Abstract

The number of radical Islamic boarding schools varies greatly depending on which institution is mentioned. This fact is because the standards used between institutions are different. It is important to be careful with labeling Islamic boarding schools as radical, but recklessly accusing Islamic boarding schools of being radical Islamic boarding schools is also dangerous. This research aims to create a valid and reliable radical Islamic boarding school scale so as to create a quality measuring tool. The creation of the scale began by determining indicators for radical Islamic boarding schools with input from representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Religion, Muhammadiyah and Nahdhatul Ulama social organizations in Pekalongan Regency. The resulting radical Islamic boarding school scale is valid and reliable. Tests at Salafi Islamic boarding schools in Jogja did not show any signs of radicalism as labeled, there was only one high indicator, namely rejection of state ceremonials.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the perceptions of Islamic Religious Education students regarding the implementation of Lesson Study-based Field Experience Practices. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects were students of Islamic Religious Education at the State Islamic University of K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan who is currently or has taken the Field Experience Practice course. Data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that Islamic Religious Education students have a positive perception of Lesson Study-based Field Experience Practices. Islamic Religious Education students experience the benefits of lesson study, such as increasing pedagogical, professional, personal and social competencies. However, students also face several obstacles, such as limited time and difficulties in designing collaborative learning.

Abstract

Rendahnya taraf hidup masyarakat pedesaan berdampak terhadap pendidikan terutama generasi penerus bangsa. Berdasarkan data lapangan, sebagian besar masyarakat Desa Penujah berprofesi sebagai petani dan sebagian yang lain bekerja di perantauan. Tingkat pendidikan di Desa Penujah masih terbilang rendah, khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan agama. Kurangnya tenaga pendidik di madrasah diniyah Desa Penujah merupakan sebuah masalah, dengan hal ini mahasiswa UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan mengadakan kegiatan kaderisasi tenaga pendidik di Desa Penujah. Hal ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada pemuda Desa Penujah untuk menyiapkan diri menjadi kader tenaga pendidik madrasah diniyah di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Abstract: Field Experience Practice (PPL) is a compulsory course for the PAI Study Program with a weight of four credits which is carried out for fifty days at school. So far, Lesson Study has been carried out in schools by teachers in order to foster and develop the teaching profession. One of the objectives of implementing PPL based on Lesson Study is to equip students as prospective teachers to practice implementing it in the classroom. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and Forum Group Discussion. The research sample consisted of nine PAI Study Program students who were carrying out PPL. Judging from the implementation of the research, this research is classified as action research based on Lesson Study. The qualitative research data analysis technique refers to the results of field notes including teaching modules and notes on observation and reflection results. The results of the study showed that the implementation of Lesson Study was proven to support the improvement of prospective teacher competencies in compiling teaching materials and managing teaching and learning activities effectively.Keywords: Lesson Study, PPL, PAI.  Abstrak: Bagi Program Studi PAI, Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan mata kuliah wajib bernilai empat SKS yang diselesaikan selama lima puluh hari di sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas hingga saat ini, guru telah menerapkan Lesson Study di sekolah untuk mendukung dan memajukan profesi guru. Tujuan diterapkannya PPL berbasis Lesson Study salah satunya membekali mahasiswa sebagai calon guru untuk berlatih menerapkannya di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui dan Forum Group Discusssion (FGD), wawancara, dan observasi. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas sembilan orang mahasiswa Prodi PAI UIN Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan yang sedang melaksanakan PPL. Ditinjau dari pelaksanaan penelitian, maka penelitian ini digolongkan dalam penelitian tindakan berbasis Lesson Study. Teknik analisis data penelitian kualitatif mengacu pada hasil catatan lapangan meliputi modul ajar dan catatan hasil observasi serta refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan Lesson Study terbukti mendukung peningkatan kompetensi calon guru dalam menyusun perangkat ajar dan mengelola KBM secara efektif.Kata Kunci: Lesson Study, PPL, PAI.

Abstract

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution that has an important role in shaping the character of society. However, the existence of pesantren in a non-Muslim majority society, such as Pondok Pesantren Bani Insani in Bali, presents unique challenges and opportunities. This research aims to understand the pesantren's adaptation strategy in creating social harmony while maintaining Islamic values. With a qualitative approach, this research uses a case study through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive picture. The results showed that Bani Insani Islamic Boarding School faced challenges in the form of religious stereotypes, limited resources, and social and cultural complexity. Nevertheless, this pesantren is able to take advantage of opportunities through the implementation of inclusive education, interfaith dialogue, and empowerment of the local community. These results emphasize the importance of adaptive strategies and cooperation to strengthen the role of pesantren as unifiers in the midst of community diversity.

Abstract

Kasimpar village is part of the Petungkriyono protected forest and is located in the Welo watershed, which is connected to the Sengkarang watershed and has the potential to become a charming ecotourism area. However, this potential makes the area vulnerable to natural disasters, especially landslides and floods during the rainy season. Unfortunately, the level of knowledge and preparedness of the community in dealing with disasters is still relatively low, which can exacerbate the impact of disasters. Landslides and floods that occurred in Kasimpar Village, Petungkriyono Subdistrict, Pekalongan Regency in early 2025 encouraged the community to be early in coping with disasters. This community service aims to increase the capacity of the Kasimpar Village community in dealing with disasters through a community-based disaster mitigation education program. This community service activity was carried out by Real Work Lecture students of UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan and field supervisors and collaborated with BPBD Pekalongan Regency by applying socialization implementation methods including education about disaster mitigation and strategies for forming disaster preparedness volunteer groups. After implementing this community service program, the results showed that the community who participated in disaster mitigation education activities were inspired to form a special team that would be prepared for inauguration as a Disaster Resilient Village (Destana). The community also felt interested during the activities as seen in the enthusiasm in asking questions. This program is expected to become a model for community empowerment in disaster mitigation in other vulnerable areas.
