Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menghadirkan tantangan dan peluang baru, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan kejuruan. SMK Swasta Sirajul Falah merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan kejuruan yang berada dalam naungan Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan yang salah satu jurusannya merupakan bidang keilmuan teknik komputer jaringan. Sebagai bagian dari calon tenaga kerja dibidang informatika tentunya para siswa harus memliki pengetahuan dan kesadaran terhadap pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence. Sebagai proses pembelajaran dan pengembangan ketrampilan siswa maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan atau workshop terkait bidang tersebut. Dengan dasar kebutuhan tersebut, maka pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tema MEMANFAATKAN ARTIFICIAL INTELIGIENCE UNTUK MEMBUAT WEBSITE DENGAN CEPAT DAN MUDAH DI SMKS SIRAJUL FALAH. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang pemanfaatan teknologi AI dalam berbagai bidang, seperti analisis data, automasi, dan pengambilan keputusan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30-an siswa, mencakup sesi presentasi materi, diskusi interaktif, dan pelatihan aplikasi berbasis AI. Selain itu. dilakukan asesmen sederhana untuk mengukut pemahaman dan kesiapan siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi AI. Dengan pendekatan yang interaktif dan berbasis kebutuhan, kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kecakapan digital siswa, mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

The availability of electrical energy is a fundamental requirement in modern society, supporting both daily life and industrial activities. To ensure efficient and reliable energy distribution, power flow analysis is critical. This analysis is grounded in Kirchhoff's laws, which serve as the foundation for understanding electrical circuits. Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL) states that "the sum of electric currents entering and leaving a branch point is zero," while Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (KVL) asserts that "the sum of electromotive forces and potential drops in a closed circuit must equal zero." These laws guide the formulation and solution of equations describing power flow in electrical networks. To manage the complexity of these systems, the Gauss-Seidel method has emerged as an effective iterative technique for solving large systems of linear equations. In the context of power flow analysis, it calculates busbar voltages, active and reactive power flows, and other parameters, refining the results through successive approximations until convergence is achieved. Python is widely recognized as an ideal platform for implementing the Gauss-Seidel method due to its syntactic simplicity, flexibility, and extensive computational libraries. By leveraging Python, engineers can streamline computations and enhance the accuracy and reliability of power flow analyses. This combination of mathematical rigor and computational power not only ensures precise results but also facilitates the efficient management of complex electrical systems in modern power grids.

Abstract

Basic training on Microsoft Word and scientific writing was held at Pesma Putra Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu to improve the digital literacy of new students. This activity was based on the participants' lack of understanding of important features in Microsoft Word that support academic writing, such as headings, automatic table of contents creation, page numbering, and citation management. The implementation method adopted a hands-on approach (learning by doing) with material delivery, practical sessions, and evaluation through a Google Form-based pre-test and post-test. The assessment results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding. The average pre-test score showed low understanding, while the post-test score rose to the category of understanding and very understanding according to the Likert scale. In addition to the increase in numbers, participants also displayed high enthusiasm during the practice. This activity shows that short training using interactive methods can have a positive influence on students' basic skills in using word processing software for academic purposes. This service activity is expected to be a reference for implementing similar training in the future, as well as supporting the improvement of digital literacy in the campus environment, especially in welcoming new students.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly influenced the culinary business sector, particularly in enhancing service efficiency and customer experience. Esthetic Cafe, as a small-to-medium-sized enterprise, faces challenges in streamlining its food ordering process, which has traditionally been conducted manually. This research aims to design and develop a web-based food ordering application system using the Laravel framework to improve operational workflow, minimize order errors, and enhance customer satisfaction. The study adopts the Research and Development (R&D) methodology and implements the Waterfall model to guide the software development life cycle. The stages include requirements analysis, system design, implementation using Laravel, system testing with black box methods, and real-world deployment. The Laravel framework was chosen due to its MVC architecture, scalability, security features, and strong community support. The system provides core functionalities such as user registration and login, menu browsing, cart management, order placement, table selection, simulated payment processing, and transaction history tracking. For administrators, the system includes modules for product and category management, order confirmation, and transaction monitoring. The user interface was designed to be intuitive and responsive, focusing on user convenience and accessibility. Testing results from twelve black box scenarios demonstrated that all system features operated as expected, with successful interactions and accurate system responses. No major errors were identified, confirming the reliability and functionality of the application. In conclusion, the implementation of this food ordering system significantly improves service quality and operational efficiency at Esthetic Cafe. The system also provides a digital solution that supports the business's transition into the digital era. This study shows that web-based applications developed with Laravel can effectively meet the technological needs of small culinary businesses and support sustainable digital transformation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) dalam menguatkan pemahaman dan praktik keagamaan masyarakat Desa Singa, Kecamatan Tigapanah, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara. Desa Singa memiliki kondisi sosisal yang unik karena mayoritas penduduknya beragama Kristen sedangkan umat islam merupakan minoritas. Hal ini berdampak pada terbatasnya pembinaan agama islam khususnya bagi anak-anak Muslim. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa KKN melaksanakan berbagai program keagamaan, antara lain mengajar mengaji, hafalan surah-surah pendek, doa harian, perwiritan, serta Festival Anak Sholeh berupa lomba azan dan hafalan. Program tersebut mampu meningkatkan semangat anak-anak muslim untuk belajar agama, menambah hafalan, serta melatih keberanian mereka tampil di depan umum. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan fasilitas, partisipasi Masyarakat yang bervariasi, dan waktu KKN yang singkat. Meskipun demikian, keberadaan mahasiswa KKN mendapat respon positif dari orang tua dan tokoh agama karena dinilai berhasil memberikan penguatan pemahaman keagamaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran mahasiswa KKN sangat penting dalam membina anak anak Muslim di Desa Singa, serta menekankan pentingnya keberlanjutan program agar manfaatnya dapat dirasakan secara jangka Panjang.
