Abstract

Diarrhea disease is a disease whose morbidity and mortality are still high to date. One of the Puskesmas with the highest incidence of diarrhea is UPT Puskesmas Selatbaru with 573 cases of diarrhea. the purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of diarrheal disease. Quantitative research type with cross sectional design. The research was conducted in 2022 with a sample of 98 people. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between latrine ownership (p value = 0.000) and ownership of SPAL (p value = 0.025) to the incidence of diarrhea. It is expected for UPT Puskesmas Selatbaru, especially the environmental health program, to increase monitoring activities or environmental health inspections on community members in its working area, as well as health promotion programs to be able to increase counseling or promotion related to the prevention of diarrheal diseases.Keywords: Diarrhea, Latrine, SPAL

Abstract

Hiperkolesterolemia adalah suatu kondisi kadar kolesterol total di dalam darah melebihi batas normal. Hiperkolesterolemia pada usia remaja seperti sekarang ini sangat banyak terjadi. Saat ini banyak remaja dengan hiperkolesterolemia tidak mengetahui terhadap pentingnya modifikasi gaya hidup sehat sebagai pengendalian terhadap pentingnya modifikasi gaya hidup sehat sebagai pengendalian terhadap penyakitnya. Di indonesia, kasus hiperkolesterolemia pada remaja meningkat, berdasarkan data Riskesdas(2018) menunjukkan bahwa hiperkolesterolemia pada pelajar sekitar 10-11%. Prevalensi ini meningkat sekitar 23-40%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan remaja tentang hiperkolesterolemia di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Parepare. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasy Eksperimen dengan rancangan One-group pre-test dan post-test design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 2 Kota Parepare. Data yang dikumpulkan diolah dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel deskriptif dan narasi atau penjelasan menggunakan program Statistic Package For Social Science(SPSS) versi 25. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis Bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Paired sampel t-test mean perbedaan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai rerata pada pre-test dengan nilai 9,58 saat post-test meningkat menjadi 11,9. Disarankan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan informasi melalui literasi dengan membaca buku, artikel dan media sosial yang berkaitan dengan kolesterol dan dampaknya pada kesehatan untuk memperdalam pemahaman. Abstract

Food handlers play an important role in ensuring food quality and safety. Their lack of awareness of healthy behavior, personal hygiene, equipment, and food sanitation are the main causes of food contamination. This study aims to determine the level of microbial contamination in canteen snacks and the behavior of food handlers at SMA Negeri 2 Barru, in order to show that the food processed does not contain bacteria due to the behavior of food handlers. The research method used quantitative analytics with a descriptive approach. Respondents consisted of 10 food handlers in the school canteen. For the examination of food samples such as tofu stuffed meatballs, stuffed tofu, bakwan, carrot bakwan, wonton skin, somay and Salmonella content identification was carried out at the Makassar Public Health Center (BBLK). The results showed that 70% of the handlers did not know the importance of sanitary hygiene principles, 40% did not know the correct action if they found insects in the kitchen, and 70% did not know the importance of not using accessories when touching food. The results of the examination of food samples showed that the food served by the canteen food handlers met the requirements because it was negative for Sallmonela bacteria. This study found several things that did not meet the requirements of hygiene and sanitation principles, some of which included food handlers not knowing the correct action if they found insects in the kitchen, the importance of not using accessories when touching food, and how to store raw and cooked food separately in the refrigerator. It is also necessary to ensure cutlery and drinking utensils are clean before use and understand the different roles in payment acceptance. It is expected that school canteen owners pay more attention to the process of washing cutlery, change cloths regularly, store cutlery in a closed and non-moisturized place, and provide enough water to clean cutlery. Abstract

Hygiene menjadi salah satu aspek terpenting bagi setiap orang, kebersihan diri berfungsi untuk meminimalkan resiko terhadap kemungkinan terjangkitnya suatu penyakit, terutama penyakit yang berhubungan dengan kebersihan diri yang buruk sehingga tentunya dibutuhkan sanitasi sebagai usaha pencegahan penyakit dengan cara menghilangkan atau mengatur faktor- faktor lingkungan yang berkaitan dengan rantai perpindahan penyakit yang dapat disebabkan oleh paparan Heat Stres yang terjadi apabila tubuh sudah tidak mampu menyeimbangkan suhu tubuh normal karena besarnya beban panas dari luar. Berdasarkan isu dan permasalahan dilokasi penelitian maka dirumuskan tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui aspek hygiene, sanitasi dan kondisi paparan Heat Stres terhadap pedagang di Pasar Sudu, Kecematan Alla, Kabupaten Enrekang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah sample 52 pedagang dengan kriteria khusus menggunakan penentuan sampel purposive sampling dan menggunakan instrument penelitian kuesioner dan observasi dengan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Aspek hygiene Pasar Sudu dalam mematuhi standar persyaratan kesehatan lingkungan Pasar berada pada kategori tidak memenuhi syarat. 2) Aspek sanitasi Pasar Sudu dalam memenuhi standar persyaratan kesehatan lingkungan Pasar berada pada kategori tidak memenuhi syarat. 3) Paparan Heat Stres terhadap pedagang di Pasar Sudu menunjukkan bahwa lebih banyak pedagang yang tidak terpapar Heat Stres.

