Abstract

Nowadays character building is a national movement in Indonesia. The educators are asked to integrate it in the learning process, but unfortunately, there are still many lectures that still have difficul in integrating character building in classroom. In English class character building can be integrated through inserting culture in the material, therefore the students are not only learning about the material but they also learn about the value of the culture. The purpose of this research is to develop English material for management class based on character building. Research and Development (R&D) by Borg and Gall (1983) was applied. The subjects of the research were the English lecture of management class and the students of the fourth semester. The result of the research showed that the instructional materials developed is appropriate to the students? needs and curriculum.

Abstract

The government continues to make efforts to increase village development. This is evidenced by the implementation of one of the programs in the form of the establishment of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). BUMDes was established based on the principles that characterize this business unit. These principles is such as cooperative, balance, tranparansi and accounting. These principles must be implemented in financial management carried out by BUMDes. One of them happened at BUMDes in Bogo Village. This village has the uniqueness as a tourist village, namely kelor village. In the village, BUMDes is also established, Unit Dagang and Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) which has made financial statements. Through the qualitative approach used by the researcher and interviewing some of the information in this study, the results are obtained if in terms of transparency, the financial reports that have been prepared in each period have met transparency. This is evidenced by the financial statements that have been prepared and have been informed to the Village Head and local village officials. However, on the other hand, the financial statements they did are not comply with the standards that have been put in place by the Government. Therefore, the need to adjust the financial statements of BUMDes in Bogo Village to the standards set by the Government and the encouragement of cooperation conducted by bogo village with related agencies for the performance of BUMDes is getting better.

Abstract

Abstract

Facing competition from global batik producers with prices that tend to be cheaper, MSME Batik Jonegoroan faces serious problems in its sales performance. This study aims to analyze the development of comparative product advantages sourced from the company's market sensing and innovation capabilities. Products with comparative advantage based on regional ethnic characteristics are expected to reclaim market share from Jonegoroan Batik. A total of 194 owners of SMEs producing Jonegoroan batik were sampled in this study. Structural equation modelling analysis with smart-PLS software shows that market sensing capability, innovation capability, and iconic ethnic product positively affect MSME performance. The indirect effect test proves that iconic ethnic products perform a mediating function in the relationship innovation capability and MSME performance. Meanwhile, the iconic ethnic product is not a mediating variable for the influence of market sensing capability on MSME performance. This finding implies that MSMEs with innovation capabilities should emphasise the orientation of developing comparative advantages of products based on ethnic characteristics to increase innovation and ultimately achieve company performance. The research limitation is related to data collection, which only involves one of the many MSME sectors that may affect the generalization of the research results.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kawasan perkebunan salak di desa Tanjungharjo terus mengalami pengurangan akibat petambahan jumlah pemukiman penduduk serta masyarakat yang memilih meninggalkan usaha perkebunan buah salak karena harganya cenderung murah. Pemerintah desa beserta masyarakat desa telah melakukan pengembangan agrowisata dengan obyek perkebunan dan buah salak untuk meningkatkan nilai jual tanaman salak serta memberdayakan masyarakat desa Tanjungharjo. Dengan dimotori oleh Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) yang berfokus pada pengembangan wisata petik buah salak, sementara Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) diharapkan menjadi koordinator dalam berbagai usaha produktif masyarakat desa untuk melakukan diversifikasi produk-produk olahan buah salak. Pengabdian kepada masayarakat untuk membantu pengembangan agrowisata buah salak di Desa Tanjungharjo dilaksanakan melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata Program Pembelajaran dan Pemberdayaan Masayarakat (KKN-PPM) untuk melakaukan transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dari perguruan tinggi pelaksana kepada masyarakat melalaui beberapa kegiatan seperti Sarasehan Pengembangan Agrowisata, Pelatihan Olahan Buah Salak, Pendampingan UMKM Produsen Olahan Buah salak dan pengembangan sarana dan prasanan di lokasi agrowisata. Kata Kunci : Agrowisata, Buah Salak, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, & Peningkatan Pendapatan Masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan kewirausahaan telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan pada proses pembelajaran pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, kewirausahan di harapkan menjadi solusi bagi masalah pengangguran dengan penciptaan lapangan kerja sendiri (self-employment) bagi para pelakunya. Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Cendekia Bojonegoro bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan budaya wirausaha dan serta meningkatkan kemampuan berwirausaha melalui pembelajara kewirausahaan berbasis praktek di kalangan mahasiswa dan alumni STIE Cendekia dengan jalan mensinergikan potensi-potensi yang ada di dalam kampus dengan potensi dari luar kampus. Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan di STIE Cendekia dilaksanakan melalui berbagai tahapan, yaitu tahap sosialisasi, tahap penjaringan tenant wirausaha, tahap pelaksanaan, serta tahap evaluasi dan keberlanjutan. Tahap sosialisasi dilaksanakan melalui penyelenggaraan seminar bisnis dan wirausaha dengan nara sumber para praktisi yang telah sukses berwirausaha untuk memotivasi mahasiswa dan alumni peserta seminar untuk berwirausaha. Selanjutnya dari tahap penjaringan, didapatkan 22 tenant sebagai peserta utama dalam Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan. Tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis praktek terdiri dari workshop wirausaha, studi lapangan ke berbagai pelaku wirausaha, magang wirausaha, transfer IPTEK, serta bimbingan dan konsultasi pengembangan usaha tenant. Pada akhir tahun dilaksanakan evaluasi usaha para tenant meliputi aspek produksi, pemasaran, keuangan, serta inovasi usaha. Usaha-usaha tenant yang telah dinyatakan “baik” dari evaluasi program akan dilepas dari Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan dan dinyatakan siap terjun ke masyarakat sebagai wirausahawan baru Kata kunci: Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan, Tenant, Wirausahawan Muda.

