Abstract

Main Objectives: This study emphasizes the authority of a Kyai lies in the integration between the charismatic leadership and society’s compliance. The background problem of this study is whether charisma is fundamentally a result of the attributes of a leader, the situational circumstance, or a process of interaction between the leader and society? The novelty of this research is the concept of how a leader becomes charismatic and subordinates other people’s perceptions & compliance. The research method for this study is a quantitative method, with two variables and it is strengthened by a qualitative method with one variable. Qualitatively, the data about the charisma of leaders are collected through interviews, and it was then analyzed by screening, display, and interpretation. Quantitatively, the data about perception & the impact of a leader’s charisma are collected by use of a questionnaire, after the data passed the tests of validity, normality, linearity, percentage formula, average formula and then analyzed as well as hypothesis testing by a simple regression formula to determine the level of influence. The findings of this study are: (1) the seven efforts of a charismatic leader namely glory, blessings, confidence, obedience to the God, efficacy, having influence, and the ability to predict the future, (2) the society’s perception of the charisma of leaders is average and tends to be poor and (3) the impact of the leader’s charisma on society is only 19.9%, which shows it has a poor influence. Conclusion: The data agreed with the meaning of the term charismatic relationship. The implication of the results of this study is that society’s compliance with its leaders’ wishes is very dependent on the perception or relationship between them.

Abstract

Peran guru di era globalisasi menjadi sangat sentral terutama dalam memberikan penguatan nilai. Adanya pewaris nilai negatif melalui media dan publik figur turut mempengaruhi karakter siswa yang bertentangan dengan nilai luhur agama dan moralitas bangsa yang diajarkan di sekolah. Kondisi tersebut tentu membuat degradasi nilai dikalangan siswa semakin terasa. Kondisi ini perlu dicarikan solusi baru dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman di era globalisasi. Adapun upaya pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Tujuannya untuk melakukan pengamatan yang cermat terhadap fenomena sosial tertentu yang kemudian di eksplore dan di interpretasikan sesuai fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan yang kaitannya dengan peran guru di era globalisasi yang semakin mendapat banyak tantangan nilai dan karakter. Memasuki era disrupsi dan kemajuan teknologi yang mengglobal peran guru harus diperkuat lagi dengan penanaman nilai yang lebih efektif agar terciptanya karakter yang baik. Guru sebagai pewaris nilai harus bisa membangun komunitas moral dan intervensi dikelas maupun diluar kelas secara berulang-ulang dengan berpikir positif dan optimis bahwa suatu saat nanti apa yang dikerjakannya akan membawa hasil cepat ataupun lambat. Dengan penanaman nilai melalui intervensi dan keteladanan guru diharapkan kondisi remaja Indonesia siap menghadapi tantangan globalisasi guna menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0 yang berkemajuan dan berkarakter. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan fakta tentang:1) peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca peserta didik; 2) pola pendidikan dari orang tua dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca peserta didik; dan 3) hambatan yang dialami oleh orang tua dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode  atau pendekatan studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) peran orangtua dalam upaya meningkatkan literasi membaca yakni orangtua sebagai pembimbing dan mendidik anak, orangtua sebagai guru dan teladan bagi anak, orangtua sebagai fasilitator, orangtua sebagai motivator, orangtua sebagai sahabat dan dapat berkomunikasi dengan anak secara efektif dan peran orangtua sebagai pemberi reward dan punishment; 2) Pola pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca peserta didik yaitu otoriter, demokrasi, dan permisif; dan 3) Hambatan yang dialami oleh orangtua seperti terlalu banyak tugas sekolah yang diberikan pada anak sehingga anak  merasa kesulitan dan malas belajar di rumah,  belum adanya kesadaran akan pentingnya membaca dan belajar pada diri anak sehingga sebagian besar anak perlu diperintah dulu untuk belajar atau membaca serta kesibukan orangtua bekerja juga membuat orangtua kurang optimal dalam memperhatikan, membimbing dan mendidik anaknya untuk belajar dan membaca

Abstract

Introduction: Value coaching is an inseparable part of education, which can be a powerful means of warding off negative influences in the globalization era. Main objectives: Regarding the importance of value coaching, this study aims to describe Kiai's leadership program in building a value system in Islamic boarding schools (IBS). Background problems: The study was also conducted in response to the existing symptom among young people that shows their ignorance of values and morals in social manners. Novelty: The study on  Kiai’s program is intended to cover a value system based on transcendent values in instilling the students’ values. Research Method: This research used a qualitative method, and the research subjects consisted of Kiai, Ustadz (teacher), and Santri (students). The data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were then validated by triangulation and processed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings: The results revealed that the role of the Kiai had designed the value system program from upstream to downstream for IBSs. Conclusion: It is concluded that the projection of Islamic boarding schools in the future is the idealism of the Kiai's thinking, which continues to change and develop in line with the development of the IBSs. This finding's implication is the importance of systematic follow-up of value system implementation to achieve better goals.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring) di masa pandemic Covid-19. Proses pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi yang menggunakan daring dalam kurun waktu hampir dua tahun ini selama pandemic menimbulkan rasa jenuh pada mahasiswa karena tidak dapat berinteraksi secara langsung baik dengan guru ataupun teman-temannya. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan utama penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap gambaran kejenuhan belajar daring pada mahasiswa di masa pandemic Covid-19. Penelitian ini diawali dengan studi pendahuluan dan perancangan konseptual instrumen kejenuhan belajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Hasil dari penelitian kejenuhan belajar peserta didik dimasa pandemic adalah 26 mahasiswa (20,9%) mempunyai nilai kejenuhan belajar dalam kategori tinggi, 55 mahasiswa (44,4%) mempunyai nilai kejenuhan belajar dalam kategori sedang, dan 43 (34,7%) mempunyai nilai kejenuhan belajar kategori rendah. Berdasarkan jawaban mahasiswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa kejenuhan belajar pada mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan skor mencapai 44,4%.

