Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explain the implementation of Lesson Study in learning the sine rule in class XI. Lesson Study is a system that has long been implemented and developed in Japan. Lesson study is not a learning method or strategy, but a lesson study activity that can apply various learning methods or strategies that are appropriate to the situation, conditions, and problems faced by the teacher. This research is related to the 2013 learning curriculum and determines the context of the learning content with the Problem-Based learning model. The method used is descriptive. This research was conducted on students of class XI at SMK Kartika XIX-3 Cirebon City. The activities in this study consisted of four stages; Plan, Do, See and Redesign. The results of this study indicate that learning with Lesson Study can help students understand the concept of the sine rule. Keywords: Lesson study, Mathematics, Sine Rule Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan implementasi Lesson Study dalam pembelajaran aturan sinus di kelas XI. Lesson Study adalah sistem yang telah lama diterapkan dan dikembangkan di Jepang. Lesson study bukan metode atau strategi pembelajaran, tetapi kegiatan lesson study yang dapat menerapkan berbagai metode atau strategi pembelajaran yang tepat dengan situasi, kondisi, dan masalah yang dihadapi guru. Penelitian ini terkait dengan kurikulum pembelajaran 2013 dan menentukan konteks pada konten pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas XI di SMK Kartika XIX-3 Kota Cirebon. Kegiatan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahap; Plan, Do, See dan Redesign. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan Lesson Study dapat membantu peserta didik memahami konsep aturan sinus. Kata Kunci: Lesson study, Matematika, Aturan Sinus

Abstract

Mathematical connection ability is one of the important skills in learning mathematics. When students are able to relate mathematical ideas, their understanding of mathematics deepens and lasts longer. Based on the data in the field, it was found that students were still unable to recognize and relate mathematical ideas. During mathematics learning, behaviors that lead to math anxiety and lack of self-confidence were also found. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' mathematical connection abilities in terms of self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research using mathematical connection test aids, self-efficacy questionnaires, and mathematics anxiety questionnaires to collect data. The subjects in this study were 6 students of SMK majoring in TBSM. The results showed that students who have high, medium, and low self-efficacy can meet 3 indicators of mathematical connection ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa yang masih rendah dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan pencapaian kemandirian belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model inkuiri berbantuan aplikasi microsoft math solver dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design serta menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTsN 11 Cirebon Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan 36 siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 38 siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji independent sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model inkuiri berbantuan aplikasi microsoft math solver lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan model konvensional serta hasil capaian kemandirian belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model inkuiri berbantuan aplikasi microsoft math solver lebih baik dari pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan model konvensional.

Abstract

Masalah yang terjadi yaitu sedikitnya alternatif pembelajaran pada masa pandemi mengakibatkan makin sulitnya memahami pelajaran matematika terutama pada materi transformasi geometri submateri rotasi yang seharusnya pembelajaran terjadi secara interaktif namun tidak terlaksana. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat media pembelajaran matematika berbasis aplikasi android pada materi transformasi geometri dengan submateri rotasi kelas IX. Research and Development merupakan jenis dari penelitian ini serta mengadopsi model ADDIE (Analysis, Desaign, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan tujuan mengetahui kelayakan serta respon peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala likert modifikasi dengan menghilangkan pilihan netral. Kelayakan media pembelajaran akan divalidai oleh 2 ahli materi dan 2 ahli media, dan respon peserta didik menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan 12 peserta didik kelas 9C. Namun karena keterbatasan penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap implementasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa media pembelajaran matematika berbasis aplikasi android untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pada materi transformasi geometri kelas IX. Kelayakan pada media pembelajaran memperoleh skor total 188 dengan persentase 94% kategori “Sangat Layak” sedangkan respon peserta didik memperoleh skor total 215 dengan persentase 89.58% kategori “Sangat Baik”. The problem that occurs is that the lack of learning alternatives during the pandemic makes it increasingly difficult to understand mathematics lessons, especially in the rotational submaterial geometry transformation material, which should be taught interactively but is not implemented. The purpose of this research is to create an android application-based mathematics learning media on geometry transformation material with rotation submaterial for class IX. Research and Development is a type of this research and adopts the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with the aim of knowing the feasibility and responses of students. Collecting data using a modified Likert scale questionnaire by eliminating the neutral choice. The feasibility of learning media will be validated by 2 material experts and 2 media experts, and student responses using purposive sampling technique with 12 students in grade 9C. However, due to the limitations of this research, it is only up to the implementation stage. This research produces a product in the form of an android application-based mathematics learning media to improve understanding of concepts in the geometry transformation material for class IX. The feasibility of learning media obtained a total score of 188 with a percentage of 94% in the "Very Eligible" category while the student responses obtained a total score of 215 with a percentage of 89.58% in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

