Abstract

UK-3A is a minor compound from the mycelium of Streptomyces sp.517-02 and had been isolated. It has IC50 38 ?g/mL against P388 Murine Leukemia cells. Products of UK-3A analogues were assigned the name A and B compounds. These compounds were prepared from L-serine methyl ester-HCl as starting material and synthesized by amidation and esterifi cation. The products were determined by TLC, FT-IR, MS and NMR instruments. Theoverall yield was compounds A 95.63% and B 87.10%. The in vitro anticancer activities of compounds A and B against the same Leukemia cells and found to have IC50 46.5?g/mL and 15.4?g/mL, respectively. The compound B exhibited higher inhibitory activity than UK-3A.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan pelajaran mendalam bagi Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Dampak Covid-19 pada UMKM di Kabupaten Muara Enim tidak saja pada aspek keuangan tetapi juga aspek non-keuangan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap UMKM di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Fokus wilayah kajian yaitu Kecamatan Muara Enim, Lawang Kidul dan Ujan Mas. Selain itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengambilan kebijakan pemerintah untuk penanganan dampak Covid–19 terhadap UMKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Indepth interview dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) pada 36 UMKM. Teknik analisis meliputi analisis deskriptif dan analisis naratif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Covid-19 berdampak pada penurunan permintaan dan daya beli masyarakat. Temuan juga membuktikan Pandemi covid-19 menurunkan jumlah pendapatan, keuantungan dan jumlah karyawan pada UMKM di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Sejumlah program pemulihan melalui kebijakan keringanan kredit, bantuan modal usaha, dan program keringanan lainnya untuk menstimulus UMKM yang terdampak Covid-19 selama pandemic telah diupayakan oleh pemerintah daerah. Adapun strategi yang dapat dilakukan pemerintah yaitu perluasan akses pasar, pengembangan kewirausahaan, akselerasi pembiayaan dan investasi, koordinasi lintas sector dan transformasi Ekonomi Digital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving senior high school students’ scientific literacy. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test nonequivalent control group design and was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. The research involved two classes consisting of 35 students each: an experimental class taught using STEM-based PjBL and a control class taught using conventional learning. Scientific literacy was measured using an essay test, while students’ attitudes toward science were assessed through a questionnaire. The results of the independent samples t-test showed no significant difference in students’ initial abilities (sig. = 0.064 > 0.05). However, the post-test results indicated a significant difference between the two groups (sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), with the experimental class achieving a higher mean score. In addition, students’ attitudes toward science in the experimental class were categorized as good to very good. These findings indicate that STEM-based Project-Based Learning is effective in enhancing students’ scientific literacy.
