Abstract

Nowadays character building is a national movement in Indonesia. The educators are asked to integrate it in the learning process, but unfortunately, there are still many lectures that still have difficul in integrating character building in classroom. In English class character building can be integrated through inserting culture in the material, therefore the students are not only learning about the material but they also learn about the value of the culture. The purpose of this research is to develop English material for management class based on character building. Research and Development (R&D) by Borg and Gall (1983) was applied. The subjects of the research were the English lecture of management class and the students of the fourth semester. The result of the research showed that the instructional materials developed is appropriate to the students? needs and curriculum.

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose: The high unemployment rate triggers everyone to set up a small and medium business. Educated people tend not to be interested in pursuing entrepreneurship. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education, family environment, income expectations on student entrepreneurial intention. Design/methodology/approach: This research is a quantitative research using the survey method. The population in this study was active students at STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro in 2020 with 427. With the Slovin formula approach, 206 students were assigned as research respondents, where the sample was taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Findings: Research data collection is done through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used a multiple linear regression test. The analysis results found that the Family Environment variable had no significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. The variables of Entrepreneurship Education and Income Expectations had a positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. Originality/value: This Paper is original Paper type: Research paper

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan kewirausahaan telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan pada proses pembelajaran pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, kewirausahan di harapkan menjadi solusi bagi masalah pengangguran dengan penciptaan lapangan kerja sendiri (self-employment) bagi para pelakunya. Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Cendekia Bojonegoro bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan budaya wirausaha dan serta meningkatkan kemampuan berwirausaha melalui pembelajara kewirausahaan berbasis praktek di kalangan mahasiswa dan alumni STIE Cendekia dengan jalan mensinergikan potensi-potensi yang ada di dalam kampus dengan potensi dari luar kampus. Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan di STIE Cendekia dilaksanakan melalui berbagai tahapan, yaitu tahap sosialisasi, tahap penjaringan tenant wirausaha, tahap pelaksanaan, serta tahap evaluasi dan keberlanjutan. Tahap sosialisasi dilaksanakan melalui penyelenggaraan seminar bisnis dan wirausaha dengan nara sumber para praktisi yang telah sukses berwirausaha untuk memotivasi mahasiswa dan alumni peserta seminar untuk berwirausaha. Selanjutnya dari tahap penjaringan, didapatkan 22 tenant sebagai peserta utama dalam Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan. Tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis praktek terdiri dari workshop wirausaha, studi lapangan ke berbagai pelaku wirausaha, magang wirausaha, transfer IPTEK, serta bimbingan dan konsultasi pengembangan usaha tenant. Pada akhir tahun dilaksanakan evaluasi usaha para tenant meliputi aspek produksi, pemasaran, keuangan, serta inovasi usaha. Usaha-usaha tenant yang telah dinyatakan “baik” dari evaluasi program akan dilepas dari Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan dan dinyatakan siap terjun ke masyarakat sebagai wirausahawan baru Kata kunci: Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan, Tenant, Wirausahawan Muda.

Abstract

Abstract: Teaching English in rural area is challenging task. The teachers have many difficulties in teaching and learning process, especially in teaching four skills of English. The minimum facilities and the student’s motivation become the trigger of it. The purpose of this research was to identify the rural school facilities, second to identify the teaching English in rural area, third to identify the obstacles of teaching English in rural area. The Qualitative method was used in this research, Open ended questionnaire and interview were used to collect the data. The subject of this research was eight English teacher from eight different rural areas of junior high school in Bojonegoro. The result of this research showed that there were three main obstacles of teaching English in rural areas in Bojonegoro, first the minimum school facilities, second the low students’ motivation and mind set, and third the minimum support of parents. Abstrak: Mengajar Bahasa Inggris di daerah pelosok merupakan salah satu tugas yang menantang. Guru mempunyai banyak kesulitan dalam proses belajar mengajar, khususnya dalam pembelajaraan 4 kemampuan Bahasa Inggris. Minimnya fasilitas dan motivasi siswa menjadi pemicu dari kesulitan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menidentifikasi fasilitas sekolah yang ada di pelosok, kedua untuk mengidentifikasi proses belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris, ketiga untuk menidentifikasi kesulitan dalam hal pengajaran Bahasa Inggris di daerah pelosok. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kuesioner dan wawancara terbuka digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Subyek penelitian ini adalah delapan guru dari delapan Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang ada di delapan daerah pelosok Bojonegoro. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada tiga kesulitan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di pelosok Bojonegoro yaitu, pertama kurangnya fasilitas sekolah, kedua rendahnya motivasi dan pola pikir siswa, dan ketiga kurangnya dukungan dari orang tua.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to give the descriptive discourse about the rating of bank in Indonesia using financial ratios base on capital bank group over 1 trillion at observations in 2007-2008. This research is use five kinds of ratios i.e. capital ratio, productive assets ratio, profitability ratio, liquidity ratio, and efficiency, ratio which comprises nine financial ratios as it has been researched by Info Bank (2006). The data which is used in this research is secondary data; it is obtained from Bank Indonesia, which in the form of financial reporting data. The results found that 40 banks have a very good predicate, 3 banks have a good predicate, and 1 bank has an enough predicate. Besides that, the results also found that a large capital can not guarantee the financial ratios quality.

