Abstract

Production management is responsible for making smart decisions regarding the most suitable production strategy for the future, focusing on reducing costs as efficiently as possible while increasing profit potential. UD Inti Jaya is a business engaged in building, namely the manufacture of tile from clay. UD. Inti Jaya has used various different methods of production planning and raw material inventory management. In order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of production planning, the company has implemented several methods and techniques. First, the company uses the method of forecasting product demand for future periods. The results of this forecasting are used for production planning using aggregate planning methods, especially the Trial-and-Error method. To determine raw material needs, here the company uses the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to calculate raw material inventory needs with the aim of minimizing inventory costs. Results from the use of the EOQ method shows that the inventory cost of raw materials produced is smaller compared to the previous inventory policy used by the company. This indicates that the EOQ method provides better efficiency in raw material inventory management, reduces inventory costs and allows companies to have appropriate safety stock and reorder more effectively. Thus, the conclusion that can be drawn is that the application of the EOQ method in raw material inventory management provides better results, with lower inventory costs compared to previous policies implemented by the company. This illustrates that using the EOQ method can help companies in more efficient and effective inventory management.

Abstract

Wilayah Desa Tebel, Kec. Gedangan, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, merupakan daerah perbatasan dengan kota Surabaya yang masyarakatnya masih mempunyai lahan yang cukup dan cocok untuk budidaya ikan. Daerah ini memiliki letak strategis untuk budi daya ikan dan pemasaran ikan Gurami, yang relatif mudah karena banyak masyarakat yang menyukai hidangan ikan ini, baik itu Gurami bakar, Gurami goreng, dan Gurami Penyet. Ikan Gurami merupakan ikan yang relatif mudah untuk dibudidayakan. Kandungan gizi ikan Gurami cukup bagus untuk tumbuh kembang otak anak. Harga ikan Gurami cukup bersaing. Taraf kehidupan masyarakat dengan tingkat pendidikan yang relatif tidak terlalu tinggi, banyak para pemuda yang tidak terserap di dunia kerja formal sehingga terlihat banyak pemuda yang masih dalam keadaan menganggur. Pemberdayaan pemuda desa yang lebih baik dan kelak menjadi seorang wirausaha yang sukses yang akan mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Prodi Teknik Industri Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 merupakan bakti nyata yang dapat dilakukan saat ini dengan kegiatan pelatihan dan penyuluhan budidaya ikan Gurami dengan memberikan ilmu dan pengetahuan cara budidaya yang tepat dengan memanfaatkan lahan yang ada dan dengan memperhitungkan jumlah persediaan pakan yang optimal, sehingga biaya menjadi efisien dan masyarakat bisa merasakan hasil budidaya ikan Guraminya dengan maksimal, mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi dan kebutuhan gizi akan lauk pauk rumah tangga serta mengurangi pengangguran akibat pemutusan hubungan kerja akibat adanya virus COVID 19 yang lalu dan dampak penurunan ekonomi global saat ini

Abstract

Perancangan dan pengembangan produk diperlukan untuk memperbaiki produk yang telah ada. Desain meja makan untuk pelangan yang berbelanja di kuliner makanan Bu Lilik, mereka akan memperhatikan kenyamanan pelanggan. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi Ketika pihak penjual yang menjual makanan kurang memperhatikan tingkat kenyamanan pemakainya, selain itu desain meja makan kuliner Bu Lilik yang ada saat ini masih kurang nyaman saat digunakan. Desain meja makan kuliner Bu Lilik yang telah berkembang saat ini masih kurang ergonomis bagi pelanggan karena meja makan kuliner Bu Lilik kurang memperhatikan kenyamanan pelanggan. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi kelelahan pelanggan tersebut, dikarenakan desain meja yang kurang ergonomis dan nyaman kepada mereka. Dalam pendekatan metode perancangan mulai dari pemilihan bahan meja, menentukan desain secara ergonomis berdasar antropometri dengan data 10 pelanggan di kuliner makanan Bu Lilik. Meja sebelumnya ini merupakan produk yang bisa  digunakan pada pelanggan makan kuliner Bu Lilik untuk memudahkan dan memberikan kenyamanan mereka pada saat kegiatan jual beli. Hal ini dilakukan agar dapat memberi kenyamanan saat ada pelanggan.

Abstract

Kampung lumpia, located on Jalan Ngaglik, Surabaya graveyard, is a home industry (IRT) managed by Mr. Kasmono as the owner. This business was initiated in 2009. The number of employees employed on the production floor is 4 people, and 3 employees to sell spring rolls in groups. The problem for SMEs is that minimal capital makes the owner not replace the pans and stoves for making spring roll skins and frying spring rolls. The frying pan and stove have been used for 10 years since this business was founded so that it is black and charred and the addition of 1 new rombong unit to increase market share in other sales locations. In terms of marketing, it is still done offline using a group, the owner wants to try marketing online, for example advertising to receive orders on online social media. In terms of selling price, the spring rolls and risoles that are produced are sold at a price of Rp. 1,500.00 per seed. The owner does not know the bookkeeping and calculation of the cost of production for the spring rolls and risoles that he sells, so training on the calculation of the cost of production is necessary.

Abstract

One of the leading horticultural commodities cultivated by farmers is chili. However, chili farmers often experience problems monitoring soil moisture levels and environmental air temperature. In this case, it can affect the growth of chili plants, which impacts crop failure. Therefore, to overcome these problems, this research develops Mamdani fuzzy logic to build an intelligent system that can automatically monitor and water chili plants. In this research, the impact of the use of sensors and system impact treatment on chili plants will be tested and compared with plants that do not use the system. The results of this study show that the smart monitoring and watering system can function properly and maximize the condition of the plant media compared to those that do not use the system. The system can control soil moisture levels with an average error of 3.73% and air temperature with an average error of 1.03%. The results of the system by comparing plants that do not use the system combined with greenhouses can protect plants from extreme weather such as heat, rain, pests, and lack of wild plant growth so that plants look lush, lush, and grow quickly to minimize farmer crop failure. It is easier for farmers to monitor using the Blynk IoT application.

