Abstract

Dalam proses pembuatan surat perintah tugas, dinas kominfo kota medan saat ini masih melakukan secara sederhana  dengan pencatata manual menggunakan bantuan microsoft office dan microsoft excel. Hal ini mengakibatkan sistem menjadi kurang efektik dan efesien baik segi materi maupun waktu,terjadi kerusakan atau kehilangan data perjalanan dinas karena proses dan tata cara penyimpanan data yang tidak baik serta waktu pembuatan laporan perjalanan dinas yang cukup lama. Maka diperlukan suatu sistem komputerisasi yang sangat sesuai untuk mendukung kinerja dalam pengelolaan SPT, Sehingga dapat mengatasi permasalahan atau kendala pada sistem berjalan saat ini dengan memanfaatkan teknologi cloud computing serta menggunakan php native sebagai pemrograman dengan cara  pengamatan langsung, dan wawancara kepada pihak yang terkait menjadi analisa sistem yang digunakan untuk membangun sistem baru dalam penelitian ini. Dengan memanfaatkan sistem komputersisasi yang diusulkan ini secara baik kemungkinan adanya kesalahan dapat diminimalisasi serta pengolahan SPT menjadi lebih mudah.

Abstract

Tourist and culinary places are a trip or visit to a place with the aim of trying or tasting local specialties to enjoy the food and drinks that exist in the area. There are many tourist and culinary places in Indonesia that can be visited by tourists, one of which is culinary tourism in the city of Siantar. Enjoying culinary is the main goal for tourists in choosing tourist and culinary places. Convenience is a factor that influences tourists when they want to visit tourist and culinary places and sometimes tourists find it difficult to determine which tourist and culinary places to visit with the variety of tourist and culinary attractions available. For this reason, information about tourist and culinary attractions in the city of Siantar is needed by tourists who are visiting the city. This application is designed based on a website and uses a collaborative filtering algorithm method that will provide recommendations in the form of address information, ratings that have been given by previous users, and provide recommendations based on visiting patterns by users who have visited these tourist and culinary places. Keywords: Culinary, Tourist attraction, Siantar City, Website, Collaborative Filtering

Abstract

Disturbance in the image, especially digital images can be caused by noise, resulting in a decrease in the quality of the image. Image restoration is a technique used to recover the original image from a degraded image. Restoration is intended so that the information contained in a digital image becomes better/clear. The restoration process is carried out because the image quality is blurred or because of the noise contained in the image. Noise is the main problem encountered in digital image processing. The digital image restoration process always involves a filtering algorithm that is able to suppress the noise contained in the image. The active contour method is one approach to segmentation, where this method uses a closed curve that can move wide or narrow. The active contour process is a process that takes some of the signals of a certain frequency and discards signals at other frequencies. An initialization curve is placed outside of the object to be segmented, then through the iteration process the curve will move closer to the boundary of the object until finally finding the object boundary. This study aims to design a special system for character restoration in digital images using the active contour method. The implementation results show that the active contour method can be used to restore the image properly, this can be from the restored image, the condition of the image that has been given noise can approach the initial data. Keywords: active contour, digital image, character, restoration

Abstract

Papan tulis merupakan sarana paling penting dalam proses belajar mengajar. Saat ini, hampir seluruh dunia pendidikan di Indonesia masih menggunakan penghapus papan tulis biasa, yaitu dengan tenaga manusia. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan kegiatan yang tidak disukai dan membosankan karena dilakukan berulang – ulang dan dapat mengotori tangan. Debu atau aroma spidol yang keluar dapat mengganggu pernafasan. Oleh karena itu, dibuat suatu alat berupa penghapus papan tulis otomatis berbasis android dengan memanfaatkan 2 Motor DC sebagai komponen utama yang telah diintegerasikan dengan mikrokontroler yang digunakan sebagai penggerak penghapus yang akan menghapus bekas tinta pada permukaan papan tulis (whiteboard) dimana siapa saja bisa menghapus papan tulis dengan mudah pada bagian yang sulit dijangkau. Pada penelitian ini dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam menghapus bagian yang sulit dijangkau dan mengurangi kegiatan yang membosankan pada pengguna untuk membersihkan papan tulis (whiteboard) secara bersih hanya dengan menekan tombol SEMUA, KIRI, KANAN sesuai dengan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan. Dari hasil pengujian penghapus dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat dapat bekerja sesuai dengan yang diharapkan

Abstract

Cryptography can be used to process messages with certain algorithms so that the meaning of the message is difficult to understand. After that, steganography was used to hide messages in other forms. This study uses AES and Least Significant Bit (LSB) to build desktop-based applications using VB to send messages and get original messages. This application itself will concentrate the application of dual security for data and use WMA audio files to strengthen security on text data owned by users. Conceptually, security will be carried out by first encrypting messages using AES cryptography and then continuing the second security process by inserting text data in the WMA Audio file using the LSB algorithm to prevent indication or suspicion of the existence of important data or information that is inserted in the data.Keywords : Cryptography, Steganography, AES, LSB

