, Probolinggo General Hospital and TrenggalekGeneral Hospital in November 2019-May 2020. Data collected was descriptively, then statisticallyanalyzed by bivariate and multivariate analysis.According to bivariate analysis, factors significantly related to quality of life of children with HIV/AIDS were age, monthly caregiver income, distance between diagnosis and therapy, immunologicalstatus, nutritional status and treatment adherence. Multivariate analysis showed that age (p=0,014,Odds Ratio [OR] 18,780, confidence interval [CI] 1,810-194,844) and treatment adherence (p=0,010,OR 7,823, CI 1,631-37,516) had a significant relationship with the quality of life of children with HIV/AIDS (p <0.05).In conclusion, age, monthly caregiver income, distance between diagnosis and therapy, immunologicalstatus, nutritional status and treatment adherence are significantly related to the quality of life of childrenwith HIV/AIDS. Age and treatment adherence have the most significant relation with the quality of lifeof children with HIV/AIDS .

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to explain the implementation of the local content curriculum implementation policy for Betawi arts in the school environment in Jakarta. The method used is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected from interviews and focus group discussions with educational and community leaders who became research informants. The findings that can be concluded are first,the policy of learning the local content of Betawi arts as a means of transforming Jakarta's local culture has not been implemented effectively in a number of local government-owned schools, both at the junior and senior high school levels, so it still requires further guidance from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government; second, there are still a number of traditional activities, the use of symbols or performances of Betawi cultural arts that are found in formal schools in DKI Jakarta; third, the tradition of using symbols and performing Betawi cultural arts supports and supports the policies of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the community as cultural users.Keywords: Policy Implementation, Local Content Curriculum, Betawi Art, and Formal Education Environment.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to analyze the impulsive paylater payment behavior of Indonesian Islamic University students.Methods – The research method used is descriptive analysis and linear probability model (LPM) analysis with primary data sourced from questionnaires.Findings – The findings in the research show that information media and income have a positive and significant influence on the impulsive behavior of using paylaters for Indonesian Islamic University students, while the ease of procedures and the amount of administration costs do not have a significant influence.Implication – The implication of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of how ease of use, information media, income, and administrative costs jointly influence impulsive behavior. This is an important factor for companies that provide paylater services to consider all factors so that users, especially students, are interested and comfortable with paylater services.Originality – The originality of this research can be used to form regulations regarding the use of paylater in the long term. AbstrakTujuan – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku impulsif pembayaran paylater pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam Indonesia.Metode – Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis model peluang linear (LPM) dengan data primer yang bersumber dari kuisioner.Temuan – Temuan dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media informasi dan pendapatan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku impulsif penggunaan paylater bagi mahasiswa Universitas Islam Indonesia, sedangkan kemudahan prosedur dan besaran biaya administrasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Implikasi – Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman yang menyeluruh tentang bagaimana kemudahan penggunaan, media informasi, pendapatan, dan biaya administrasi secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi perilaku impulsif. Hal ini menjadi faktor penting bagi perusahaan yang menyediakan layanan paylater dapat mempertimbangkan semua faktor agar pengguna, khususnya mahasiswa tertarik dan nyaman dengan layanan paylater.Orisinalitas – Orisinalitas dari penelitian ini mampu digunakan untuk pembentukan regulasi terkait penggunaan paylater dalam jangka panjang.