Abstract

Upaya pemulihan ekonomi nasional dilakukan melalui sektor pariwisata, salah satunya melalui pengembangan desa wisata. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah sumber daya manusia pengelola desa wisata memiliki tingkat pendidikan rendah dan menjadi pengelola bukan pekerjaan utama. Sehingga hal tersebut memengaruhi work performance para pengelola. Karenanya, perlu adanya penelitian mengenai kualitas individu yang dibutuhkan dalam pengelolaan desa wisata. Faktor yang kemungkinan memengaruhi work performance adalah self efficacy, personal networking, public service motivation, job participation. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 684 pengelola desa wisata, sampelnya berjumlah 433 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SEM dengan program SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan self efficacy, personal networking, public service motivation memengaruhi job participation dan work performance. Self efficacy, personal networking, public service motivation memengaruhi work performance secara tidak langsung, tetapi dimediasi oleh job participation. Kata kunci: self efficacy, personal networking, public service motivation, job participation, work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of ownership structure on firm value of debt policy as an intervening variable. Data used in this research is secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange database. This study used the path analysis to analysze and interprete the data of research. From the results of data analysis can be concluded that in Indonesia (1) the ownership structure proxied by insider ownership has relationship with financial decisions; (2) ownership structure has not affect stock prices, as a proxy of firm value; (3) there is no influence of ownership structure on corporate value through debt policy and as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This research aims to develop small industries as well as the bricks of labor, capital employed, the character of the production, supply of raw materials, and know How business feasibility, financially from small industrial brick and economic conditions around the study area. The study was conducted using descriptive methods that describe a state of population. Data is collected by observation and unstructured interviews. discussion of the results proved the brick production process is almost the same character that is labor intensive, simple technology and use their own capital, factors that positively influence the factors of the working people, working capital and fixed capital, which adversely affect the wages, extensive business and prices.

Abstract

The condition of the export market, which is very sluggish, has put the MSME economy and the people who produce environmentally friendly handcrafts in Kasiman Village in an alarming condition; exports of handcraft products have stopped entirely as a result of the crisis after the Covid 19 Pandemic and the war that occurred in Europe. This mentoring program aims to help provide solutions for target partners. Handcraft product innovation and digital-based marketing assistance are expected to boost sales of handcraft products to compete in the local market by targeting millennial generation consumers and e-commerce and social media-based sales strategies. The implementation of innovation assistance for the diversification of handcraft products and the implementation of digital marketing has been going well, which has proven to have succeeded in boosting the sales of handcraft products for the people of Kasiman Village through various e-commerce channels, social media, or direct sales at galleries selling home decor and handcraft products made from friendly materials-environment in Kasiman Village.