Abstract

The important of inserting character building on English material has been realized by the government. There are many ways of doing that and one of them is through inserting culture on language teaching. Self introduction is one of the important materials that should be taught. Therefore it is needed to make self introduction material based on character building. This article discusses teaching English self introduction through character building-based material.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effectivenes of CEC (Cendekia English Club) Program in developing the students English ability in STIEKIA. This research is descriptive qualitative. Questionnaire, observation and students english score are used to get the data. The resulth of the research shows that 70% students said that CEC program is very usefull. 80 % students said that their ability in speaking is developed very well. 75% stated taht their speaking ability is developed very well. 90% of the students said that their reading abilty is also developed well and for writing ability they stated that 70% developed well. The result of the students english score shows that 90% of the students which follow the CEC program get A score, while only 15% of non CEC students get A score. Those result show that CEC program in STIEKIA is efective to develop students english ability.

Abstract

Pemilihan topik ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra dalam menghadapi era new normal pasca pandemic covid19. Sebagai keberlanjutan dari pengaruh kebijakan pemerintah, kini masyarakat dituntut untuk mengikuti perkembangan jaman, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis digital dalam kegiatan bisnis. Namun, mitra tidak memiliki bauran produk yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif memasuki penjualan berbasis digital. Dengan demikian, mitra perlu melakukan inovasi produk, seperti batik. Pemilihan batik sebagai produk inovasi didasari pada latar belakang mitra yang sebelumnya sudah mengembangkan wisata edukasi, serta kondisi masyarakat daerah setepat yang mendukung. Proses pembuatan batik dapat dikembangkan sebagai inovasi produk wisata edukasi, sedangkan produk batik sendiri memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai produk khas daerah yang bisa diperjualbelikan secara digital. Untuk melakukan inovasi produk, mitra belum memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat produk inovasi, sehingga kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Metode yang dilakukan pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini antara lain dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan produk inovasi dan pemasaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini (1) adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam membuat produk inovasi, (2) tercipta produk inovasi berupa batik, (3) adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam melakukan pemasaran berbasis digital, (4) tercipta inovasi dalam bidang pemasaran melalui aplikasi digital. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai dapat disimpulkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berhasil memberikan perubahan sesuai dengan target yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Grogolan Lake ecotourism was initiated to save Grogolan Lake as one of the major water sources which play a vital role in Agriculture and various other sectors in the Bojonegoro area, with another aim to empower the community around natural attractions. The Wana Abadi Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) has introduced the concept of Grogolan Lake Ecotourism and the Ngintir Nang Kali Grogolan for the economic development the residents of Ngunut Village. Implementing the Community Partnership program is intended to help solve some of the problems currently faced by POKDARWIS Wana Abadi, namely management problems and marketing problems in ecotourism development. The solutions offered to solve this problem include assisting in the preparation strategic plan of POKDARWIS Wana Abadi, pioneering outbound education, developing ecotourism educational tours, developing ecoprint educational tours, and social media-based ecotourism marketing assistance to make Grogolan Lake and River Ecotourism become a leading tourist destination in the Bojonegoro city. The results of implementing a series of community partnership programs include formulating the Statute Documents of Wana Abadi Organizations, increasing interest in visiting Grogolan ecotourism through offering outbound tours and ecoprint educational tours, and implementing a social media-based tourism marketing strategy.
