Abstract

This thesis is entitled Selling Price Regulation of Murabahah Product Case Study: BMT RAMA Salatiga. The objectives of this research are to describe 1) the execution of murabahah transaction at BMT RAMA Salatiga, 2) the method in deciding and applying the selling price of murabahah product, and 3) the policy of BMT on conducting its business based on Islamic principles. This research applied descriptive qualitative design and was conducted based on normative-juridical approach. The subjects of the research were the manager of BMT RAMA Salatiga and the costumers of BMT RAMA who were involved in murabahah transactions. The results show that the execution of murabahah transaction has not been applied well. Basically, wakalah aqad should place the costumer as the representative of BMT to get goods before the aqad is signed. It is applied in order to prevent gharar and to draw a distinction between syariah and conventional banking. In regulating its funding product BMT RAMA considers some components such as risks of fund, cost of fund, operational cost, annual profit target, annual funding target, and competition rates. However, the cost of fund component has the consequence of interests which need to be considered in determining murabahah margin. This consequence is absolutely inapropriate with MUI instruction no. 1 year 2004, which forbids interests because of its belonging to riba. Unfortunately, the DPS assistance is still insufficient on this matter.

Abstract

Economic growth that has not yet fully recovered due to COVID-19 requires creative economic policies that can elevate public sectors that have not been a priority. On the other hand, digital technology is recognized as a breakthrough in upgrading progress in various aspects. This conceptual paper aims to synthesize the role of digital technology in developing the halal industry through the use of the blue economy in the form of a global halal hub policy in Indonesia. This research was conducted in a structured and systematic descriptive manner. A study of various Scopus articles found that supply chain traceability in the halal industry requires a guarantee of halal product guarantees from upstream to consumers. Facing high global halal growth, it is necessary to synergize the role of land, sea, and air logistics with information technology and economic digitization systems. Through the development of digitalization of the blue economy, the Indonesian global halal hub can be an alternative to improving logistics routes for halal products in international trade with guaranteed supply chains that are controlled through information technology systems so that information openness between agents will emerge and can automatically accelerate domestic and international economic growth. The novelty of this research is that it synergizes the potential of the blue economy sector, which has not been studied much for the development of the halal industry at the global level. This can be a reference so that the involvement of the blue economy role is also prioritized in making halal logistics policies.

Abstract

The problem related to waqf that is being faced now is that the gap between the potential of cash waqf and the reality of the cash waqf movement is still far away, so there is a need to increase waqf literacy, especially cash waqf. The service method is carried out by socialization, and in the next stage, an evaluation is carried out using the Paired Sample t-test. The service results show an increase in understanding of the academic community of IAIN Salatiga before and after the socialization of waqf literacy. In addition, there needs to be innovation in distributing waqf knowledge to all elements of the Muslim community. There are suggestions from the results of the dedication evaluation that the socialization of waqf must be massive, especially in campus areas and Islamic boarding schools. Furthermore, socialization is carried out innovatively by utilizing social media so that it will be straightforward to reach young people, millennials, or generation Z.
