Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan dan kecenderungan representasi matematis menurut tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita tentang segi empat di SMPN 03 Semparuk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas VIIIC SMPN 03 Semparuk. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan siswa tingkat kemampuan atas memiliki kemampuan representasi enaktif tinggi, kemampuan representasi ikonik rendah dan kemampuan representasi simbolik sangat tinggi. Siswa tingkat kemampuan menengah memiliki kemampuan representasi enaktif tinggi, kemampuan representasi ikonik dan simboliknya sangat rendah. Siswa tingkat kemampuan bawah memiliki kemampuan representasi enaktif sedang, kemampuan representasi ikonik dan simboliknya sangat rendah. Kecenderungan representasi matematis ketiganya adalah representasi enaktif. Kata Kunci : representasi matematis, kemampuan, kecenderungan Abstract : The purpose of this research is to know the ability and tendency of mathematical representation in solve the word problem about quadrilateral matter at SMP 03 Semparuk. The method of this research is descriptive research survey. The subject of this research is the VIIIC class at SMPN 03 Semparuk. The result analysis data show that the high level student have high enactive representation capability, low iconic representation and very high symbolic representations ability. The intermediate level students have high enactive representation capability, But very low in the iconic representation of and symbolically ability. And the lower level students have medium enactive representation, but very low in iconic representation and symbolically ability. All three tendency of mathematical representation is enactive representation. Key word : mathematical representations ability, mathematical representations tendency, student ability level

Abstract

Education is an effort to prepare a human being to become an independent person, capable of being a useful part of the community and taking part in efforts to build the nation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social interaction on the learning motivation of new science education students. This study uses a literature study approach. The targets in this study were new students of Science Education at the University of Jember. In analyzing the primary hypothesis we use an analysis of the literature study. Conclusion, namely: Based on the analysis that we have done, it can be seen that there is a positive and significant interaction between social interaction and the learning motivation of new students of the Science Education Study Program at the University of Jember

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum has been gradually implemented at SMPN 4 Jember. This research aims to assess the impact of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum on students' extracurricular activities at SMPN 4 Jember. Qualitative data were collected through interviews and field observations. The results of the observations indicate a positive improvement in students' extracurricular activities following the adoption of the Merdeka Curriculum. Students have become increasingly enthusiastic about developing their potential in various extracurricular activities. This research underscores the importance of the flexibility of the Merdeka Curriculum in providing students with opportunities to grow beyond the core subjects. Beyond academic achievements, the curriculum has played a pivotal role in cultivating well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also socially aware and confident in their abilities. This study serves as a testament to the positive impact of the Merdeka Curriculum on students' extracurricular activities and their broader educational experience at SMPN 4 Jember.