Abstract

Paparan NO2 yang bersumber dari asap kendaraan bermotor telah menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang sering dikeluhkan oleh juru parkir di Kota Parepare yang dapat mempengaruhi gangguan pernapasan dan iritasi mata mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsentasi NO2 pada lingkungan petugas parkir, untuk mengetahui dampak paparan nitrogen dioksida terhadap gangguan pernapasan pada juru parkir serta untuk mengetahui dampak paparan NO2 terhadap iritasi mata pada petugas parkir di Kota Parepare. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode analisis risiko kesehatan lingkungan dengan jumlah sample 19 juru parkir terbagi pada tiga titik pasar sumpang, pasar senggol dan pasar lakessi. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuesioner, alat ukur dan observasi dengan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Konsentrasi NO2 pada lingkungan petugas parkir di Kota Parepare belum melampaui ambang batas yang dapat di toleransi maka paparan tidak berdampak terhadap penyakit pada petugas parkir di Kota Parepare. 2) Paparan NO2 tidak berdampak pada gangguan pernapasan juru parkir Kota Parepare. 3 juru parkir menderita gangguan pernapasan disebabkan oleh faktor lainnya diluar pekerjaan sebagai Juru Parkir. 3) Paparan NO2 tidak berdampak pada iritasi mata petugas parkir di Kota Parepare, 4 juru parkir yang menderita iritasi mata disebapkan oleh faktor lainnya diluar jam kerja sebagai juru parkir. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu paparan NO2 tidak berdampak terhadap kejadian penyakit pada petugas parkir, serta saran yang diberikan ialah agar petugas parkir selalu memperhatikan kesehatan mereka dengan menggunakan masker dan pelindung mata untuk mencegah paparan NO2 pada saat bekerja.

Abstract

Abstract: Nutrition issues in Indonesia remain one of the top priorities in the national health development agenda, particularly efforts to control stunting. Stunting cases in West Java Province remain high and constitute one of the nutrition issues requiring serious attention. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between family support and health promotion efforts on stunting prevention behavior. The research design used in this study is cross-sectional. The study was conducted in Dramaga District in July 2024. The population consisted of all families with infants, totaling 300 households. The sample size was 87 respondents. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results of the study indicate a relationship between family support (p-value: 0.014) and health promotion efforts (p-value: 0.032) and stunting prevention behavior. It is recommended that health workers enhance education on stunting, the importance of family support, and stunting prevention methods by conducting more frequent prenatal classes and providing education during prenatal check-ups to help reduce stunting rates.Keywords: Family Support, Health Promotion, Stunting/

Abstract

Background: Based on WHO data, it is known that nearly 40% of deadly diseases in all countries are related to poor water quality, there are around 2.6 million people worldwide die each year due to diseases caused by dirty water or water that does not meet health requirements. Zinc and Iron are essential mineral substances needed by the body, but in excess amounts will cause poisoning. This deficiency causes growth disorders, affects sexual maturation, susceptibility to infections, diarrhea, and annually causes the death of approximately 800,000 children worldwide. The second most common cause of diarrhea after rotavirus is infection due to the bacteria Escherichia coli, the annual incidence of diarrhea in children is estimated at 2.5 billion, and more than half of it is found in Africa and South Asia and the consequences of this disease are more severe and deadly. Globally every year this disease causes the death of children under five of 1.6 million. Objective: The aim of this study is to identify to map the Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe) and Escherichia Coli Content in Clean Water Sources with a Spatial Ecological Risk Assessment Analysis in Tungka Village Enrekang District, Enrekang Regency. Methods: This research is descriptive observational, to identify and map the content of zinc (Zn), iron (Fe) and Escherichia Coli in clean water sources in Tungka Village, Enrekang District, Enrekang Regency and calculate the ecological risk assessment. The research design used an ecological risk assessment approach. Sampling was carried out at 6 different points. Results: The results obtained in this study, the amount of zinc content still met the quality standard requirements, namely <3 mg / l of the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation No.492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010 for zinc content, namely 3 mg / l, with a risk index ecological potential, namely PERI = ∑E_r ^ i (0.831) <150 with low risk category. The iron content is still below the standard, namely <0.3 mg / l, the standard Permenkes RI No.492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010 for iron content is 0.3 mg / l, with a potential ecological risk index of PERI = ∑E_r ^ i (0.1797) <150 with low risk category. Meanwhile, the content of escerchia coli does not meet the requirements, namely> 0CFU / ml quality standards, namely the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation No.492 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010 for the content of E. coli, namely 0 CFU / ml. With a risk index, namely PERI = ∑E_r ^ i (46,7.10-6)> 1.10-6 with a very high risk category
