Bencana bisa disebabkan oleh faktor alam, non alam, serta faktor manusia sehingga mengakibatkan timbulnya korban jiwa manusia, kerusakan lingkungan, kerugian harta benda, dan dampak psikologis. Efikasi diri yang baik bagi perawat berpotensi meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kesiapsiagaan bencana pada perawat rumah sakit. Penelitian ini berdesain deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik convenience sampling diterapkan untuk merekrut 152 perawat dari sebuah rumah sakit umum di Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia. Kuesioner yang digunakan: General Self Efficacy (GSE) dan Disaster Preparedness Evaluation Tool (DPET). Korelasi Rank Spearman digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan kesiapsiagaan bencana (r=0,213; p=0,102). Efikasi diri perawat tergolong tinggi, sedangkan kesiapsiagaan perawat berada pada level sedang. Secara umum, efikasi diri tidak berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana perawat rumah sakit. Minimnya pengalaman kebencanaan sangat berpotensi menjadi hal yang memediasi kepercayaan diri perawat terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana. Konsistensi keyakinan perawat dalam usaha menghadapi tantangan dan kesulitan terkait kebencanaan perlu dipertahankan, namun dibutuhkan juga peningkatan kemampuan mendapatkan ide lebih banyak dalam penyelesaiannya. Intervensi efektif guna meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana seperti pelatihan dan simulasi rutin sangat direkomendasikan.

Tuberculosis (TB) according to the World Heallth Orgalnizaltion (WHO) as the second deadly disease in the world in 2021 after Covid-19, and became the 13th (thirteen) as the main cause of death worldwide. Indonesia is ranked third in the world with the highest burden of TB cases after India and China. The trend of tuberculosis case finding rates for all types per 100,000 population in Lampung Province during 2016-2020 tends to increase. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of socioeconomic and environmental factors to the incidence of tuberculosis. The type of research was quantitative with a case control approach. The research was conducted in September-October 2023 at UPTD Puskesmas Tanjung Agung. The sample amounted to 58 respondents (29 case groups and 29 control groups). The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire sheet. The results showed that there was a relationship between economic status (p value: 0.009) and home hygiene (p value: 0.001). It is recommended that the Health Office carry out early detection of pulmonary tuberculosis problems routinely, in addition to carrying out preventive, promotive efforts in preventing pulmonary tuberculosis. The government, in this case the UPTD Puskesmas Tanjung Agung, conducts counseling about pulmonary tuberculosis and the dangers of smoking. The government also tries to implement programs to improve the economic status of the community as a priority or program.

Diarrhea disease is a disease whose morbidity and mortality are still high to date. One of the Puskesmas with the highest incidence of diarrhea is UPT Puskesmas Selatbaru with 573 cases of diarrhea. the purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of diarrheal disease. Quantitative research type with cross sectional design. The research was conducted in 2022 with a sample of 98 people. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between latrine ownership (p value = 0.000) and ownership of SPAL (p value = 0.025) to the incidence of diarrhea. It is expected for UPT Puskesmas Selatbaru, especially the environmental health program, to increase monitoring activities or environmental health inspections on community members in its working area, as well as health promotion programs to be able to increase counseling or promotion related to the prevention of diarrheal diseases.Keywords: Diarrhea, Latrine, SPAL

Based on document searches, Puskesmas Meuraxa is one of the Puskesmas with the highest TB cases in Aceh Province. It is known that there were 52 cases of TB during 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence coping mechanisms with adherence to taking medication in patients with tuberculosis. The design of this study was cross sectional. The research time began in November 2022. The sample amounted to 52 people who were collected using random sampling technique. Data analysis used is univariate and bivariate. The results of the study with statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between respondents' knowledge about Tb (p value: 0.001), family support (p value: 0.016) and coping mechanisms (p value: 0.001) with Tb patient compliance. It is recommended that patients who will undergo Pulmonary TB treatment should adhere to a predetermined schedule of taking medication and be able to manage stress well and for the family for the family to provide support and motivation in undergoing treatment and providing all the needs of the patient.Keywords: Family support, Knowledge, Tuberculosis

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease that occurs due to very high blood sugar levels. Based on data search, it is known that Pulomerak Health Center is the health center with the highest DM cases in Cilegon City with 920 cases. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between individual characteristics and comorbidities with the quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus. The type of research is quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The research was conducted in May 2023 at Pulomerak Health Center. The sample amounted to 163 people. The sampling technique used probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed that there was a relationship between individual characteristics, namely age (p value: 0.009) and comorbidities (p value: 0.000) on the quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus. It is recommended for diabetics to not only carry out examinations related to DM disease but comorbidities suffered also really need to be checked to monitor their health conditions so as to prevent complications and not interfere with daily activities which will then have a positive impact on their quality of life and for Puskesmas to improve health services to DM sufferers not only in DM treatment but also can pay attention to the quality of life.Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Comorbidities, Age.