Abstract

Quality improvement in instilling moral values and character in the world of education is an obligation today. The paradigm of character education by prioritizing violence still often occurs in educational practice in Indonesia, so appropriate solutions are needed to instill character values in elementary schools. This service was carried out at SDN 4 Kenanga by inviting participants of 50 elementary school teachers in the Sumber and Plumbon Districts. The implementation of the research consists of the preparation stage, implementation stage, monitoring, and evaluation stage. The service results show an increase in understanding of concepts and practices in the cognitive moral development model through the digital animation story method after the workshop. This activity concludes that this service has achieved the target of transmitting knowledge of the concept of value systems and character education models needed by elementary school teachers in 21st-century learning, which is expected to be a solution in moral and character education. The teacher has also implemented an action strategy model of cognitive moral development by the criteria for elementary school students.

Abstract

Di Era digital saat ini kita perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, dikarenakan semakin hari teknologi itu sangat berkembang pesat, oleh karena itu kita semua dituntut untuk mengerti bagaimana cara menggunakan teknologi khususnya teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang selalu kita pakai setiap hari yaitu HP atau biasa disebut gadget. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi serta pelatihan terkait aplikasi belajar matematika agar mempermudah siswa dan siswi dalam memahami matematika serta memberikan pemahaman mengenai penggunaan HP atau gadget di era digital agar lebih berguna melalui aplikasi belajar matematika. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode sosialisasi dan pengenalan aplikasi belajar matematika serta memberikan pelatihan langsung bagaimana cara menggunakan aplikasi tersebut kepada siswa dan siswi MTs Muhammadiyah Gantung. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, masih ada beberapa siswa yang masih belum memahami teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dikarenakan belum memiliki HP atau gadget. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini, siswa dan siswi mampu menggunakan aplikasi belajar matematika untuk mempermudah proses pembelajaran matematika dan siswa siswi mampu memanfaatkan HP atau gadget agar lebih bermanfaat.

Abstract

Learning at SDN 1 Bangodua teachers use the lecture method, there is a lack of student response, and learning is dominated by teachers who use less technology-based media, which affects learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning. Therefore, learning media has a role in improving learning. One of the media Wordwall can be used to improve learning outcomes. This type of research is classroom action, which is a form of research carried out by teachers to improve the learning process. In this case, the researcher collaborated with the Class V teacher to carry out classroom action research activities on intrinsic elements of Indonesian language learning. Implementation of evaluation using applications Wordwall This aims to provide new experiences for students, the class atmosphere becomes colorful, students become more enthusiastic about learning and taking part in learning evaluations, students also have more courage to come forward to complete the tasks given even though the answers are sometimes not correct, and students understand better. material studied. One of the factors influencing learning outcomes is the media. cycle 1, 59% of students completed, while 41% of students did not complete. With an average learning outcome of 73. Cycle 2 showed that 88% of students had completed the test results, while 12% had not completed it. With an average learning outcome of 85, the research was successful because it exceeded the completion target of 85%. media use Wordwall can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning carried out in class IV of SD Negeri 3 Patrol Lor was informed that class IV teachers tend to still use conventional learning models so that students' abilities in communication have not been well honed. The lack of a supportive learning model will affect communication skills, where in the 21st century students are required to have good communication. Given these problems, there needs to be improvements in learning, one of which is using the PjBL model so that students will be included in every step of learning. This research aims to determine the implementation of PjBL in class IV flat shape material and to determine whether there is an improvement or not in students' communication skills after using PjBL. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were grade IV students at SD Negeri 3 Patrol Lor, Patrol District, Indramayu Regency. The types of research instruments used are observation, interviews, LKPD, and evaluation tests. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in students' communication skills from pre-cycle to cycle 2. The results of the pre-cycle were only 38.5% of students who were able to communicate. Then there was an increase in cycle 1 of students who were able to communicate to 57.7%. Then there was another improvement in cycle 2 and there was another increase of 88.5% of students who were able to communicate well, both with teachers and with friends. From these results it can be concluded that implementing a good PjBL model can improve students' communication skills well.

Abstract

The rise of verbal bullying behavior that occurs among students can have an impact on students' interpersonal intelligence. The purpose of this research is to find out 1) the form of verbal bullying that occurs against students, 2) find out the impact of verbal bullying behavior on students' interpersonal intelligence, and 3) find out how teachers deal with verbal bullying behavior. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects of this research were victims of verbal bullying, perpetrators of verbal bullying and teachers. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The results of the research show that the form of verbal bullying that occurs is insulting, cursing and calling students, this is done by students unintentionally or just jokingly. The impact of verbal bullying on interpersonal intelligence makes students tend to become shy and lack self-confidence, this has an impact on students' ability to communicate, adapt and collaborate. Teachers overcome verbal bullying behavior by detecting bullying, providing support to victims of verbal bullying which has an impact on interpersonal intelligence, providing socialization regarding bullying and providing strict sanctions.