Abstract

This research is a research on the development of learning media based on macromedia flash 8 in English quiz lessons for elementary students. This study aims to foster the interest of grade 2 elementary school students to usecomputers as learning media, create an interactive English quiz program to help increase the motivation andunderstanding of grade 2 elementary school students in learning English and improve intelligence IQ (IntelligenceQoutient), EQ ( Emotional Qoutient) and SQ (Spiritual Qoutient) in children. The benefits of this research canadd insight or knowledge of children in terms of answering the questions given as learning, can train thedevelopment of elementary level children to better understand quizzes, can be used as learning media that attractschildren's talents, can increase children's intelligence about technology, and motivate children to learn English.The method used is Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The results of this study indicate that a computer-basedEnglish quiz interactive learning application has been designed using macromedia flash 8 software, the design ofan English quiz interactive learning application consists of a display design for quiz questions and answers,English language material designed in the form of animated images, animated text, and an explanation of thematerial by including voices to make elementary school students enthusiastic about taking lessons, macromediaflash 8 as a means to present computer-based English learning, a learning application made to attract users'interest in receiving lessons and make it easier with interesting applications in the learning process teach.

Abstract

Operating systems for mobile devices are growing. Android is a mobile operating system that is now very popular and widely used by people. For the purposes of the security aspect, Android has also provided specifically for cryptographic functions, such as encryption, decryption, and so on. Insecure message delivery can occur because when sending, the message sent is in the form of an original message so that if a message is taken from the delivery line, the message will be known by unauthorized parties. So we need a security on a message data. Encryption and decryption can be used to make messages so that they cannot be read or understood by other people who do not have access rights. The technique of securing data and information is known as cryptography. The use of the Triple Transposition Vigenere Cipher (TTVC) algorithm has been carried out on SMS security (Short Message Service) in order to maintain the integrity and security of the message content and cover gaps in SMS security. The message sent will be encrypted using the Triple Transposition Vigenere Cipher first so that the contents of the message can be read by the sender and recipient. Based on what has been discussed above the author will design a Text Message Security Application Using a Combination Algorithm of Triple Transposition Vigenere Cipher and One Time Pad Based on Android Studio to provide security for messages from unauthorized parties.

Abstract

Learning media is anything that is used to convey messages or information in the teaching and learning process so that it can stimulate students' attention and interest in learning. Increasing the development of information and communication technology can have a positive impact on the education sector. Augmented Reality is part of the learning media that can be used to attract students' interest in learning. Augmented Reality has the advantage of being able to help improve student learning activities, simplify complex learning material, and present learning material practically. Insect animals (insecta) come from the Latin word insectum, which means cut into several parts, one of the classes of invertebrates in the phylum arthropods which have chitinous exoskeletons. Abstract

Genealogy or commonly called Tarombo by Batak people is a lineage that has become customary for people to know genealogy or kinship relationships. . However, this custom has begun to disappear from the Batak people because of the hard-to-find family data, the expanding genealogy, and the few people who know the genealogy. The lineage is called Tarombo. These things make Tarombo lose its appeal and become the background of this research. The purpose of this study is to build an application system that will become a medium for users, especially the Toba Batak ethnicity, to be able to have, create or continue family genealogies and make it easier for us to find genealogies or Tarombo clans and families. This application is designed using Adobe Flash CS6 which has a pretty good performance. The system development method used in system development is the literature study method, which collects supporting data related to research such as from social media, websites or other sources. Based on the test results, the genealogy application is running successfully on the Windows 10 operating system. This study resulted in an application with the main function as a medium that requires information about the genealogy of the Batak clan, especially the Sinambela clan and provides the desired convenience and speed.

Abstract

Image as a multimedia component plays a very important role as a form of visual information. Images have characteristics that text does not have, namely images that are rich in information. Even though an image is rich in information, the image we have often experiences image degradation, namely a decrease in image quality, for example because it contains defects or noise. The Adaptive Median Filter (AMF) method is a method designed to eliminate problems that arise. faced with a standard median filter. Adaptive median filter has a dual purpose, namely removing impulse noise in the image and reducing distortion in the image. This filter also smooths out noise. Therefore, the author is interested in "Implementing Noise Removal and Image Enhancement in Digital Images Using the Adaptive Median Filter Method". This is done in order to find out the results of improving the quality of the noised image. The output that will be produced in this final project is that the author discusses how an image that initially has good quality is then given noise, then a filtering process is applied using the adaptive median filter method and the image quality is improved using image enhancement.