Abstract

System for detecting a person's stress level based on bio-parameters is blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate. Measurements of blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate in order to detect the condition of a person's stress level are carried out non-invasively or don’t damage the nervous tissue in the body and routinely. Heart rate measurement using MAX30102 sensor on the finger. Measurement of blood pressure using the MPX2050GP pressure sensor by placing cuff on the person's arm. While measuring the breathing rate using the MAX9814 micondensor sensor. In determining or classifying stress level conditions from non-invasive measurement parameters of blood pressure, heart rate and respiratory rate using Support Vector Machine (SVM) method with specified kernel variations. The classification of stress level conditions consists of four classes including normal, mild stress, moderate stress and severe stress. So that a dataset of 71 data is obtained with the data augmentation process and the accuracy of each SVM kernel variation used is obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to improve operational efficiency and financial management at Toko Pink 31 Surabaya by integrating two key components: store layout redesign and the development of a MySQL-based accounting system. The research uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches through observations, interviews, system design, and simulations. The redesigned layout was developed using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method and simulated via AnyLogic software to evaluate customer flow and service bottlenecks. The results showed significant improvements in space utilization, reduced customer congestion, and enhanced overall shopping experience. In parallel, the accounting system was developed using MySQL to automate and structure financial transactions. The system includes modules for product input, sales, purchasing, cost of goods manufactured (COGM) reporting, and daily financial summaries. The implementation of this digital accounting system reduced manual errors, streamlined transaction processing, and provided real-time access to financial data. The integration of both layout optimization and digital accounting demonstrates a comprehensive transformation model for SMEs, particularly in the retail sector. The findings emphasize that combining spatial efficiency and financial digitalization can significantly improve business performance, supporting broader efforts to digitalize micro and small enterprises in Indonesia.

Abstract

LOVETT scale is a common parameter used by the doctor or therapist to determine the muscle strength of the patient’s hands, especially patients with post-stroke. As a result of previous work of our group, a sensory glove for monitoring finger muscle therapy for post-stroke people with the name of Electronic Therapy Gloves (ETG) was proposed. With the flex sensor that embedded to the gloves we can measure the LOVETT scale of the post-stroke people. This sensory glove can help the patient doing their rehabilitation fast so that they don’t have to go to the hospital every week to check up their progress. In this work, we combine the data of sensory glove and the MYO armband for LOVETT scaling that has never been done before. The output of the Electronic Therapy Gloves can be optimized by 25%. All the LOVETT grade can be identify by the gloves, then it can help the doctor monitor the patient’s rehabilitation just by looking the patient’s record data with ETG.Keyword: LOVETT scale, flex sensor, MYO armband, post-stroke, rehabilitation.

Abstract

The main problem encountered nowadays in the health field, especially in health care is the growing number of population and the decreasing health facilities. In this regard, healthcare kiosk is used as an alternative to the health care facilities. Heart disease is a dangerous one which could threaten human life. Many people have died due to heart disease and the surgery itself is still very expensive. To analyze heart diseases, doctor usually takes a video of the heart movement using ultrasound equipment to distinguish between normal and abnormal case. The results of analysis vary depending on the accuracy and experience of each doctor so it is difficult to determine the actual situation. Therefore, a method using healthcare kiosk to check the heart health is needed to help doctor and improve the health care facilities. The aim of this research is to develop healthcare kiosk which can be used to check the heart health. This research method is divided into three main parts: firstly, preprocessing to clarify the quality of the image.In this section, the writers propose a Median High Boost Filter method which is a combined method of Median Filtering and High Boost Filtering. Secondly, segmentation is used to obtain local cavities of the heart. In this part, the writers propose using Triangle Equation that is a new method to be developed. Thirdly, classification using Partial Monte Carlo method and artificial neural network method; these methods are used to measure the area of the heart cavity and discover the possibility of cardiac abnormalities. Methods for detecting heart health are placed in the kiosk. Therefore, it is expected to facilitate and improve the healthcare facilities.Keywords: Healthcare kiosk, heart health, reprocessing, segmentation, classification.

Abstract

The implementation of Artificial Neural Network in prediction the direction of electric wheelchair from brain signal input for physical mobility impairment.. The control of the wheelchair as an effort in improving disabled person life quality. The interaction from disabled person is helping in relation to social life with others. Because of the mobility impairment, the wheelchair with brain signal input is made. This wheel chair is purposed to help the disabled person and elderly for their daily activity. ANN helps to develop the mapping from input to target. ANN is developed in 3 level: input level, one hidden level, and output level (6-2-1). There are 6 signal from Neurosky Mindset sensor output, Alpha1, Alpha2, Raw signal, Total time signal, Attention Signal, and Meditation signal. The purpose of this research is to find out the output value from ANN: value in turning right, turning left, and forward. From those outputs, we can prove the relevance to the target. One of the main problem that interfering with success is the problem of proper neural network training. Arduino uno is chosen to implement the learning program algorithm because it is a popular microcontroller that is economic and efficient. The training of artificial neural network in this research uses 21 data package from raw data, Alpha1, Aplha2, Meditation data, Attention data, total time data. At the time of the test there is a value of Mean square Error(MSE) at the end of training amounted to 0.92495 at epoch 9958, value a correlation coefficient of 0.92804 shows that accuracy the results of the training process good.  Keywords: Navigation, Neural network, Real-time training, ArduinoÂ
