Abstract

The Sidomulyo Tourism Village Development Program aims to overcome various problems related to the preparation of job descriptions in it. Sidomulyo Tourism Village, like many other tourism destinations, faces challenges that need to be overcome so that its operations run more smoothly. One of the main problems faced is the vagueness in the job description which can lead to misunderstandings between workers and managers of Sidomulyo Tourism Village about duties and responsibilities. Sometimes, hired workers do not have qualifications according to the job description, which negatively affects worker performance and satisfaction. Another challenge is crafting job descriptions for unique positions such as tour guides or event organizers who have specific duties. Changes in tourism trends or the local environment can also affect workers' duties. Limited resources for training are an obstacle in improving workers' understanding of their work. Understanding local culture is also important in the tourism industry. To solve this problem, the program offers a solution. Clarification of job descriptions through discussion with workers to identify vagueness. Evaluate the qualifications of workers to ensure conformity with job requirements. Implementation of training programs, workshops, or field trips. Evaluate the impact of training to measure improvements in worker understanding and performance. Adjustment of job descriptions according to the results of evaluations and changes in the industry or environment. Flexibility in dealing with changing tourism trends and the local environment. The aim of the program is for participants to have a better understanding of their duties, history, culture, and local values. This will help them become better ambassadors for Sidomulyo Tourism Village, improve their performance, and contribute to the development of the tourism industry in the village as well as the preservation of the local environment. This program also produces accredited national articles and journals as documentation of the results of their service to the community

Abstract

Educators must be able to apply the latest learning innovations while still utilizing the internet as a learning resource. Today, many blogs and websites are available for teachers and students that allow them to create and learn without limits. However, many educators do not use blogs as a learning medium. The causes include the use of English terminology in some blogs which may be difficult for some students and teachers to understand, lack of knowledge in using blogs as a learning medium, and educators assuming that blogging requires knowledge of computer programming. The core stages of implementing community service activities are socialization, simulation, training and evaluation. Implementation of service activities in the form of training will be held on Saturday 10 February 2024 at SDN Sempusari 1. This training activity starts from 09.00 WIB until 15.00 WIB. The number of participants who took part in the training activities was 17 teachers. The training participants are teachers at SDN Sempusari 1. The results of this training activity are that participants will gain knowledge about how to use free blogging facilities on the Internet. Participants gain knowledge about how blogging features can be used to support learning

Abstract

In this training, students are guided to understand sentences using the syntax method. Syntax is a framework of rules that describes how all well-structured sentences in a language can be generated from basic components (morphemes, words, and parts of speech). The depiction of the sentence construction framework here uses the Backus-Naur Form technique. Backus–Naur Form (BNF) is a formal metalanguage used to structure the syntax and rules of programming languages. Created in the late 1950s by American computer scientist John Backus, BNF serves as a regular notation that helps developers ensure that the code they write follows a specific set of rules, similar to grammar guidelines for everyday languages. This notation utilizes various symbols, such as square brackets, to indicate defined categories and terms, thus clearly describing the structure of the language. This training was attended by 17 male and female students of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember, involving 4 resource persons. The training took place solemnly, emphasizing a sense of camaraderie to foster positive communication among participants. Evaluation results showed satisfactory results, with students improving their comprehension, spelling, and translation skills.
