Abstract

Terapi hemodialisis merupakan pengganti fungsi ginjal yang rusak dan seringkali menyebabkan pasien mengalami gangguan psikologis seperti depresi dan kecemasan. Penelitian ini penting untuk memahami dampak psikologis dari terapi ini pada pasien. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 92 pasien hemodialisis di RSUD Dr. R. Koesma Tuban yang diambil melalui purposive sampling. Pengukuran depresi dan kecemasan dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon psikologis (depresi dan kecemasan) pasien yang menjalani terapi hemodialisis di RSUD Dr. R. Koesma Tuban serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor demografis yang berpengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 53,3% pasien tidak mengalami depresi, sementara 2,2% mengalami depresi berat. Dalam hal kecemasan, 42,4% pasien berada dalam kategori normal, dengan 9,8% mengalami kecemasan sangat berat. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat depresi dan kecemasan dengan karakteristik demografis seperti jenis kelamin dan pendidikan. Sebagian besar pasien hemodialisis di RSUD Dr. R. Koesma Tuban tidak mengalami depresi dan kecemasan yang berat. Dukungan keluarga dan pendidikan tentang terapi hemodialisis dapat berkontribusi dalam meminimalisir masalah psikologis ini.

Abstract

Menstruation is often regarded as a problem in the lives of girls who will enter adolescence. Most women will experience discomfort before menstruation, one of which is premenstrual syndrome (PMS). From a preliminary survey conducted on students of SMP N 3 Tuban, it was found that 4 out of 5 students had premenstrual syndrome (PMS). The purpose of this study was to determine the psychological picture of adolescents with premenstrual syndrome at Junior High School 3 Tuban. The research method used in writing this scientific paper is descriptive analysis with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were students of Junior High School 3 Tuban in the academic year 2021-2022 with a total of 95 respondents and the sampling technique used was total sampling with a sample of 95 students. Analysis of the data used the frequency test. Using the instrument with a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that from 95 respondents, 54 respondents (56.8%) experienced premenstrual syndrome with mild severity, with almost all 83 respondents (87.4%) experiencing irritability, most of 69 respondents (72.6%) experiencing anxiety. , and almost all of the 82 respondents (86.3%) experienced psychological problems with withdrawing The importance of understanding reproductive health education and education about premenstrual syndrome such as causes, effects, and how to deal with premenstrual syndrome. Abstract

Smoking behavior as one of the riskiest behaviors carried out by teenagers has always been a problem throughout the ages. As long as the root cause is still there and supported by various policies that are in favor of the owners of the cigarette industry, during that time the problem of smoking will always exist. One of the districts in East Java with the highest number of smokers is Tuban. This study aims to determine what factors are the most dominant influencing adolescent smoking behavior in Tuban Regency. The population in this study were junior high school youth in the district of Tuban, both smokers and non-smoker. The design in this study was analytic with a Cross-Sectional approach. The population was junior high school youth, both male and female, totaling 2,866, with a sample size of 287 using purposive sampling. The independent variables in this study were gender, puberty status, self-esteem, motivation, health status, work, economy, environment, friends, family, models/role models. Data was collected using a questionnaire compiled by the research team using the Pender Model theory approach. The collected data was analyzed by logistic regression test. The results showed that most of the adolescents did not smoke by 98.61%, more than half of the adolescents were female (58.89%), almost all of them had experienced puberty (96.17%), most of them had negative self-esteem (88.50%), all of whom stated that smoking did not motivate to do activities, all of them stated that they did not smoke during their illness, almost all of them did not have a side job (97.56%), more than half of the parents had income above the minimum wage (53.31%), almost all stated that the environment did not affect smoking behavior (99.30%), almost all stated that friends did not influence smoking behavior (98.95%), almost all stated that family did not influence smoking behavior (99.65%), and almost all stated that their model/role model did not affect smoking behavior (99.65%). Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that all factors had a significance > 0.05 so that there were no factors that significantly influenced smoking behavior in adolescents or in other words there was no dominant factor that significantly affected smoking behavior in adolescents in Tuban district. For related parties such as schools, the health office, health education participate in maintaining and continuing to improve education to adolescents about the dangers of smoking so that adolescents do not engage in behaviors that are more risky to health than the benefits obtained.

Abstract

Implementation of community service regarding hypertension in an effort to prevent cases of chronic kidney failure in Jambangan Village, Jambangan sub-district, Sidoarjo district for health cadres which was carried out in April-July 2024, which was attended by 46 health cadre mothers. which began with singing the song Indonesia Raya. Which was continued with remarks from the Village Head and followed by remarks from Mrs. Tanty Wulan Dari, S.Kep, Ns, M.Kes. The service method uses the empowerment of health cadres through lectures, practice and joint exercise.  Before the main event, the community service team conducted a pre-test with the aim of finding out the knowledge of female health cadres about hypertension and complications of chronic kidney failure and their management for 15 minutes.

Abstract

Adolescents face highly complex problems. Emotional and psychological pressures can lead to deviations from prevailing social norms in the community, such as environmental issues, reproductive health concerns, promiscuous sexual behavior, abortion, and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS. The number of HIV cases in Tuban Regency increased from 53 cases in 2021 to 163 cases in 2022. The aim of this community service program is to improve adolescents’ knowledge and life skills in preventing HIV/AIDS. The methods used included lectures, discussions, games, assignments, and demonstrations, targeting adolescents in Kembangbilo Village, Tuban Regency. The results showed that the average knowledge score on HIV/AIDS prevention life skills before the educational intervention was 42.6, increasing to 65 after the intervention. The average life skills score for HIV/AIDS prevention before the intervention was 53.5, increasing to 68.5 afterward. Empowering adolescent peer educators proved to be highly effective in enhancing life skills for HIV/AIDS prevention. In this era of advanced communication systems, it is crucial to equip adolescents with life skills to prevent HIV/AIDS.