Abstract: Malaria is an infectious disease that continues to be a major challenge in public health. The Silau Laut Health Center working area shows that several villages, especially in Silo Baru village, have a high risk of malaria. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of aspects of physical environmental factors (Presence of Swamps) and behavior to the incidence of malaria in endemic areas. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted at the Silau Laut Health Center. The research was conducted in September 2023. The study population is all people in the working area of the Silau Laut District Health Center, which is 23,356 people. The sample amounted to 68 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between the presence of swamps (p value: 0.000) and the behavior of using mosquito nets (p value: 0.046) to the incidence of malaria. It is recommended that the community pay more attention to the environmental conditions around the house by carrying out environmental management activities to reduce the potential existence of breeding places and resting places. These activities can include hoarding, draining, cleaning and draining clogged waterways and trimming bushes.Keywords: Swamp Presence, Malaria, Mosquito Net Use

Abstract: Stroke is the second leading cause of death in Indonesia after heart disease, with the incidence rate increasing every year. Based on data search from Stella Maris Hospital Makassar, it is known that the number of stroke patients totals 168 people. Patients who experienced recurrent stroke amounted to 43 people. While patients who died from recurrent stroke amounted to 17 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of recurrent stroke. The research design used in this study is Case Control. The research was conducted at Stella Maris Hospital Makassar. The research was conducted in March 2023. The study population was patients who had a stroke and who were in the Stella Maris Makassar Hospital area who met the criteria that could be studied. The sample amounted to 53 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between age (p value: 0.048) and history of hypertension (p value: 0.000). It is suggested that the hospital can publicize to the wider community the impact caused by hypertension if not treated properly and quickly because it can lead to stroke.Keywords: Hipertensi, Stroke, Age.

Abstract: Hypertension is one of the most common medical conditions encountered in primary health care in many parts of the world. Patient compliance and non-compliance in undergoing treatment can affect patient recovery. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the level of treatment compliance in hypertensive patients. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted at the Tanakeke Health Center Work Area in July 2024. The population is all hypertensive patients who come for treatment to the Health Center totaling 198 people. The sample amounted to 66 people. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between family support (p value: 0.000) and treatment motivation (p value: 0.000). It is recommended for the patient's family to provide support and motivation to patients with hypertension, so that the patient has the enthusiasm to recover.Keywords: Hypertension, Family, Motivation

Abstract: Adolescents who are at a productive age today are increasingly vulnerable to the risk of degenerative diseases, especially type 2 diabetes mellitus, due to unhealthy lifestyles. Based on an initial survey conducted by researchers on adolescents in several high school interviews, 7 out of 10 students have the behavior of often eating fast food or junk food, 9 out of 10 students drink sweet drinks such as iced tea more than once a day, 6 out of 10 students lack physical activity every day, and 3 out of 10 students have a history of Diabetes Mellitus with GDA ≥140 ml/dl. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship of risky behavior to the risk of developing type 2 diabetes mellitus in adolescents. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted in 5 high schools in Samarinda City. The research was conducted in September 2024. The population was all high school students in 5 high schools in Samarinda City. The sample amounted to 57 respondents. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between risky behavior (p value: 0.000) and the incidence of diabetes mellitus in adolescents. It is recommended for adolescents to increase physical activity, maintain a healthy diet by limiting fast food.Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Risk Behavior, Adolescents.

Abstract: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by increased blood glucose levels as a result of impaired insulin secretion, insulin resistance. Based on data from the Padangsidimpuan City Health Office, there were 885 cases in 2020, an increase to 921 cases in 2021, and a sharp jump to 2,276 cases in 2022. The purpose of the study was to determine the correlation between the duration of diabetes mellitus and the level of self-care of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted at the Sidangkal Health Center work area in July 2023. The population was 226 people with diabetes mellitus at Sidangkal Health Center. The sample amounted to 145 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was non probability sampling with purposive sampling method. Data analysis was done univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between the length of time suffering from DM (p value: 0.04). It is recommended that respondents can increase efforts to obtain useful information and insights to improve self-care for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Keywords: Diabetes, length of stay, level of self-care