Meningkatnya penggunaan media pembelajaran digital dalam pendidikan dasar menyoroti pentingnya memahami respons siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meneliti respons siswa terhadap penggunaan lembar kerja elektronik siswa (e-LKPD) berbasis Liveworksheets di sebuah sekolah dasar di Thailand. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan penelitian deskriptif digunakan, melibatkan 26 siswa kelas empat di Sekolah Suntisart Wittaya, Yala, Thailand. Data dihimpun menggunakan kuesioner respons siswa 10 item dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif melalui perhitungan persentase. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa respons siswa dikategorikan baik, dengan skor 74,25% untuk indikator format, 74,50% untuk relevansi, 73% untuk kepercayaan diri, dan 74,50% untuk minat, menghasilkan respons rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 74%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa e-LKPD berbasis Liveworksheets dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif sebagai media pembelajaran digital alternatif untuk mendukung keterlibatan siswa dan pembelajaran interaktif di kelas matematika sekolah dasar. The increasing use of digital learning media in elementary education highlights the importance of understanding student responses to technology-based learning materials. This study aims to examine student responses to the use of Liveworksheets-based electronic student worksheets (e-LKPD) in an elementary school in Thailand. This study used a descriptive research approach, involving 26 fourth-grade students at Suntisart Wittaya School, Yala, Thailand. Data were collected using a 10-item student response questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis through percentage calculations. The results showed that student responses were categorized as good, with scores of 74.25% for the format indicator, 74.50% for relevance, 73% for confidence, and 74.50% for interest, resulting in an overall average response of 74%. These findings indicate that Liveworksheets-based e-LKPD can be effectively utilized as an alternative digital learning medium to support student engagement and interactive learning in elementary school mathematics classes.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan guru di SD Negeri 3 Panembahan, Kecamatan Plered, Kabupaten Cirebon, Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam memanfaatkan Goole Sites sebagai media pembelajaran digital. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk mendorong guru mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang mendukung keterampilan abad 21 seperti kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan berpikir kritis. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan platform digital untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan yang dilaksnakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu pelaksanaan (identifikasi kebutuhan, penyusunan modul, dan koordinasi), pelaksnaan (seminar, pelatihan, praktik, dan diskusi) dan evaluasi (penilaian, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi hasil). Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam membuat dan mengelola media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites. Guru menjadi terampil dalam mengembangkan konten interaktif yang mendukung pembelajaran digital. Selain itu umpan balik dari peserta menunjukkan kepuasaan terhadap materi dan metode pelatihan yang diterapkan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap kesiapan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The implementation of Community Service activities, especially in the SMP Negeri 2 Sumber school, is a form of our concern for students so that they avoid juvenile delinquency. According to Amdadi et al. (2021), adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood, and during this period, there have been various physiological, social, and emotional changes. They want freedom so that they can cause conflicts within themselves, so they need a way to understand the essence and way of thinking of teenagers. We hope that this socialization can be a provision for students in facing their adolescence because, in this activity, we give them an overview of what they will face when they step on teenagers, the types of juvenile delinquency, the impact of juvenile delinquency, and solutions when facing a problem. This service involved field supervisors, pamong teachers, and PPL students. We carry out pretest (before) and posttest (after) this service to ensure our research's scientific rigor and validity. The results of the pretest and posttest that we conducted showed an increase in students' understanding of the impact of juvenile delinquency so they were more vigilant in socializing.

Abstract

The low mathematical literacy of junior high school students in Indonesia remains a challenge, as reflected in PISA results that consistently place Indonesia at the bottom in mathematical reasoning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assisted by H5P interactive videos in improving mathematical literacy compared to PBL without digital media. A quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was applied to two grade VIII classes of a state junior high school in Cirebon, each consisting of 36 students. The instrument was a mathematical literacy test based on three PISA indicators: formulating, employing, and interpreting. Data analysis included normality, homogeneity, and an Independent Samples T-Test, supported by N-gain calculation. The results showed no significant difference in pre-test scores between the groups, indicating comparable initial ability. However, the experimental class achieved an N-gain of 0.71 (medium–high category), higher than the control class of 0.38 (low–medium category), with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings confirm that integrating H5P into PBL significantly improves students' mathematical literacy. The study concludes that interactive media serve not only as a learning aid but also as a pedagogical tool that fosters participatory, contextual, and meaningful learning, providing practical recommendations for mathematics teachers to adopt innovative digital approaches.
