Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture facilitates all schools in remote areas of the country by providing Chromebooks. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how to optimize the use of Chromebooks at school and the response of class v students at UPTD SDN Tanjung Jati 2 after using Chromebooks during learning activities. This research is qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Data processing was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that Chromebooks are used optimally by students at school. Through teacher guidance, students can make optimal use of the Google Docs, YouTube and Google Translate applications. Google Docs is used by students in learning activities to record material and important things they have learned previously. YouTube is used by students to watch animated learning videos. Meanwhile, Google Translate is usually used by students to obtain English translations when learning English. Based on observations, learning using Chromebooks can actually increase students' enthusiasm for learning. This is shown by students' responses who are very enthusiastic about learning, actively ask and answer questions, and dare to express opinions.

Abstract

Fe₂O₃ has many functions, including as a pigment and as a semi-conductor material. The use of this material depends on its characteristics. In this study, the characterization of Fe₂O₃ nanoparticles produced from green synthesis was carried out. Dengen fruit extract was used as a chelating agent with iron sand raw material from the Pajallesang River, Palopo City. The synthesis was carried out using the sol-gel method at pH 4.7. The gel sample was calcined at temperatures of 600°C, 700°C, and 800°C, after which it was characterized using XRD and XRF. The average crystallite size of Fe₂O₃ particles in iron sand and after being synthesized at temperatures of 600°C, 700°C, and 800°C were respectively 40.09 nm, 36.67 nm, 31.46 nm, and 69.04 nm. The increase in calcination temperature affects the Fe₂O₃ content, where the higher the temperature used, the lower the Fe₂O₃ content obtained. The Fe₂O₃ content in iron sand and after synthesis at temperatures of 600°C, 700°C, and 800°C were respectively 70.4%, 91.04%, 90.01%, and 88.82%

Abstract

Research related to the isolation and characterization of rhizobacteria and their potential as plant growth promoters was carried out to support the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture. This research aims to isolate and characterize rhizobacteria from saline soil which have the potential to promote plant growth. This research was carried out for 2 months at the Agrotechnology Laboratory, Agronomy Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, Kendari. The research was conducted using an experimental design. Research on testing rhizobacteria isolates as plant growth promoters was carried out using a completely randomized design with 3 replications. The research was carried out by isolating and characterization of rhizobacteria both morphologically (elevation, appearance, margins, color, shape, and size of microbes) and biochemically (nitrogen fixation test, phosphate solubilization, and IAA hormone synthesis) and continued with germination tests of local tomato seeds. Data from research on morphological, physiological, and biochemical tests of endophytic microbes were analyzed using descriptive analysis, while rhizobacteria tests on germination (maximum growth potential) were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results of the analysis showing a real effect were followed by the Duncan test at a confidence level of 95%. Based on the research results, 20 isolates were obtained. The isolates with the highest ability to fix nitrogen (isolates Ab01, Ab03, Ab05, and Bb07), phosphate solubilizers (Ab10 and Ab03), and the highest ability of bacteria to produce IAA were obtained from isolate Ab04 at 124.91 ppm and isolate Bb05 at 115.27 ppm. Meanwhile, the highest ability of rhizobacteria isolates to germinate seeds (maximum growth potential) was obtained in isolate Bb05 at 88.89% and isolate Ab04 at 82.22% when compared with other isolates and controls.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang upaya strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman di tengah masyarakat majemuk. Meskipun sekolah umum tidak secara khusus berorientasi pada pendidikan agama, namun penerapan pendidikan Islam melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memberikan kontribusi penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendidikan Islam di sekolah umum dalam membentuk akhlak, toleransi, dan spiritualitas siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi literatur, ditemukan bahwa pendidikan Islam di sekolah umum tidak hanya mengajarkan aspek ritual keagamaan, tetapi juga menekankan pada nilai-nilai universal seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan kasih sayang. Meskipun menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran dan lingkungan sosial yang beragam, pendidikan Islam tetap memiliki potensi besar dalam memperkuat karakter bangsa. Oleh karena itu, sinergi antara guru, kurikulum, dan lingkungan sekolah menjadi kunci keberhasilan pendidikan Islam di sekolah umum.
