Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the condition of the marketing mix in vocational senior high schools and to determine the simultaneous dan partial influence of product, price, location, promotion, people, facilities, and processes on the student's decisions in choosing vocation senior high school also which of the marketing mix variable has the dominant influence. The purpose of marketing in education was to build a good school image that will attract new students, marketing mix in education elements can be controlled by organizations to communicate with students and can be used to satisfy the students. The research method is quantitative research, using 195 respondents as a sample with a simple random sampling technique. Data gathering using questioner, documenting, and observation. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis test, F test, and t-test. Results showed the simultaneous product, price, location, promotion, people, facilities, and processes influence the decisions of students, which is a positive and significant influence. Partially, products, price, location, promotion, and physical evidence have a positive and significant influence, but people and processes have no significant influence on the decisions of students. Further research could be done by adding an independent variable so it would gain another variable that influences students of school choice, for example, school image, the influence of family, etc.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to develop the material on national insight in the hidden curriculum. (2) Examining the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the integration of national insight in hidden curriculum. The method used in this research is development research (R&D / Research and Development). This study raises based on the theory that setted up by Borg and Gall by using 9 steps in the study. The sampling in this research is using probability sampling techniques with 75 students as the sample. The data collection technique in this study is using a questionnaire. The technique that applied in this research is one sample t-test technique. The results of this study are (1) this development research is able to integrate national insight into the hidden curriculum, (2) the validity value obtained from the national insight material is 83 and is declared feasible. The practicality value obtained from the national insight material is 86%. The development of this material in the hidden curriculum was declared effective by the difference in the mean of the pretest results of 71,32 and the posttest results of 81,48. So, it can be concluded that the national insight is very feasible and effective to applied in the hidden curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku teks teologi / aqidah Islam untuk siswa sekolah menengah berbasis strategi Reading, Encoding, Annotating, Pondering disingkat REAP . Dengan adanya pengembangan buku ajar ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah menengah dalam menghadapi tantangan ideologis di zaman modern ini, sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangkan buku ajar yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran Aqidah menggunakan strategi REAP. Penelitian pengembangan atau R&D (Research & Development) ini menggunakan model Plomp, yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap penyelidikan awal, tahap prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil validasi buku ajar Akidah berbasis strategi REAP pada bab "Wujud dan Keesaan Allah" rata-rata seluruh aspek sebesar 88,4% yang berarti buku teks “sangat layak”. Berdasarkan uji coba skala besar diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 82,9 yang menunjukkan bahwa aqidah berbasis strategi REAP dapat dilaksanakan dengan efektif.

Abstract

Whether an educational institution develops or not depends on its performance. To improve this performance, many things are done, including how leaders help improve institutional performance in developing competitiveness, one of which is through benchmarking. From this, researchers want to know whether there is a relationship between benchmarking and institutional performance. This research aims to determine the relationship between benchmarking and performance at one State Madrasah Aliyah in East Java. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data collection method uses a Likert scale. The population and sample use a saturated sample technique or a total sample with 35 respondents. The data analysis technique uses Product Moment correlation. This research shows a relationship between benchmarking and institutional performance with evidence of a product-moment correlation value of 0.430 with a significance value of 0.010 (p < 0.05), which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This research provides implications for benchmarking and institutional performance in competitiveness development.
